The bed was clean and comfortable. But little attention to detail. Venetian blinds were in poor repair, with no black out curtains, let in the outdoor lights so the room never got dark. Only 1 small soap about 2inch diameter. Carpet old, worn, and stained. Vanity sink-hot and cold water reversed. Coffee maker had no carafe. Very poor accomodation for the price.

Pleased with this hotel. I just couldn't find a hairdryer. Weather was great, so I didn't miss it so much.

Room was very tastefully done, looks like it was recently updated. Loved having windows on both ends of the room, beds were comfortable and clean! Slept great, will return to this inn if I am in need again!

Right on the lake for swimming or waterskiing etc. Fun place with good AC for hot days. Lots of convenient stuff to do.

The property is an older motel, at first glance I was thinking it’s another run down motel. However to my surprise the room was very nice, comfortable bed and away from highway traffic noise. If you’re looking for a quiet out of the way from traffic place to sleep for the night and not too expensive, this is the place!

Property staff were very friendly and helpful. I was very disappointed in the motel..very old, no updating, different from the photos on line. I would not recommend the place.

Very overpriced for what you get…. There’s a smell on the property & the locks to the room are very poor quality. We didn’t feel safe staying here.

I know they're in the process of fixing the place up, but there is a lot that needs to be done. If you follow the Google maps directions, you will end up in a gravel parking lot filled with vehicles that look like they have not run in years. Pulling out of that lot, you will find yourself in another lot with no lines marked on the pavement, one EV charger, set up only for Tesla's, and a tiny office with no one in it. Eventually, someone helped me and I headed to my room. On my way there, a gentleman who was working on one of the rooms engaged me in a conversation about how he was a busy bee. He told me what hours he works, and a number of other pleasantries that I neither asked for, nor wanted to hear. My room was at the end of the hall, so only one neighbor on one side.. sadly, that neighbor was an industrial closet with a machine that made a very loud home for several hours. The room itself smelled musty, and did not look like it had been refurbished since the 1970s. The television had satellite capacity, but very few channels. Overall, I thought a place with ratings like these on this site would be so much better. This was very motel 6ish.

Great location and room was large and comfortable. Great shower and hot water. A little aged but OK. The property/yard, at one time, would have been incredibly beautiful but requires maintenance. Pool looked unusable. The water front view is fantastic.

I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room. It was very run down on the exterior and the "shouting through a window to check in" wasn't pleasant.

It’s a retro motel and very clean and inexpensive. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Easy to find and close to the freeway but very quiet. I’d stay here again!

I recently had a disappointing and frustrating experience at Lakeshore Inn waterfront.I feel i have to share my experience preventing others from failing into the same trap.Lakeshore Inn failed to deliver on its promises, charged defrauding fees maintained unhygienic conditions & displayed a complete lack of customer service. Lakeshore Inn website was misleading, the photos & descriptions portrayed a clean well-maintained establishment but the reality couldn't have been further from the truth. Upon arrival it became apparent that the property housed long-term residents. This was not disclosed on the website. The room was dirty, bedding looked old & worn there was black mold in the shower the carpet was stained it was uncomfortable and unpleasant environment to spend time in.But the most frustrating aspect of my experience was the owners complete rude lack of willingness to address our concerns, when we asked for a refund we were met with a refusal to cooperate,mine you that all our concerns were brought up the first day there we lost alittle over1600 hundred dollars for 12 days and we weren't on vacation we were there to take our son to college. This level of customer service is unacceptable & demonstrates a complete disregard for there guest satisfaction.

The place was old but had a face life, was clean and quite. I slept really good that night.

Place was clean, the rooms were much nicer than I thought they would be. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy and smelled clean. I would definitely stay here again. I guess if I have to complain about something it would be parking. It was a bit tricky, not a real problem though.

I arrived at 2pm and my room was ready, yet they wanted to charge $45 to check in 1 hour early. I paid $196 for 1 night in a “lake view” room which is upstairs and your only view of the lake is obstructed by other buildings and trees. If you have a pet, expect to pay an additional $26. I wanted to support a local mom/pop establishment versus going across the street to the Best Western, but the poor customer service and high rates just left me disappointed and wishing I would’ve gone with a trusted name. The only positive was the linens smelled fresh and bleached, bed was soft and comfortable.

The place is very clean, room, bathroom, and grounds. The bed was comfortable. I knew from other reviews that property is dated, but all we wanted was a clean room, the last few hotels we stayed at were dirty, even though they had very good review and well over $100 a night. It seems that everyone is struggling to find good housekeepers/employees. Will definetely stay here again. Recommend!!!

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The bathtub was functional, but needs a better shower head. The price of the room was very reasonable so it makes up for the lack of updating.

The check in experience was horrible I booked 2 rooms one in my name and the other in my sons name same last name they wouldn’t let me check him in to try and get the rooms close to each other then they couldn’t accommodate a senior on a lower level room had to take really steep steps as there is no elevator

The lakeside inn was a great stopping spot in travel for a good night rest and early leave for the price. Technically it is by the lake, yet the view is limited. This is an old motel where the owners are putting great effort to update the interior space. The exterior has seen better days. Yet, the bed slept well, it is clean, and met all our needs for a travel night.

It was reasonably priced and pretty convenient.
