Not close to I-75. About 1/2 an hour away. Other than that, this was clean, friendly, had a nice hot breakfast from 6-9. The beds, linens, towels, all new. Lots of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

The room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was disconcerting that the outside side door didn’t lock. That was a huge safety concern. This was a good value for the price.

Pros: looks like recent remodel, lobby was clean and modern. We got a room on the first floor. The room had new laminate flooring, dressers, shower looked like it had new acrylic walls. the area is quiet and safe. breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee, etc. Cons: Although the bed had new comforter the bed itself sank in the middle. I had to sleep near the edge of the bed all night.

The staff were friendly. However the rooms are not cleaned properly especially the bathrooms. The towels and linens are always old with dirty stains and markings. The microwave had old food that was obviously left inside it from the previous guests. The drawers and dressers were dusty and the bed was uneven and springy. They need to invest in effective housekeepers as it appears as it’s the owners doing the housekeeping. It has the ability to be a good budget stay but cleanliness is very important!

Not immaculate but clean. Bed was too soft for me. I prefer very firm mattresses so don't fault them. What i really liked was how friendly everyone was and would stay there agsin on my next trip to Rome.

Rooms were not very clean, we had to switch room at 1130 pm because of a leak in the bathroom light/exhaust fan. Tub had been re stained but had smushy sections in it. On a positive note they did replace the nasty smelly from carpet tovinyl flooring.

Super clean, well appointed property with friendly, helpful staff. The lobby and rooms are decorated with photos of local scenery and attractions to add a unique touch to the place, although La Quinta, Rome, GA stands out for other reasons also. My modern, nicely decorated room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and although it was the highlight of the furnishings, everything else in there was of super high quality and intuitively designed for a comfortable and convenient stay. The parking lot is well thought out, well lit, and, complete with a two-bay electric car charger. The breakfast area was well stocked with delicious hot items and healthy options such as yogurt and fruit. I will definitely be staying here again.

All these hotels are charging an extra $100 for possible damage to the room and are slow to inspect and slower to refund the $100 hoping that the customer will forget it and they make an extra payment of $100. We are getting screwed by these people. You should forbid them from doing this is they want to use your reservation service.

Our room was fantastic, we loved it. The restroom as well great. It looked as if it just got remodeled VERY recently. Water pressure was great, Fantastic detail of the soaps in the shower, water pressure was excellent. Room super big and very nice and comfortable. We loved our room.

The staff was nice but what I noticed is that there is no cleaning crew, it is a family that lives there that does not clean like hotel rooms should be. The floors had dirt and sticky stuff on it, liquids splashed on the walls, paint chipped on walls and doors, bathtub with big chunks out of it, door rim broken, pillow stains, mirrors were dirty, just disgusting! I went out and bought cleaning supplies to clean the room and got my own rags and towels to dry off with. Will never stay there again! I will post photos!

Good basic hotel, fine for an overnight stay. Surprisingly good breakfast offered. Rooms were kinda odd, tiniest bathrooms I’ve either been in, especially for a king sized room?

Gentlemen at front desk very polite and attentive. Entire property needs updating. Shower curtain stained… hall carpet worn. Dusty room. Top of tv very dusty. Just did not feel clean in room. Breakfast was very good but no bacon. Workers outside in white truck had very foul odor when getting luggage out of car. Did not feel safe then.

Dog next door barked all through the night. Computer issues at check in and check in process took over 30 minutes. Driveway into hotel super steep and vehicle bumper scraped entering and leaving hotel. Parking lot is tiny and limited parking. Hotel staff must live on premises because the smell of their international food cooking permeated throughout hotel floor at a late hour (after typical dinner time).

The property was pretty run down. The showers were very gross, shower heads hardly sprayed. There was long strands of dark hair in the covers. You could hear anything going on outside your room. At one point someone’s alarm went off on their phone for about 20 minutes and you could hear it the entire time. The halls and stairwells were dirty and smelly. Next time will pick a little more carefully.
