Although the main office was located about 1-2 blocks away from this one of many local properties, they moved my luggage into my room both in and out, first when I arrived before check-in, and second, when I checked out of the room before the main office opened, returning later for a late flight home.

Always a great stay at Copley House.

I love this place. it feels homey.
The rooms are comfortable and have everything needed to spend time as if I lived there. The kitchen is small but functional and I loved that this room had a table where I could eat and work. The bed is very comfortable and I loved that there were plenty of pillows. The internet signal wasn't great but I had my hot spot so it didn't matter much to me.
I look forward to coming back!

The room was nice, clean and very close to the Prudential Center.

The room was in a basement and accessing it was a bit cramped. Hard to take the luggage down into the basement. Also, there was no way to control the temperature as we could not find the thermostat to adjust. Otherwise, a great location close to Prudential Center mall. Very walkable!!

Great location. Room was decent, perfect for what we needed. Checkin was seamless and was able to get parking nearby. Would stay here again.

Location of Copley House is great. Right by Prudential and the beautiful Newbury Street. The facilities however need work. We stayed in the suite. Setup was cozy but they really need to do basic maintenance. Door knob was broken, closet door was off track, tub had a big gouge in it, exposing a big dark spot if you lifted up the bath mat. My son went to move the bath mat and found the dark spot which grossed him out. They could at least paint or cover up the dark spot somehow. There was water damage to the bath cabinet. Fridge and toaster oven seemed pretty new which was so good to have. The stay is fine but be prepared for the maintenance issues that the place requires.

The check-in process was very easy; the room was clean and had your basic necessities. We are partial to the old brownstones of Boston ;-) The off-street parking was good, but it was tight for our Jeep Cherokee. The walls are definitely thin, and we could hear everything going on outside, 2 floors down like we were standing on the sidewalk. You'll likely struggle to sleep here if you are a light sleeper.

There is pre-booking in process. You fill out a form prior to checking in. It did not take long.
The staff was friendly upon arrival. My room wasn’t ready at 3pm. I decided to leave my luggage at the front desk. They agreed to take it to my room once it was ready. I decided to go to the Prudential Center to eat which is only a two minute walk away.
I’m glad that I didn’t have to take my own luggage UP two flights of stairs. There is no elevator. The room was small but clean. I had a new towel for every day of my stay. The a/c unit needed to be serviced. It blew out cool air and dust, affecting my allergies.
The bathroom fixtures need replacing: toilet paper holder and shower. I did like the slower gel provided; I have sensitive skin.
The walls are thin…
I ordered a package from Amazon which arrived the next day. It was secured at the front desk. Keep in mind there is not a 24/7 front desk. Hours are 9am - 9pm.
I liked that there was free WiFi and a smart TV in the room. I noticed that the WiFi signal dropped from the TV on day two. I spoke with staff to have the issues rectified. I was told to unplug the TV to reset it if this happens again. It worked. I had to do it twice during my five night stay.
For security purposes, there is CCTV at the front of the house, inside house upon entering and in various parts of the staircases.
The room met my purpose. A clean room for my stay while visiting Boston for medical reasons.

For the exuberant cost, this felt like a bad dorm room. Not near check in but 1/4 mile away. Hoofed it with luggage down 2 streets

Exactly as described. Very comfortable stay all round.

It was a good-sized room with a kitchenette which was very useful. The map provided by the hotel was not detailed enough to find our way around the city. The visit to Harvard University was amazing. This hotel is very well situated to see the historical area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.

Copley House is a victorian era group of buildings that have been renovated to modern suites. The location near the Prudential Center in Boston is easily accessible from BOS taking the Logan Express Back Bay. We found the convenience of a kitchen & close groceries a blessing for breakfast each day. One challenge to be aware of, there are no elevators in these buildings & the bathrooms are small, but everything is clean, functional and charming. The neighborhood is quite walkable & feels friendly and safe.
We will choose to stay at Copley house again!

Decent stay, but found dirty underwear in the apartment. No air-conditioning and Tv didn't work. Very thin walls and noisy. Staff friendly tough.

Great apartment in a nice area. Clean and tidy with a small kitchen made our stay very pleasant.

The economy room was quite small but, we made it work. Staff was friendly but, there is no air-conditioning in the rooms so ask for a fan if you are there during a warm weather event. It’s not a perfect solution but it does help. All in all, we thought the Copley House was a good value for our stay in Boston.

A minimal place reminiscent of hotels in Japan. Even though the room and bed were small, they were well-maintained and clean. There were a lot of amenities for the space, comparable those present in much larger rooms. The pillows had substance!
The check in and checkout procedure were very clear. The only minor improvement I'd make would be to give residents an easier option to opt into cleaning service on a given day. I like that they don't default to cleaning -- there's no point in cleaning a room that frequently, in my opinion -- but having the option would be nice.

Loved the location, Rick was a jewel at check in- great referrals to food and subway advice. Thx!

Super convenient location, everything you need is in walking distance. The shower in my room was clogged and backed up quickly and while the water pressure was good, the streams were going in weird directions. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

the shower was good but the light was rusty and there was a problem draining water from sink
there was a not very friendly receptionist but the girl who speaks french is perfect

Great location in the back bay area. Walking distance to the Prudential Centre, Boynston Street for dining and Newbury Street for shopping.
Large, comfortable bed, nice lounge area with sofa, dining table and desk plus a well equipped kitchen area with everything you need including coffee machine with coffee pods and tea making facilities - top ups were available at reception, which was nice. Decent size bathroom with shower.
Parking area out back, with not too far to drive to anywhere in Boston.
Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a great stay.

The property was a step above hotels in the area in that we had a kitchen and full fridge. The bathroom had a full shower which worked great. We were only given 1 towel each however. It is an old city and as such the AC is window and/or minisplit. Did great job cooling central room of the property, but struggled to keep the sleeping quarters cool overnight. We ended up sleeping on the pull out couch. Cost was a little higher than some hotels, but less than others. For the location, I we were not able to find anything else at their price point and offered ammenities. While they offered parking, the spots at the building we were staying at were full. So, the parking available was roughly 3 blocks away. This wasnt great, but was better than street parking.

This was a short 10 minute walk to the NU campus which was the main reason for my visit. Orange line was right around the corner and green line is around the other corner.
Room has a stocked kitchen with pots and pans as well as eating utensils.

Had an amazing stay here! As a solo traveler I felt safe in the space and it was easily walkable to everything I wanted to do in Boston!

Copley House was a lovely apartment for our family of 3. However, the first apartment had 3 flights of stairs and was located about 5mins away, which did not suit our needs. We were offered an alternative apartment without stairs. So beware of the fine print.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The location is so very convenient to the T, the main streets as well as being close to everything we wanted to see.
The room was super with a European charm, small, cozy quiet but with all that we needed. The bed was comfy and the room was clean.

I like being able to make meals for myself due to food allergies. Between downtown and Art museums. Accross the street from the prudential center

We needed a last minute room near Northeastern, and this was the perfect place. Clean, cool, and quiet. We should have gotten the parking pass, too

This property was exactly what i was looking for - the location was perfect for my needs, and it was much more affordble than the nearby hotels. Small studio space, but worked for our needs. Very clean!

Copley House is a group of accommodations in the area of the main office. Check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was one block away from the main office, but the area is nice and the walk was not an issue. The room was nice and clean, the bed was large, but the bathroom was small. Try to get a room not on the top couple of floors as there are no elevators and the spiral staircase could be an issue for those who don’t get around easily. All things considered, Copley House is a good place to stay in the Back Bay area of Boston.

We loved our stay at Copley House! We loved that it was away from the main tourist areas. Transit was near by and so easy to use. We were walking distance to Fenway. The room was lovely and quiet. No complaints!
