This was the first leg of our trip, perfect for relaxing. The bungalows were very roomy and in a great location to walk or catch the shuttle. The pools are absolutely amazing and all the restaurants were delicious. Passage Peak was a breathtaking walk.

Nice place

The room could have benefited from a lounge, there’s certainly enough room for one. Otherwise an excellent alternative choice to a hotel room.

Great accommodation with friendly staff, we’ll be back!

First time to Hamilton Island and we were impressed and had a great week rest. We had a Bungalow and it’s a very spacious and has all you need. I little dated but clean and would book again. The resort would be expensive if you ate out 3 meals a day but because there is a very good IGA on island, plan well and enjoy all the facilities without breaking the bank. The weather was outstanding and we will be back.

Beware: Smokers are an issue in these rooms.
You’re so close to your neighbors that if they are smokers you might end up being trapped in your room to avoid their smoke clouds. I will not stay in these rooms again.

Actually part of a large low budget hotel. We would not stay again.

The beach was great but the staff really let the place down, it did not feel like a place you could relax and be taken care of. I couldn't pick up internet in the bungalows but would connect immediately outside closed shops by the marina. The bungalow was very run down and stained but the mold at the bottom of the shower and roof could be cleaned. I wouldn't go back or recommend it - go to Daydream Island instead it was much better.

A lot of construction around the bungalow, not a nice view. Bungalow was with basic amenities

It was great stay but very less vegetarian options near the property and in the island itself

A spacious and clean private villa with a huge bathroom and closet. Could have used another place to sit in the room since the "couch" was more like a deep daybed without a mattress. We loved everything and this would have been a 5-star review but we arranged for transport for us and our luggage down to the harbor when checking out and that transport did not come, causing us to have no time to grab breakfast at a cafe before our ferry came.

Stayed for 3 nights during the school holiday. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Plenty to do and great facilities. Beach was the biggest let down.

Great place to be - off the beach and surrounded by cockatoos and wallabies. Close to the marina and everything is walkable on the island.
They offered free transfers to and from the hotel and breakfast was good quality. Perfect for a short break away.

It was a lovely, spacious and delightful place. Very close to everything(very convenient). I would recommend this.

We had a perfect stay at Palm Bungalows and were pleasantly surprised by the access and amenities that came with staying there. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our trip a very relaxing and enjoyable one.
As others have mentioned, check in was a little slow (not helped by the heat upon arrival from the airport), but otherwise everything else was perfect.

It was a great stay. The room is clean.

Next time, if the flight departure at 11, perhaps guests can stay till 9:30AM instead of leaving so early and wait at the Hamilton Island airport.

Unfortunately most of the staff are very rude .
It was to topic of conversation amongst the guests ,
Which is never a good thing .

Great place with wild life around all the time. No cleaning you had to do it your self , they changed towels and did beds only.

ROOM BETWEEN BUNGALOWS

NO 17 WAS QUITE NOISY IN EVENINGS WITH PEOPLE RETURNING HOME

Loved the bungalow we were in with the birds in trees and the wallabies feeding on the lawn.
The pool, beach, restaurants etc were a 2 minute walk. The Wild life cafe was just up from the end of the street.

I love the separate bungalows cf being in an apartment or hotel room. Tucked into the side of the mountain so you get lovely sea breezes while sleeping in the hammock. Loved it

Very orientated for families so couples not as catered for. Expensive to eat. Burgers at sails were fantastic. Staff all friendly. Visitors on buggies were annoying

It is a beautiful place and the resort fits in well without adverse impact on the environment.

For what you paying for the service is not great. We have waited over 2 hours for our room and once ready we had to wait some more for a staff member to drive us to our Bungalow. At the reception they just provided us with a map, but no explanation on what the resort can/will offer to its patrons. Overall didn’t feel welcome

The bungalow is great for two people. Our bungalow was facing bush so it felt pretty secluded. It would have been ideal if we had a bungalow in front of the lawn. Those ones were positioned much better with a nice open view.
The kitchenette was handy although our ironing board and iron were both broken and only replaced on our second last night. The staff are lovely.

This place is gorgeous! I was so excited when I saw the wild wallabies running around everywhere. Seeing wild lorikeets and bats was almost as exciting. I wish we could have spent more time here. Well, I guess we'll just have to come back.
4.0
Very poor communications. Not for a solo traveler.
4.0
Self contained bungalow with comfortable bed and adequate kitchen facilities. Lacked any comfortable chairs/lounges, which was the main drawback.
2.0
There were some little ants and I got bitten by them. And couldn’t sleep well because they are very itchy. Need to do more pest control, please
2.0
The room was old, and not so clean. It smelt musty and like dirty feet. The bed was 2 single beds pushed together with a hard edge lump where they joined. There was no view whatsoever, definitely not worth the money.
