The location is nicely situated next to the slopes and convenient for people who want to enjoy winter sports. Hotel also has its own parking onsite with free valet. The balcony overlooked the slopes but it would’ve been nice to have chairs out there to sit and enjoy the sun. It’s hard to justify paying steep prices to stay here because it feels as though you don’t get anything back for what you paid, unfortunately. Our room was incredibly dry and hot and there was nothing we could do except open the windows wide all night. The room is also quite small. The room was also right next to where people play pool and the music and people were loud throughout the night. The breakfast is average given, again, what you pay for a night. The gym is small and has some essentials but misses the overall gym feel.
The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate any issues we had. Free shuttle service is nice to get you down and back from the center (restaurants and bars).

Although the building itself seems nice and the room initially looked nice, the trouble started when there was an incredible amount of noise and vibration around noon. At first I thought a very heavy truck was idling right in front of my window, but it turned out there was no noise from the outside.
After checking with the front desk, it turned out to be some machine in the kitchen. They asked the kitchen staff to turn it off, which 'fixed' the problem.
Around 22:00 (10pm) the noise and vibration started again and lasted about 30min. I asked the front desk again and they told me it was the kitchen ventilation system, but it wouldn't turn on anymore because the ktichen was closed now. I asked if it would turn on in the morning and they said they would put a note on the system not to turn it on.
All through the night I heard another machine turn itself on and off every 10 minutes or so, causing enough noise to wake me up.
And ofcourse at 8:15 in the morning the ventilation system was turned on again, making sleeping impossible.
Worst of all is the staff knows about the problem and they don't do anything to fix it. Room 101 (and probably 102 as well) is impossible to sleep in, yet they keep selling it to customers. Absolutely unacceptable !

I love the fact that it's by the slope. Ski in ski out. 5 walk to chairlift. If you like to be right by the night life this one is a drive away. But parking is no problem. Breakfast is decent. Overall 8/10 for me.

Was a beautiful hotel, our room (209) looked out over the mountains a ski slopes, was stunning. The only thing that let it down was the meal we had in the evening, was very expensive and the food was not that great. Over all though I would stay there again but would eat somewhere else

If you fancy a few days skiing thia is an ok hotel not fantastic but has enough soul to make it worthwhile . Whatst lets it diwn is more the surroundings , badly cleaned ( of snow) streets , lack of afterski atmosphere is the problem in Sierra Nevada . There is not much wrong with the slopes

the hotel manager and staff were very helpful and could not do enough for you. had a great choice for breakfast .you could ski direct to and from the hotel which was a bonus and collect ski passes from reception which save you going to the town square. it only took one hour and 15mins from malaga to the sierra nevada slopes as they have built a new toll road through the mountains whoooo . the nice thing about sierra nevada it is a real spainish family feel to it geat for a short break .

This is "old fashioned" Spanish 4* hotel with good size, clean rooms and bar, charming staff has truly awful food with dinner being the worst I've ever eaten. The adjacent 3* Lodge meets much higher higher standards.Good ski in- ski out location, sunny balcony partly shaded by tall trees that would be better cut down to open up the view
