Room was nice and clean on arrival, serviced daily. Safe wasn't working but was replaced quickly although not attached to the wall. Shower flooded but was quickly cleared and fine for the rest of the stay. Lots of USB ports to charge devices. Pool had lots of sunbeds and umbrellas and no rush to get one. The 2nd pool was nice but needed cushions on the wooden slatted beds. Activities going on throughout the day, if you wish to join in, and the animation team were friendly. The food was good and plentiful, a nice selection of salads and hot food, desserts and fruit. This is a full board plus hotel, so not completely all inclusive, food only available during the dining hours, also beer and wine at lunch and dinner. 2 bars open for drinks to be purchased but were quite pricey, especially for a non-alcoholic fruit cocktail which was about £6! The kids club was up to the age of 11, juniors were 12 and above. The animation team were friendly and had craft activities and put on a show one evening after the mini disco. Overall, it was a nice hotel, which was close to the beach for water activities and boat trips. Bowling available at the other Bluesun Hotel. If LED lights bother you at night, then take some black electrical tape as it was like Blackpool illuminations with 7 tiny lights dotted around the room, which you could also see reflected in the mirror making 14!! Never has the sticky luggage tag come in so handy! It is not a hotel for those that like to stay up late.

Great for families with children!

It was way overpriced for what the property offered. The rooms were comfortable and the food was ok but the high season summer price left you expecting way more.

We stayed here for 4 nights with our two year old and loved it! Food great, excellent staff, relaxed atmosphere, near to nice bars/restaurants, close to the beach. Would stay again!

We had a very nice stay here in Bol. The room was newly renovated, modern and very fresh, all areas clean and very friendly staff. The food was ok, a big classic buffet, nothing spectacular but good. A bit noisy restaurant area. For a family with children I’d say it’s super, but maybe not the absolute beat option if you’re looking for a quiet romantic place.

Spend here 4 days and enjoyed our stay, great location and very convenient. It is a very family oriented property, small kids everywhere. I would recommend it for parents with small kids, dining options are great and pool options a plenty. Beach is close by and also the famous Zlatni Rat beach is only 5 minutes away.

Lovely property in great central location. Only one bar, which is outside by the ppol, and in the evening, the outside area, we couldn't have anylights on, so it was dark! We sould have like to play card games, and chat and have a drink away from the Agadoo playing fr th kids, and asked to have the lights on, but was told it wasn't allowed :(

The food was bad at all meals

Ideal for families with children.
The “all inclusive”, left much to be desired. While food was plentiful, the cafeteria style dining and the selection of food is not something I would recommend especially to people that might be “foodies”!!
The lodgings….adequate, NO FRILLS!
Would never go to this property again, and this was our third time in Bol. Love Bol, just did not enjoy this property!!

Quality of the rooms is average, but it is equal ***hotels. Food was over our expectations. The choice was really large. The staff was really involved and they had positive approach to guests.

Perfect for a 4 night stay near Bol in late September. Lovely pool and gardens. Food excellent in the restaurant. although always busy. Alcoholic drinks not so good. Staff friendly. Entertainment catered towards the French, although that wasn't a problem to us as we don't bother with it anyway.

Excellent location, between city center and Zlatni rat beach, 5-10 minutes of walk. The staff is very young, friendly and helpful. All inclusive is great - they have fantastic choice of food during all day. The hotel is crowded with French people, so all animation programs are in their language. Free bikes are not in good condition.

Fairly good all inclusive alternative in Bol. All entertainment is however in French and very noisy.

Great all inclusive resort with a large variety of food and drinks included as part of your stay. Easy walking distance to Bol Centre and Zlatnog Rat beach which is absolutely stunning. Would be great if the resort had more Croatian entertainment (very much catered to French tourists). Great pool and facilities!

Ok if you can get a good price. We paid 200€ for a family room and I think it was too much for an outdated room in not very good condition. Food was eatable, swimming pool ok.

Very good service, excellent restaurant with all kind of food from the breakfast to dinner. Pools are nice even cold on May. Hotel was crowded with french people and all shows were only in french. Of course if you understand and speak it entertaiment would be fun. That was strange!

It’s a 3 star hotel and don’t expect more ....small rooms and the mattress needs to be change. The food was good enough to eat but I expected just one day something special but never arrives
The soft drinks are undrinkable, we notice that some days were more sweet, watery others without gas...we have said this to the weiters but no reasonable answers...the alcoholic drinks were terrible only the beer and water were good enough to drink.
My boyfriend is diabetic and we ask several times in the bar and the restaurant for sweetener/natren...on the bar...no, in the restaurant no! I ask the reception and they said yes we have....where? No answer! Last day we had breakfast and finally we found it....
It’s a hotel close to everything, beaches, center, and hotel swimming pool was nice and clean.
We used to go to all inclusive hotels and I could not recommend this one, We paid too much for what we received.

Excellent hotel with great pool and green areas. Very well located. The all inclusive sistem is very organised and the food is awesome. The cleanliness is not the best part of the room but the staff is very friendly and they love to help.

Food was really good - rated best kitchen on the island. Rooms are a little outdated, but do come with an LCD tv. Island of Brac is great for a relaxing get away. Would definitely recommend for a cheap all inclusive holiday.

Bonaca is a HOTEL located on the beautiful island of Brac. The staff is helpful and friendly. It is a hotel primarily for families with small children. The entertainment team offers a lot of activities and there is a fantastic tennis camp (clay court) just a few minutes away.
But the restaurant is too noisy like at many all inclusive hotels.

Overall we were happy with our stay but as a young couple we did not anticipate how family oriented the place would be as children were commonly running all over the pool area. We spent most of our time down at the beach which was a short walk away and the grounds of the resort appeared well maintained. Food was good enough with a wide variety of both local and more traditional dishes to try. The room was a little dated and had a bit of a camp type feel with the older blankets and pillows but the AC worked well and kept the place cool even though it was hardly needed. WiFi was essentially non existent in the rooms so we had to check up on plans in the common area and at dinner which was a little bit of a pain since it should be relatively easy to fix. I would highly suggest a stay here for any family considering it.
