My recent stay at Raviz Kadavu was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite providing early notification to cancel a room, I faced non-cooperative behavior from the staff. Their refusal to accommodate a cancellation request, despite prior notice, speaks volumes about their lack of customer service. The delay in food service added to the frustration. Waiting endlessly for meals is unacceptable, especially when one is on a tight schedule or simply hungry after a long day. This negligence in service reflects poorly on the establishment's management and their commitment to customer satisfaction. To exacerbate matters, the mishandling of lost belongings, particularly books, is utterly disappointing. Not only was there a failure to respond promptly, but the lack of accountability demonstrates a disregard for guests' belongings and their overall experience. Overall, my experience at Raviz Kadavu was marred by pathetic service, uncooperative policies, delayed food service, and unresolved issues with lost belongings. I would strongly advise against considering this establishment for any future stays, as they have failed to meet even the most basic expectations of hospitality.

Stayed one night before flying out from nearby airport! 20 minutes drive to airport; very comfortable room and excellent facilities, great value for money; dinner buffet was good!

The property is really beautiful at a beautiful location on river side. Standard room was neat and clean Staff very humble.Breakfast was good and affordable even through we didn’t have breakfast inclusive room. As it was our anniversary, they made it extra special by simple decorations in our room and a small cake. Pool area was nice too. Spa for me was too expensive so didn’t use. There were no welcome drinks . Check in check out very easy. Boat is too expensive, they should provide a reasonable option. Overall enjoyed my stay.would definitely come back.

The property was great with good rooms , nice service and spa. Lot of staff were very helpful- Frince(Cafe), Aslam and hashiq in front desk, chef prajith, shafique in spa and many more. We were very careful about eating and ate only inside the resort. Still, many in our group got food poisoning by eating in their cafe and suffered a lot. Our entire vacation got spoiled because of it. We couldn’t move out of bed. Very horrible vacation :(

The property needs maintenance. Staff needs training, and also learn to speak English. Rooms are pretty small, compared to the pictures of property online. There was a noice due to bad electric in my room, which kept me awake whole night. The staff doesn't seem to co-operate, but all they ask is 'how do you want to make payment'?.

Awesome place and good friendly staff and its really a lovely set up with abundance of natures greenery. Good part is the architect has kept in mind to cut mimimum of trees to make this place. Cleanliness is an area that can be improved

This is the type of resort which is only half way there... The rooms are clean but could do with an update. The pool area is lovely but they only have six sun loungers (I had to sunbathe on the grass)... River rooms on lower floors have palm tree view (river can not be seen as it’s behind the palm trees) Restaurant is good. Spa is nice and treatments very cheap. I was in Calicut for a wedding. The hotel was a good place to stay for this event (as held on site ) but I wouldn’t book it for a holiday.

A great location and very courteous staff. Food is excellent. But that is where it stops. The building is in need of repair, sheets and towels are dirty and smelling. Both white towels in my room had brown patches and I just couldn't think of using them. Although the staff is courteous, it took a long time to provide room service (We ordered just a couple of lime juices). I am not sure if the star rating for this hotel is justified given the amenities. The management better take note.

I had a slight problem with my sink. The hot water line was kinked, so it rusted and when I turned on the hot water, the faucet fell apart because of the pressure from the rust going through the aerator. I asked for it to be fixed and I think there was a language barrier. When I showed the front desk a picture of the problem 2 days later, then they sent the repair person to fix the sink. Overall I would go back again. A decent place to visit.

We had an excellent stay at Raviz Resort and Spa, Kadavu during our visit last week in early April 2018. What stood out for us is the serene location of the resort and their awesome service. Their staff at reception, travel desk, house keeping, restaurant, IT etc. was very courteous, responsive and customer focused.

The hotel had a great peaceful ambience even though it is right by the main highway that goes to Calicut city. We had a beautiful cottage by the water. My 5 year old son loved the pool and the house boat ride. The sea food at the restaurant was also amazing. What impressed me most about Raviz Kadavu were the staff. A special mention to the manager Jayakumar (and Arun) who went out of their way to help us, as my son got injured during play during our stay there. They helped us with their private car to the hospital and kept checking on us periodically to make sure we were doing fine. We also had to check out a day early and they were extremely considerate and helped speed up the process. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who plans to stay in Calicut and we will go back very soon !

One of the best place to stay in Calicut is Raviz Resorts.The place has a large expanse, right on the river bank, is beautifully built, like an ancient castle.The river view is mystic.It has a reasonable size swimming pool and a nice health club.One wouldnt miss anything staying here

Well trained staff who could provide good customer experience, the cottage room with the river view was very comfortable ! The buffet breakfast and lunch had number of items and variety to satisfy any palate. Overall a good stay worth the expectation.
