Excellent stay at costal waters torquay,the hosts were very helpful and friendly, we will definatly be staying here again

Nice to find a place that ticks all the boxes. The steps and stairs to the property did take it out of us, and the car park was uphill but we did mange it. Sumsa and Raj were great hosts and they always enquired as to what they might do to improve our stay. Just keep on doing what you are good at. Ange and Dave from Bristol.

Amazing B&B , location is excellent near to the harbour , shops and bars and restaurants.Rooms are a goid size with comfy bed and a good shower and akso a small fridge.You get the best breakfast ever well cooked and hot we loved it and breakfast times are good as served till 9.30 unlike some B&B’s so if you feel like a lie in on yours holiday its a bonus .Hosts are friendly and go out their way to make your stay comfortable.One of the best in Torquay in our opinion . Its spotless both in the rooms and communal areas.We had a great time and will not hesitate to rebook.Thank you Raj and your wife for making us feel welcome and comfortable through out our stay .Hope to see you next year.

Such a shame that we could only stay one night. Lovely room, spotlessly clean, great location, attentive service and a superb breakfast. We will return.

The hotel was nice - nothing to complain about regarding this place. Proprietors are very friendly and breakfast is great.

Lovely breakfasts. Clean well equipped rooms. Free parking although this was a few minutes walk away. Very kind & helpful proprietor. Any special requests as regards diet or issues with too many stairs they’d do their best to help. Sadly for those with very restricted mobility this isn’t suitable as the street entrance is up stone steps & the rooms on the first & second floors

We had a great stay could not have been better. The owners could not do enough for us. The hotel has just a total refurbishment and it is spot on. We will most definitely go there for another stay.

We arrived very tired from a long air trip and were greeted by a friendly sunny smile ..As it was difficult for me to walk he decided to see if they had a room on the ground floor .They did ,It was a lovely clean Victorian room with a modern ensuite .The hotel breakfast offers a wide range of food ,fruit,cereals ,bread juice ,milk,coffee and you have 6 choices of cooked breakfast as well in a sunny smart dining room .If you have a need you only need to let the proprietors know and they will try to help you..We had a restful three day stay at Hotel Barton and were sad to leave .The warmth ,ambience and nice rooms make it an extra special small hotel

Single En-Suite room , Clean & Tidy, excellent location

Fab hotel . Breakfast excellent . Close to bars, pubs shops and seafront .

The hotel was spotlessly clean and was everything we needed for a few days stay. We had the superior room which was bigger than the normal double standard. Which we preferred. But that is a personal oppinion as I like space. The breakfasts were great and was enough to get us through the day. The service was excellent. We also asked for an iron, an ironing board and a hair dryer and was at our room within mins. We were given a parking pass so parked in the rear car park for free. Bit of a walk up hill again but was worth it. After walking for miles I realise Torquay is very hilly no matter where you stay. Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Nightlife was very busy in town but it was august. Overall enjoyed our stay. Very reasonable price for august too. Owners could not do enough for you.

The owners of the hotel were very welcoming, we felt like at home. Breakfast was fantastic - compliments to the chef. Location could not be better, 5min from great curry house ;-) and just a few minutes away from the harbour. Could not ask for more. Reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended. Thank you !!! :-)
