Upon checking in we were given our room keys. Proceeded to our room and start to go inside and there were people and their belongings inside the room already which created a VERY awkward, and potentially dangerous situation. The hotel clerk gave us keys to the wrong room. Accidents happen but this is just the one thing that can’t ever happen. Additional process should be put in place to ensure that this mistake is not a possibility

We were disappointed in the condition of the hotel after reading positive reviews. The hotel seemed run down and smelled badly. The elevator was broken the first day we were there. However, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The furniture in the room was dated. The breakfast area was very small with the basics of waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal and bread options. For the price of the hotel and the reviews we read, we were disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Its not high class for sure, dont expect anything stylish, but it has everything that one needs for few nights in LA. Rooms are super spacious, beds are big and comfortable, fridge is huge, air condition strong… Sleeping is nice, quiet neighborhood. Only breakfast is not so good. Few options yes, lots of coffee and juice, but no vegetables and fruit. Could be improved. In overall, would come back again for sure! Reception staff very kind and helpful

Really liked this hotel. Not super updated, but clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Room was larger than average with a kitchenette. Breakfast was great, I really liked the strawberry waffles. Parking was a garage shared by neaby hotels, felt safe and was a very short convenient walk to the hotel front door.

Beds were not comfortable for Comfort Inn. Had 2 separate reservations because we decided to go a day early and had to transfer out of first room no special accommodations made for us,really inconvenienced the next day. Parking is 10 charge ridiculous.

After reading numerous reviews and being on the fence about booking here to the questionable neighborhood, parking situation and overall appearance, I booked 2 nights here. Overall, the hotel served very well for its purpose of sleeping and showering. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, but the bed was comfortable, room was spacious and shower water pressure was adjustable for your preference. There was a full sized fridge and the balcony overlooked the pool. When looking at a map, the location doesn't look ideal; however, at no point during my stay did I feel unsafe or was worried about the surrounding area. The hotel was located in a little culdesac with construction of a new hotel happening across the way. I did not see a single person who appeared houseless on the street. The parking garage is not connected to the hotel, but again, the area did not feel unsafe while walking the >40 steps from the parking garage to the main lobby of the hotel. Breakfast was your standard continental breakfast, waffle makers, muffins/breads, cereals, eggs and sausage patties, etc. Overall, great place if you would like to visit LA without paying the costs of LA. Only 15 minutes from Manhattan Beach and 45 minutes to Universal Studios Hollywood.

1) parking was full, they rather have the customer driving all night rather than being honest about the parking situation. 2) The room in question had a draining problem, water was leaking and I almost fell was a very scary situation especially during the night. 3) The bathtub was not draining properly. It was full of water. (dirty water) 4) The question becomes what are you going to do about this awful experience. I am requesting a full refund! It's not fair that the customer has to deal with these problems.

This hotel is in a poor area with zero security. The shared parking garage is disconnected from the hotel forcing you to trek your belongings along the street to the hotel. The facility itself is not adequately staffed and the buildings and rooms are old and outdated. I left after being there for an hour and went to another hotel.

Wendy checked is in..she was great and very friendly. They have breakfast everyday. Standard but very good. The rooms are large with a full fridge in them. I worked stay here again.

Nice hotel, but the breakfast buffet was chaotic. Everything crammed into a tiny room, including 2! waffelmakers. So people waited for waffles, while everybody else had to move around to get food. A better layout would do wonders

MRS. MARINA VERY KIND AND HELPFUL AT BREAKFAST TIME. ALSO DE GUYS IN THE FRONT DESK VERY KIND. IT IS NEAR TO RESTAURANTS. SAFE PARKING BUT NOT IN THE PROPERTY. ELEVATOR OUT OF SERVICE ALL THE TIME (WE STAYED 3 NIGHTS). THEY CHARGE A DEPOSIT FOR EACH ROOM AND I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND. ALREADY PASSED 15 DAYS.

The beds were fine clean. The towels were fine clean bathroom, seem clean carpeting was worn and had some stains people obviously staying there that just don’t have any consideration to take care of places that are not theirs the shower. The parking garage was close, but still had to walk on the street for two minutes before entering through the lobby and there was some shady people hanging out when we got there. It’s a cul-de-sac dead end not sure what they were doing there, but wasn’t the most comfortable.
