Quiet spa hotel with incredible interior design. Gorgeous. Very expensive food options so you will need a car. Worth a stay for sure.

We had a fantastic three night stay despite the bad weather.
The service, food and ambience all scored 10/10. Carmen who provided concierge services made reservations for us ahead of our stay. Stand out location, smart decor, and when the sun came out on our last day we realised the restaurant Tella had a sea view which was previously hidden by cloud. Wonderful!

Our only regret was that we did not book this place for more time. It was amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer! Don’t miss a massage with Mar, or dinner in their restaurant!

loved the vegetable garden, breakfast room with the view, swimming pool area with steam and architecture in general. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Gym was unattended so if you went early and needed help, no one was around. Also, only heavy weights available. my big complaint was service at breakfast. not friendly nor attentive. Pastries were good but other items were just fair.

Despite the fact that the description of the property says that they accept service dogs, we were denied the access to our room after traveling for 6 hours. We arrived at 9 pm and got treated very poorly by the staff of an establishment which is far from deserving to be in the guide Relais et Chateaux. We had all proper documentation for our 12 pounds service dog and yet we’re told that only blind individuals qualified for service animal in Spain. But the way the staffs acted from the time we parked was just unacceptable not matter what are the standard of the property. We have been staying in 6 Relais et Châteaux during our trip and have be treated amazingly everywhere except for this property. They did not help us finding another rooms….. this property doesn’t even deserve to be sold by any proper hospitality company as they have no clue about hospitality

We really enjoyed our single night at this beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and well designed and we had a small outdoor area which was very welcome. Molton Brown products in the bathroom also gave it a premium feel. The common areas are very stylish and tastefully decorated. The only criticism I would have is that the bar and restaurant, although both excellent, are rather expensive. €16 for a gin and tonic is a lot!

The design is awesome, facilities are great, front of house staff is awesome however if you ask for an extra coffee at breakfast “after they close 5 minutes before “ you are told no... terrible service for a 5star establishment

We stayed in the presidential suite, largest room in the hotel. The booking was for 3 including our daughter but the front desk insisted that they need to charge extra for our daughter’s bed, in the presidential suite!! Not what I expected from this type of property and for the price paid. Comfortable bed and spacious suite. Amenities were below standard for a 5 star hotel and and below expectation for a Relais & Chateaux property. Staff is very polite but not warm or very welcoming. Property is very nice but The room lacked the basic amenities for a luxury hotel. No coffee or water provided in the room. Would I stay here again? Only if I have to..

We had a lovely time at the Palacio de Luces in Asturias. The hotel is very near the port and beaches, and Siderias (think pubs that serve the local cider). The indoor pool was great, the room was lovely. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was particularly stellar, with made to order eggs, omelettes, churros and chocolate as well as a great buffet. Only fault would be the wifi, which was quite weak, not reaching the room or the pool area.

Great hotel in Asturias. Grounds and room were wonderful and a great value. Proved to be a great jumping off point to explore the beauty of lastres and llanes. Dinner was excellent as well.
