Really close to universal. 5 min walk, if that. Lots of nearby restaurants. Hotel had a shop, vending machines, restaurants and room service. Spacious rooms. Themed rooms available as well. Smooth check in and out.

The rooms were clean, and USJ was just a couple minutes walk from the hotel. The staff was very friendly. But… we saw a giant cockroach on the coffee machine in the restaurant hosting the breakfast buffet - super gross! We decided against going back to the buffet and found breakfast elsewhere. If the roaches present in the daytime hours, imagine what it was like at night!

The hotel is very comfortable and is located near Universal Studios Japan and USJ CityWalk. The staff are friendly and resolved my issues. The room I booked was the AEGEAN STANDARD TWIN, which had enough space for my suitcase, and the view overlooked Universal Studios Japan. The room was quiet, tidy, and well-equipped. The only downside might be that there are no entertainment options once Universal Studios closes. I would be very happy to visit this hotel again.

My kids left dirty socks in the bed at night. When we came back our room, the cleaning service was done but the staff put the dirty socks in the middle of the eating table. I was very unhappy about it. I don’t mind if He/she put it anywhere else but the only table in the room for us to eat breakfast there.

Staffs are good and helpful. I have booked for 2 nights stay in this hotel for my visit to Universal Studio. The hotel is nearby USJ. However, we have to wait for long time to use the laundry facilities. There are only 4 washing machines and 4 drying machines in the hotel which is not enough for the guests. Imagine that everyone here must go to USJ. And it is a hot summer, we need to use washing machine after a vising USJ.

Convenient to universal studio. Just walk 8 mins. Some food quality of the breakfast like dim sum and takoyaki didn’t taste good. The laundry room waiting time, especially dryer is too long even though at midnight. Better install a coin change machine for convenience. As the 2nd floor corridor closed early. It’s troublesome for customers to take lift down to G/F and change another lift up to 2nd floor laundry room.

Great location if you want to check out Universal. Across the street from a train station so you can easily explore other parts of the city. Lots of dining options and it wasn’t uncomfortable for this solo female traveler. If you hate kids, don’t stay at this hotel. It is very much tailored for families. The noise level was tolerable despite all of the kids. They also have a laundromat. I believe it was coin operated.

Loved our stay here! We stayed in a room with 4 beds with ocean view. Spacious enough for family of four with two teenagers. City Walk and JR station is just a few min away and very convenient location for getting around. We took airport limousine bus from Itami Osaka airport which was 40 min ride. Bus stop was 9min walk from the hotel and we could easily walk even with super large luggage. Highly recommend for family.

We had a blast staying at Universal Port. The staff were friendly, the room was so clean every time we come back. It was spotless. The view from our room was beautiful cause the window was big. It was so close to USJ and the minions theme was so cute!

My daughter and I booked this hotel for our 2 days visiting USJ we were pleased that this hotel lived up to our expectations and fully deserved the reviews we read. We were lucky enough to receive a theme park view on a higher floor and arriving early we were allowed to check-in. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel

The checkin process was very smooth. We did a standard twin room with our visit. The lobby is minion theme and an awesome aquarium behind the checkin desk which for me made time fly while in line. The room was average. It did have a smell of the port (sea) when we first walked in but the room includes an air cleaner and good AC unit which took care of that problem. Definitely take advantage of the sun blocker curtains as in June the sun was beaming in the window at 4:30am! We included breakfast in our room rate and it was well received, although not as many options as the universal park front hotel that we stayed at a few days prior. There was also vending machines and a water/ice dispenser on our floor, although for me the water/ice dispenser was very hard to access as it was in a corner in a tight spot. Universal city and the train station just a few blocks east walk away. Watch the YouTube videos they really helped set my expectations before arriving.

Everyone was pleasant and accommodating from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I recommend winding down with a massage after a long day at universal. They are nice and listen to your needs and they are available to go to your room. Everything you could need or think you might need is available on the premises or at a walking distance from the premises so feel free to pack light ☺️.
