Staff was very friendly. Feels secluded, in nature. Only breakfast nor coffee was not available onsite, so we had to order it to be delivered everyday. I would definitely stay here again though and bring my own coffee 😊. Good location, next to the ridge walk and rice fields.

This place was perfect! The only issue we had was the location at night, very out of the way and does not feel safe with poor street lights and a LOT of dogs. BUT do not be put off. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Ubud centre everyday at 10am and 3pm and you can get a taxi/bike back at night very easily.
On top of this...the views are stunning, rooms are clean, bed is comfy, the staff are so friendly, the gardens are beautiful, pool is great & the free breakfast is so good - you get a large fruit juice, pot of tea/coffee per person (it does 4 cups!), fruit platter and then either fresh pancakes, poached eggs on toast with or without bacon or Indonesian brekkie (rice or noodles). Recommend them all!

Overall, its a nice place to stay for a couple of days. The hotel is a bit tired, but rooms are spaceous with big balcony/terrace. Bathroom is very basic. Amazing view from the pool/breakfast area. The hotel is well located - 10 mins drivd from the centre of Ubud. Its 3 stars as stated.

Hotel is surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers away from city noise with breathtaking view. Staff is mostly friendly, but some should make more effort to smile. It is a bit difficult to understand the staff.
Top sheets were a bit dirty and after clean up they still didn't change the dirty one.
Food is great both at breakfast and dinner, but fresh juices are terrible - either just coloured water or a lot of syrup, so don't bother ordering that.
Still, the place is amazing, would definitely come back.

The hotel was in a quiet location with a beautifully landscaped garden, the staff and breakfast exceeded my expectations and the hotel had a great view of one of the islands volcanoes. Transport to other locations or to the center of Ubud itself was no problem and booked at competitive prices, everything work effectively and the WiFi was very good during our stay. The on site Balinese massage was excellent and situated in a very tranquil relaxing location overlooking a small river. I was disappointed with the center of Ubud itself as it was too touristy and was grateful to get back to the hotel. A romantic and relaxing hotel. Highly recommended.

The hotel buildings are lovely and the grounds and pool fantastic. If you don't mind the location (you will need a car and you will need good instructions when you first arrive) then this is a fabulous place to stay. The hotel is also the start point for a lovely walk through the rice fields.

Stayed for three days in Bunga Permai, lovely hotel, found staff very friendly and accommodating. Only downside is it is a bit of a distance from Ubud. There is a shuttle in twice a day but you need a cab back out.

The hotel itself is quite nice. The facilities were adequate but could be improved. The reception staff were not helpful once, and the shuttle drivers were pushy for their daytrips, however the restaurant food was surprisingly nice considering the small kitchen. The hotel is approx. 15 minutes from central Ubud, however the twice daily complimentary shuttles were useful. On a positive note, the pool area was beautiful and the massage on site good value.

Great quiet location, lovely jungle setting, great room with four poster bed, I stayed in room 3 upstairs - deluxe room and it was nice and breezy and did not even need the air con (having said that I do live in Darwin). I loved the french bi-fold doors opening to the balcony and view of the (clean) pool & trees. The cleanliness was excellent and room made up every day, bottles of water replaced. Breakfast (4 to choose from) included in the nightly rate. Not exactly gourmet, but clean food and acceptable quality - I recommend the American Breakfast (bacon, eggs, toast, fruit, tea or coffee) as the "eggs Benedict" was kind of a laugh. I tried one main meal for dinner at the restaurant - Beef Rendang - and it had a nice enough curry sauce, but the beef was like trying to chew through an old leather shoe - very tough - so could not eat it. Overall, the food quality was acceptable, but not worth paying actual money for. Much better to go into the nice restaurants at Ubud to eat. Hotel recommends a driver, Marty, who speaks good English and offers tours. He's very friendly and trustworthy - plus, you can call him any time 24 hours. I had him pick me up at 11 pm once. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating, but not all speak English, so be sure to confirm your order at the restaurant especially (trying to get the message across of poached eggs failed on two occasions). Overall a great place to stay, nice and quiet and FANTASTIC value for money. I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful location. Bit out of town. Staff could do with some English lessons.

I loved Bunga Permai!
The Rainforest in the open air restaurant and massage area was divine to look at and listening to the running river below just set the scene for divine relaxation. You must book in for a massage with Agong she will pamper you with a lovely massage then a herbal scrub then a open air bath of flowers! So healing.... The food was really good we didn't need to go anywhere else for days. I will be back soon!
