Bar closes at 2200hrs and even during the day would not serve on open terrace, so we were own own waiters. Room and breakfast good

Hotel is at very nice location by the lake, although my room had limited view to the lake. Easy access from the highway. I most likely will visit this hotel in the future. Reception is open until 23:00 and I just made it there before that, nevertheless the service was very good even at that time of the evening.

Arrived late 21:00 - the restaurant was closed already. My mistake I did not check.
Other than that, the hotel is fine and I have stayed there several times when travelling by car.
The hotel is by the A1 Road (so not in Riga centrum).
Hotel is by a lake.

Breakfast was really bad way under expectations! Restaurant overpriced and hotel room windows not sealed so heard the highway and they ran a tumble dryer next to my room
Have stayed about 1000 nights at hotel so i know what to expect

We are traveling a lot with dogs (dogshows) and lately Baltvilla changed their policy that 2 dogs cost almost more than 2 adults per night
Baltvilla was earlier more dog friendly hotel
I understand that few guest with bad behavior dogs could ruin whole room and wakeup whole floor every hour with parking
Think they should have record which guest with dogs are more welcome
Been there over 10 times, next travel i might pick another hotel
there are many around
Anyway, rooms are clean, easy parking, good breakfast
Wifi coverage could be better

Nice hotel just outside Riga. In the woods and on a lake. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and went the extra mile to make our time great. And it looked like that they enjoyed doing so. Which makes it double great!Very good value for money.Would absolutely recommend this hotel. (Or not because would like keep such a great place just for myself :) )

All quite good with the exception that a noisy private party on the main floor went on into the wee hours and our room was directly above.

Hi I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and would say hotel was clean, free parking was available and that was the big reason I have chosen this hotel as in outer skirts from the city. Staff was good and that’s what you need from any hotel.

This is a well managed, great hotel right on the lake Baltezers with great kitchen, reasonably equipped gym. Excellent breakfast is included in the price. The negatives: 1. gym is closed on Sundays, beds and mattresses were uncomfortable to our taste.

Hotel clean welcoming and simple. Luxury room best bet large has two small sized bathrobes and sleepers also kettle and few tea bags and coffee, at least something nice for a luxury sound. The other normal room without world luxury has none for a difference just a few euro, also very small with small bathroom. Restaurant okay. Girls waitresses learning fast. I like tea and usually I like lighter version of my tea after I finished pot I asking to add more hot water. It is normal everywhere except in this place. First day it was okay . Next day waitresses changed tactics, they don't add tea bags or loosed tea leaves to a teapot at all. They made tea in a different place and gave me tea without teabags to make sure I will order another one if I want more. Cheep thinking shame for a hotel like this, but I think Soviet Union mentality still active in this place. for a quick stop one night this place okay but no more than that. Around nothing to do. Beach has lots of mosquitoes and other bugs and no sand and it is very small and cold at August.

Wow! Who knew that this was an amazing kid-friendly resort. I think everyone had a little kid with them (I was traveling with my three year old). There was a playground and lake area. The restaurant had lots of space for him to play on the floor. Rooms were small, but the hotel was right off the highway which was great as we were just driving through...

Very nice hotel, near the lake, in the trees. 100 meter from the highway, 50 meters to the lake. Take 45 mins at least by public transport to get to the city center. Book Superior rooms in order to get the view to the lake side. Wedding ceremonies may spoil your weekends there (2 restaurants may be noizy).

This was my third stay at Baltvilla. Very beatiful location and not too far from Riga. Hotel staff is very helpful and courteous. I will stay there again when I came to Riga. Gatis E.

Very nice and pleasant place, accept the noise coming from the state road near by and fairly far away from center of town .

Good location for car travelers close to interchange Riga-Pskov-Tallinn. Beautiful nature, lake which is useful for swimming, extremely good (not cheap) restaurant, good value for money. Not recommended for Riga sightseeing tours because of long distance from city.
