The service needs to be improved. I asked the receptionist twice for my bottles of water but no action done. I gave up. The website infos should also be updated. Spa and fitness facilities were not available. List of fees of services offered should also be updated. Water leakage from the toilet should be fixed. Food choices for breakfast are okay. WiFi internet connection was ok.

I have a bad back and my first room the bed was too hard. They let me find a room with a softer bed.

I stayed here for 5 days, and the free breakfast was good. There was a combination of Western and Asian food. It is situated in a densely populated area, and the room adjacent to the street are a little noisy, but becomes a little more quite after 10 PM. It is about a 800 meter walk to Starbucks and the U.S. Embassy. Starbucks is inside the Exchange Square build, and inside has a Hamburger restaurant and Supermarket. The Central Market is right around the corner on the way to the night market then you are at the Mekong River walk. I paid $17.00 USD per night for a room with a double bed and bathroom, so if you are traveling on a budget, like me, traveling solo, you may want to check the Hotel Asia!!!

I stayed at this hotel many times. The facility is a bit run-down but the room and the common areas are clean.

Room are clean but the airconditioner are window unit instead of split unit. So the air is not so cold. Buffet breakfast are good but serve the same menu everyday. Walking distance to the Central Market for hawker food and shopping.

The Asia hotel is older, but has had some renovations. I was only there 1 night. When I found the room was a smoking one, the manager changed it right away for me. Very clean. The balcony was old but fun to step out onto and see the street. It’s a very busy area with uneven sidewalks, but there is a new Sorya Mall about 3 blocks away...and I ate at a little food place across from the hotel...Roast chicken with a bit of salad...very good.

This is the second stay at this hotel. The facilities are a bit run-down, but everything is clean and tidy. Staff takes care of guests well. The room is spacious and well-lit. Hot water is strong. A/C has no temperature control, so manual operation is required.

My experience has been problem free over the past six years I have been coming here.

The room is a bit smelly but they clean and change linen everyday. Not all but there are few rooms facing Monivong Blvd with balcony. That room has a good view and feel comfortable.
Breakfast menu is same everyday and no hot meals but you can order "Pho" in the breakfast and ofcourse it's free. The taste of Pho is pretty good.
This hotel is located near Central market and Sorya Bus terminal. And there are lots of restaurants, supermarket, convenience stores around the hotel. Riverfront is a bit far but if you prefer local place I can recommend this hotel than the other hotels where around riverfront.

The hotel itself doesn't look horrible but the staff are some of the pushiest people you'll meet. There is no service with a smile. It's just service with a give me money attitude. At the restaurant the guy who took my order took a dollar from me when I gave him change. I asked him why he took a dollar and then I said you know tipping is suggestive and you, the worker don't just take money like that. Sure a dollar really isn't much to me but that practice of forced tipping is frowned upon, even in the west. Keep in mind, tipping is not customary in Cambodia, or Asia in the whole.
The room itself isn't much to look at. Not very clean but housekeeping was efficient.
Also, I booked the round trip bus tickets to Angkor Wat, in Siem Reap with them. The wall had the prices listed at $8 one way. The guy charged me $10 and said oh, "the $8 is the slow bus, you don't want that. $10 is faster, free water and toilet." Of course I paid $20 for round trip, and of course it was a lie. No water and on the bus back, there was no toilet and it stopped every 30 minutes to pick up rural farmers on the street. Express bus? I think not. It took 7 hours to get back instead of the 5 hours as stated.
The best part of the hotel was the restaurant on the ground floor. The food is good but as for the rest, I suggest you go look for another hotel

For a 2.5 star hotel I was pleasnatly surprised. The staff was friendly and cordial during my stay. There is a security guard at the recption area as well to monitor hotel traffic. The room was clean and the sheets were very clean. The hotel is aging though. You will note the carpet is worn and the bathroom is equipped with a portable hotwater heater, that you must switch a button and wait one minute to gain hotwater. There is a balcony to the room, that faces the roadway, that can be niosey at night until about midnight. the breakfast was included with the hotel fee, but i did not take advantage of the service. There is a TV, but the channels are somewhat grainy, but viewable. The door is equipped with a deadbolt, as well as a push lock on the door knob. There are no sprinkler systems in the hotel, but there are smokeéheat sensors, or that`s what it looked like to me. As well as fire extinguishers in the halls. However, the hotel is mainly concrete, so fire spreading excessively may not be so fast. Unknown to me, until my arrival, there is a KFC just before the main lobby area. The hotel also has fridges where they have pop, beer, juice.....Also in the room are mini fridges with a few pop, beer, juice, but you can take them out and store your own supplies in them. If you are a backpacker or a thrifty traveller and you are not looking for amenities of a 4-5 star hotel, then this place is suitable. The Central Market, a great place to barter and buy gifts,is a 5 minute walk.
