Overall, the outdated facilities, poor service, and breakfast provided are something I don't want to remember. I had no choice but to stay here, but I cannot recommend it to others.

Overall the hotel was okay. There were a few issues that we found annoying and spoilt the overall experience of our stay. One was the elevator which was inadequate for the foot traffic. There are two set of stairs of which one set should be available to elevate the promblem. Two was the noise level which was unacceptabley high from a function. We will be not be staying at this hotel in the future

Booked room for 3 adults 1 child . Cups etc only for 2 . No basic plates bowels or microwave for heating baby’s food . Linen sheets and towels very thin . Had to ask for new towels that were on the floor even though room had new tiny milk delivered . Tissue box empty bin full but not emptied . Room booked said city view n partial ocean view … none of the above . Room above reception doors . Very noisey . Sorry won’t recommend or be back . So many more motels

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant - staff really friendly and attentive!
Nice quiet comfortable sleep.
Left a toiletry bag in basement parking and staff arranged to deliver it to me. A good experience all in all.

Great hotel. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Good location. Grocery store around corner. Adequate street parking when we were there. Parking in garage for fee, $10 I think. Would stay here again

A good motel in a very attractive spot. Good staff at reception and fine parking facilities. Otherwise pretty run of the mill. Would not be averse to be staying again but nothing stands out to give it preference at the price. Shower rather primitive.

Unfortunately we spent a lot of money to stay here and were extemely disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower was luke warm AT BEST! Would not recommend for the hefty price.
2.0
The staff at reception were very good. The room was appalling. The shower recess was mouldy. The heating system did not work - turned it up to 28c but no warmth. We almost froze. Only parking on-site was for a fee- you’ve got to be kidding. The restaurant food was mixed. I had a special steak which cost $44. That was very expensive as it was very ordinary. For a room which cost over $200 it was poor value. The bathroom was tiny. I would hate to have stayed there any longer. We were thinking of joining Accor, but the experience was so bad I would never join. Mercure needs to urgently upgrade their property. At best it is second rate.

Hotel room nice enough although average/small size
The TVs are good because it’s easy to cast your phone to them to watch Netflix etc on your own subscription.
The bathrooms are cramped but functional, good water pressure
Level 2, the first above the lobby has no view (only of pool area)
1 lift which can get busy at peak times: there are 9 floors including basements it can go to.
Parking is extra which isn’t made clear before you ask for it, and the spaces themselves are small so if you have a large 4wd you’ll struggle
Breakfast is the highlight. $20 per person for full hot breakfast plus a comprehensive continental buffet and drinks. You won’t need lunch.

I have stayed there before and would stay there again, staff very friendly, central to the shops, close to the Glasshouse Theatre so very convenient for shows etc.

excellent and improved room condition

My room was promoted as having a balcony - it faced a rooftop carpark. Curtains in the room were stained, and when I went looking for a tissue, there wasn't a box of tissues in the room. Overpriced.

The property is conveniently located to shops and restaurants and the foreshore.

Comfortable, clean, conveniently located with an onsite restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Secure undercover parking for an additional cost. We stayed here twice during February and both experiences were positive.

The property was well maintained and located in a good area with access to the facilities that Port Macquarie has to offer. The staff were all very pleasant and that makes the stay more enjoyable. I had diner in the hotel and I had one of the best steaks I have had in a long time.
