We booked a hotel room but got a call that key cards weren’t working so we were upgraded to a cabin/cottage at no extra cost. Sounded good but it wasn’t. It turned out to be a mobile home park where we stayed in one of the units. We checked in at the front gate where we were handed a packet with keys and given directions. We had to make up the bed ourselves. It was not an upgrade

No internet or TV. They moved us because computers were down. No one gave us coffee for the morning nor did they answer the phone or call me back when I left a message. We were there to be at race track so our hours did not match their 8-5 only. Even when I called after hours number about tv etc they did not know anything.

This hotel is located inside of an RV park and the office closes at 5:00 p.m.
I arrived around 7:30 there was no sign on the door there was no one to ask a question. I was unable to check in. What a terrible experience. I did not receive an email from hotels.com letting me know that they had the office closing at 5:00 p.m..

We really enjoyed the Casita. I was a new experience for us living in a 55+ community and we loved the amenities.
One suggestion, we got off to a really bad start when at the gate we were not told specifically where we were to go. We went to the two story motel unit, lugged our bags up to the room and discovered that the keys we had were of the old design, not meant for these rooms. In the dark. We reloaded the car and found our way back to the entrance gate and then got straightened out.

Very quiet and secure location. Staff was very nice and helpful. Customer service at Fat Willie’s were very welcoming and foot was great!! Only down fall, we wish beds were bigger and room was more updated. Definitely worth the money.

Outside of Tucson , very nice community. Restaurant on site

This can be a good budget minded place to stay. The rooms are clean, and basic. Its not the Ritz Carlton but your not paying Ritz money either.
The one thing that has been frustrating after staying here twice is the restaurant is difficult to go to as they close at like 7 pm...
The cleaning staff had the room clean when we arrived, but it was difficult to get fresh towles and shampoo refilled for.our 3 day stay.

I DID NOT STAY HERE. I arrived to locked gates around a gated community. How the HELL am I supposed to check in when the gates are locked and the guard shacks are empty? I went to the Springhill Suites in Tucson for the night.

I was given what they call a casita which I believe was an upgrade from what I booked. It was well appointed, super clean and had separate rooms. I didn’t need the kitchen in this trip but is good to know this type of accommodation is an available.
I arrived at the property after 5:00 which is when the office/reservation desk closes which I didn’t know. I don’t believe there was any information about this on the website or confirmations I received. I went back to the front gate and they had my keys and other info ready for me. He was also extremely helpful when I called up with another question.

Unfortunately, due to a power outage in the area, we were not able to stay here. Thankfully they called and notified us of the situation and offered to cancel our reservation and refund our money back, before we arrived at the Hotel.
Our previous stay here was great! Clean, quiet and safe.

Very simple and older rooms but in good conditions. Smells somewhat old too but super good service and clean

Seasonal storm hit. Everything down and that can be expected, but the back up generator didn’t have enough juice, I guess, bc there was no Internet or lights except in bathroom. Air conditioning did come back on after 10 minutes but struggled much of the night to keep the room cool. The room refrigerator thawed out and ice that was on the bottom of the freezer melted and made the floor wet. I never saw any staff except for the gate guard who gave me my room key and directions. I won’t return.

Didn’t get to stay long since we checked in after midnight and left by 7am. But the hotel room was very clean. The beds were a tad small for 2 people but they were comfortable all the same. 10/10 would stay again

Enjoyed the nice, peaceful close-cation. No children running around yelling, friendly people, clean room and clean pools/hot tubs. Extremely safe with a gated community. Wonderful stay. Would book here again.

This is a 55 over living community with a hotel on the property, it was nice and clean, several pools and activities. The people that lived there were very nice, I don’t recommend bringing small children unless they are very quiet , we had some rude comments about our grandkids. Restaurant/bar was good . We will be back

This hotel closes the registration desk at 5:00. I’ve never heard of such a thing. As a result, we were not able to check in and had to make alternate reservations

This place was amazing. We stayed on the first floor, room 109, which has been upgraded. The pool area is amazing. 2 large pools, and two large hot tubs. There is one covered pool. I would say the covered pool area should be cleaned better (the surrounding walking area) and the shower has a lot of buildup on it in the enclosed pool area. Regardless of this, it’s amazing. We just used the outdoor pools and spas. There is a big fitness center. There are Sauna rooms which were really cool to find! Fat Willy’s, the restaurant, was delicious and far exceeded my expectations. The grounds surrounding this hotel are beautiful and the staff is friendly especially friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I would highly recommended this place and stay here again.
