3 day stay. Very nice room, very nice service. A+++

Breakfast wasnt open at all one day of my stay. When I went to the front desk to ask why breakfast wasn't open, they just stated I don't know.

Clean and check in was smooth. Breakfast wasn’t bad and they kept the stations clean

Great location (and price) for when you're visiting the Funny Bone near by. My room I believe was already renovated and it was spacious and clean. Only downside was there is/was no fan in the bathroom or mirror outside the one in the bathroom (which had very little lighting). Everything else was excellent

Nice quick overnight stay. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Nothing special but worked for a quick bite on our way out the door.

The staff was excellent, and the room space, beds, and bathroom were all fantastic. My room had a living area, and the furniture (sofa, chair, and lamps) was dated and worn. There were no USB or adapters in the rooms, which are typically on lamps. Also, we had a kitchenette and a tiny trash can in the entire living space.

Small pillows for a king size bed - very quiet

We booked last minute online, nice area,open clean room, and best of all ac was blowing cold air and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel was a little ways from the airport but it was one of the BEST hotels in Richmond!!!

Clean, quiet hotel. Comfortable bed. The staff members were kind. Only complaint I have is part of the hot breakfast items were cold.

The hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly. However the hotel itself was not good. My room reeked of old cigarette smoke, burnt hair, and just smelled dirty. The lamp/table combination was broken and propped in a corner, the floors throughout the hotel were stained. And the overall appearance of the hotel was that it receives the bare minimum in cleaning. Everything looked worn and dirty. And when I was leaving my room there was a random man on the floor in the small vending/ice machine room sleeping on the floor.

Tv didn’t work in the room

I called the day prior to see if we could check in early and was told yes, I asked if there is a charge to do so and was told no. When we checked in, I was charged without any mention and did not get a receipt of any kind. The person that checked us in was not overly friendly and did not seem happy at all. We had a reservation for three people, there were not enough towels or wash cloths so I had to go get more which the other person seemed irritated, I also asked for a spoon since they have the breakfast area roped off and that also seemed to irritate her. Our bathroom floor was dirty, which I didn’t notice until after my daughter had showered and walked on it. The room ac would not cool the room down from the temp it was when we got there. The halls and elevators felt like sauna’s and smelled weird. Breakfast was meh at best. Overall I would not stay here again. I have never stayed somewhere where I felt like any communication with the person at the desk was bothering them.

The staff was amazing and the room was very clean. The bed was pretty comfortable as well.

Quiet & Safe

Fantastic stay, had a great time and was close to many different shops and restaurants! Highly recommend!

Didn’t start out on the right foot. I ordered and paid for a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds in the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living area. When I was checking in, the lady at the counter tried to tell me it was a room with 1 king bed. She was argumentative about it so I showed her my confirmation. She then told me that they did not have any rooms available that I ordered. I told her that was a problem since we need to sleep 4. She “scrounged up” a king suite for us. I was frustrated that it got to that point. My reservation clearly stated what I ordered. The room itself was ok. The building is going through a remodel so there was dust everywhere (which is to be expected). Breakfast was not good. Eggs were cold and the other options were minimal.

Besides the remodeling in some areas, everything else was great.

I liked the setup of the room, the view, the staff service, the excellent cleaning crew for housekeeping, and front desk, accessibility to several attractions, restaurants, touristic locations, and to the university close by. I did not like the parking situation, when there are events at the pier, such events use the little parking this hotel uses, and leave the guests stranded for half the day, late into 11:30pm. This was a big concern.

The hotel was really nice. It's in a really area. The rooms are super clean and comfy. We never made it to breakfast which looked nice when we walked by. Only issues we had was the toilet is so low to the floor. And the pool was cloudy. It was nice and warm and you definitely smelt the chlorine. Overall, we'll stay here everything we come back.

Property currently under renovation - the underground garage and some areas within the hotel were covered in drywall dust. Ice machine broken on some floors and others did not have working vending machines.

I stayed here 2x (July 25-26 and Aug 8-9) as my family is making a cross country move and this is the halfway point. The 2nd time, I booked the wrong dates, which was my fault, so when I arrived I paid for a new booking. I still had the reservation for the wrong date, so I tried to change the date to when we would be coming down to close on our old house (Aug 27-28). I did book 3rd party, but I called both the hotel and the 3rd party to try to change the dates. 3rd party spoke to someone named Quay who said they changed the dates with no additional charge. I called the property the next day and they were unaware of the change. 3rd party site reached out on my behalf and they refuse to make the change without additional payment. They also refuse to refund me, even though I stayed twice and made payment for my mistake already.

Staff was very friendly and professional.

Front desk staff were ok super serious. I asked to switched my room for 2 queens and she laughed and said...impossible! The machine for the keys didn't work, breakfast was ok, same thing every day. Room were clean but some mold in the tub. Room attendant was super nice and sweet. Construction noise from 9 to 5pm, not pleasant!

Very outdated and smells like cigarettes in the nonsmoking room.
