We had a truly unforgettable time and would come back to Fez for this Riad alone. We visited in early July and felt like we were the only ones there. Nabil made us feel like royalty and is a gem to have on staff. Thank you for treating us so kindly. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate to book your stay.

The riad was so beautiful. Ahmed and staff were so helpful and friendly. They made our stay an amazing experience. They had upgraded us to a suite free of charge as we were on our honeymoon. The suite was absolutely stunning and made our stay in Fez one to remember.

Probably the nicest hotel room I’ve ever had. Such a beautiful hotel

AMAZING. The hotel was nearly empty the entire stay. Wonderful staff, attentive and accommodating. Decor is outstanding in all of the buildings. Food was traditional Moroccan but delicious.

The location, room and staff made this a phenomenal experience. Samir, the house manager, Abdoul, Abdoul, Said, Nabil, Omar, guides Abdoul and Mohammed, and countless others made this trip and the Riad. This was our first trip to Morocco and first Médina experience. From a safety and relaxation standpoint, Riad La Maison Bleue was a success! Make sure you take the opportunity to eat at La Maison Bleue, the sister Riad. This is an engaging culinary and entertainment experience

The accomodations and rooms were lovely, and the breakfast was great. We also dined there one night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were not satisified, however, with the staff. When we checked in, a staff member asked if we would like for them to arrange a city tour. We agreed to a price of 700 dh (about $70 USD) for a half-day tour. Our tour guide was not knowledgeable about the history of the sites and often rushed us through them quickly. In fact, the only place we spent much time were places we could spend money (a ceramic shop, a rug shop, a clothing store, an antiques store and a leather store). We shared this feedback with the hotel, and the person simply raised his eyebrows and shrugged his shoulders. We asked about transportation to Volibulous (Roman ruins about 90 KM away) - - - being very clear that we wanted only a driver/car and not a guide. The same person at the hotel told us it would cost 1,200 dh (about $120 USD). Instead we opted to walk to the squre and pick up a grand taxi - - - which we paid 700 dh for (a 500 dh or $50 USD savings). So we enjoyed the hotel but do not let the staff there book any trips or guides for you.

A wonderful small boutique hotel with a perfect location fir visiting the Médina. Oor room was spacious and comfortable, but dark. The service was friendly and the furnishings beautiful and tasteful. The most delicious food is served. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

Very nice Riad, close to Medina in fes. Very warm and welcoming staff. Greeted with mint tea and dates, as is the tradition. Long check in process. Only down side is amount of stairs, it is 3 connected riads and thus a lot of up and down on uneven stairs. Not good for elderly or knee problems. Breakfast one of the best I’ve enconteted at a Riad. Front desk very helpful, arranged for 1/2 day tour with guide which costed 400 dirham for guide, 300 dirham for taxi. Also arranged for whatever else necessary. There are safes in the rooms, but unfortunately they all very broken, despite resetting. Did not contact front desk to correct. Very nice roof top.

On checking in , there was some misunderstanding about the type of accommodation booked for us, since one of us get difficulty in climbing stairs, high steps we managed to get ground floor rooms with extra money of 30 euros per day. There was also misunderstanding about city and hotel taxes, the management were not aware that it was paid as you advised.

Riad Maison Bleue is a luxuriously restored riad just inside the medina walls of Fez el Bali and conveniently located off of Talaa Kebira, one of the main streets through the old medina. The staff was very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The multi-level rooftop terrasse which overlooks the medina walls facing the Borj Nord and Saadian Tombs was a lovely setting both for dinner and breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the complimentary fruit basket was a lovely touch.

We had a wonderful experience at the Riad Maison Bleu. After being greeted with stuffed dates and goat milk, we were shown our rooms and the rest of the property. We were surprised to learn that our rooms had been upgraded. The staff found us a marvelous guide for our time in Fes. We also ate supper at their sister restaurant, which was a superb dining experience.

Stayed 3 nights in October 2015. Riad exceeded expectations and is expertly run.Location is perfect on edge of medina, near talaa kebira (one of main arteries), accessible by taxi to within one lane. Beautiful building tastefully restored, staff helpful and discreetly attentive. Photos don't do full justice to the complex interiors of Fassi architecture, this is a gem. Really comfortable with great attention to detail in making your stay special.

A friend & I went to Fez for 4 nights and had a great experience, the riad was beautiful, room was cleaned twice a day, the staff went the extra mile to help, especially Iddriss & Zaid. The restaurant served really nice food, my friend loved their Moroccan soup. I would definitely stay at the riad if I rerurn to Fez, & recommend it to my friends, it is also just a few minutes to the Medina.

The hotel is well placed, on the edge of the Medina, within easy walking to all historic attractions. The service at the hotel was excellent and the rooms extremely comfortable. When we went away for a couple of days on a trip to Chefchaouen, they looked after our bags. Anything we needed such as a taxi to the airport or just mint tea was quickly and efficiently provided.
