Stay was amazing, we really enjoyed it. Room, food, ambiance was amazing. However the service in bar was not up to scratch. However the man in charge of hot tubs was very friendly and helpful. Service at breakfast in Bonnies was very professional! Check in and check out experience was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful location, an absolute must on any visit to the midlands. Would reccomend for all types of visit, couples, family or like me travelling alone for work. All staff are fantastic and the rooms are so rustic yet comfortable

Beautiful hotel, impeccible view, great activities, and amazing, helpful staff. Only downside was the restaurant's slow service. Food delicious but the time frame between ordering and receiving food takes a while. Restaurants management seemed to be all over the place during breakfast. Loved the reception staff of the hotel and the snacks in the hotel was a great addition.

Great hotel, very good location for exploring the city. Room was spotless, tiny but perfectly adequate for a short city break and very good value. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Will recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

Excellent from start to finish

Overall a wonderful experience, location is very scenic and more importantly very quiet. Services were great. Spa was very good, gym has everything you need for a solid workout. Restaurant level of food was great.. only remark is their could be another dish or two on the menu. Without a doubt will stay again. Overall an A1 experience

Absolutely beautiful spot for our wedding anniversary.... staff really went out of their way to help us.... the bar manager was a gentleman of the highest order with customer service skills i havent seen in a very long time..... fantastic setting with beautiful views.... we will be back!!!

Lovely hotel, nice food, lovely outdoor heated pool, staff were lovely,rooms were clean and nice size. My only faults were the bar and dining staff apart from the main man out in the terrace bar he was flat out maybe if some off the younger staff had a training day with him they would learn a thing or two... But all and all we'll be back as the service didnt put us of the hotel.

Check in was a struggle, traveled almost 3 hours with my elderly grandmother (in her 90’s) to be told room was not ready (it was after 3pm!) no offer of a refreshment while waiting etc, my grandmother was tired & sore from sitting in the car for so long. Had booked two rooms & was told that each of the 6 adults staying would have a bed of their own (bunk beds - not an issue) neither of the rooms weee suitable & 2x adults ended up having to share a bed. Other issues with room which were sorted, thank you! Overall service was average, food selection average & just ok quality. Decor & facilities were really lovely, location was great, amenities good. Overall, all 6 of us enjoyed our stay, however could have been much better. Would like to give this hotel & others in the brand another try!

Amazing Hotel. Beautiful grounds and golf course. Restaurant was awesome. Room was perfect, right down to the record player and assortment of old albums. Friendly staff. Great heated pool

Great selection of activities. Food was fantastic. Staff were great, Greg in particular who runs the activities was brilliant to deal with. Will definitely be back. :)

Fab hotel, very comfortable with great facilities. Hot tubs were out of service. Staff in reataurant were very friendly, however, seemed like they lacked training. Poor table service, items missing from food orders, slow in returning to table. Breakfast food very disappointing.

the grounds here are absolutely stunning, the hotel and the room were also stunning and the food in bonnies was tasty along with the bubbly staff (bonnies). I just feel like I can’t not review here and let followers think it was perfect, because it is certainly picture perfect but unfortunately that’s where it ended for us at @glasson_lakehouse … I was so excited to bring my boyfriend down for a two night stay in this “luxury” hotel but so many basic needs were just missed. From the hot water been gone from arrival to check out where we were not notified before arrival this meant that most facilities could not be used to full potential, having to have cold showers after any activity just doesn’t cut it for us. From tripswitches going, no water to flush the toilet, no hot water our whole stay, no complimentary water in the room, phone in room not working and cigarette butts on our terrace…these are small basics that should not be missed also considering a hotel that charges an extortionate amount per night. Also no facilities we went to use seemed to be open for example hot tubs, games room and the most simple request was the bar. I know times are tough due to COVID having such an effect on the hospitality sector however paying customers should not be effected by this. This was not how I expected my stay to end nor have I ever giving a bad review about a place, however I can’t seem to get my head around how this hotel is in operation. A really superb location with magnificent views of golf course and lake. Room on ground floor with terrace and two lovely chairs outside unfortunately only windows to get to them!! No mirror in bedroom to dry hair, no bedside/reading lights. Food very good but service very poor. Lovely young students serving but not trained. All in all a lovely hotel but with teethimg problems. Would definitely recommend when these are sorted.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent 3 day stay here. The hotel and views are amazing, we'll definitely go back! Very friendly staff, even if there were a few teething problems with breakfast (which was delicious by the way!) but this is all new for all of us and the staff were doing their best and were amazing. Family room was huge! Very impressed overall and would highly recommend - we're already planning our next visit!
