there are some areas that need work in the buildings … our building has a huge area that is falling off the building and our Air conditioning was horrible. The staff is outstanding .. loved the salt pool and the golf is awesome. As a matter of fact the use of safe methods to keep the greens beautiful but without dangerous run off is so great. It is spendy there and we would love to stay a week but may be too spendy. The food is great there too.

Our accommodations were good. Nice room and accurate description. I was really disappointed with the hot tubs. The outdoor hot tub was not very clean and the indoor one was COLD. I talked to the desk about this TWICE and nothing changed for the whole time we were there—5 days! Unacceptable.

Our experience at Madden's over the Memorial Day weekend was pretty good, except that the sink in the bathroom was clogged when we used it in the evening. We called Customer Service that night and told staff about the problem. It was fixed pretty soon. So we're happy.

Rooms are outdated and noisy. There was a strong sewer gas odor that came from the bathroom the entire stay. Upon further research, this seems to be a common issue with other guests

We really enjoyed our stay. It was our first time at Madden's. The staff was very good. The room was so comfortable and nice. There was so much to do. It was a lot of fun and we will definitely do it again.

Had relatively new room by Mitchell Bay with accessible amenities. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay and we particularly appreciated a fast response to requests for help with our luggage. A wonderful place!

Our stay on Wilson Bay was beautiful. Fireplace needed to take off the chill of rain and cool air, accommodations were perfect. We dined twice at the lobby cafe, which was very clean; no COVID fears, all employees masked appropriately.

The handle fell off our balcony door and my daughter was stuck out there. They comped us breakfast. The shower was really old and not working very good. The beds were great. The grounds beautiful.

Beautiful property on a fun, recreational lake. Great service... enjoyed a boat rental, guided fishing trip, and round of golf at The Classic. We stayed at the Inn, which was fine, but next time we'd stay in a cottage so it would be easier to get outside quicker. We also wish we had our own bon fire pit.

I booked a room on wrong dates, and I found out when my husband and I showed up at hotel. I’ve made hotel reservations so many times but it never happened to me before. I had a rough week and didn’t even check a confirmation email either. Fortunately, they had a vacant so they moved my reservation without any problems. It was snow mix rain on the weekend, and we couldn’t do any outside activities. However, we just slept late and watched white view, just relaxed.

The fall colors are good to see here in the resort.There was a wide variety of activities during the MEA weekend for kids. We just hoped that the trick or treat would have been organized way better. They have a good customer service from reservations up to the last day of our stay.

Nice location but due to upcoming closure for the winter season the dining room was offering buffet meals only!! The menus were designed for children without any resemblance to fine dining!! Very disappointed!

Beautiful grounds,clean and spacious rooms! We were only there for an overnight, but enjoyed the great live music in the Pub!! Will be back for a longer stay!
