Very nice hotel in a great location, easy to take the train to either Pompeii or Capri etc. Also right on the boardwalk which is perfect for night walks and restaurants.
Charming older hotel, breakfast area was amazing.
Issues, in my room the TV and air con would not turn on

The area around the property had a lot of graffiti and was dirty with trash. Felt unsafe.

The rooftop terrace had an incredible view and was so modern. The breakfast was decent. The rooms need updating. The washroom had no counter space nor were there any hooks to hang wet towels. Beach was just steps away. Beautiful hotel. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.

What a gem of a hotel! Old grandeur with beautiful architecture but modern home comfort.
We had a triple family room which was huge! Beautiful big shower in the bathroom with comfortable beds and a view of the beach from our first floor window.
Breakfast had a good selection with a breathtaking view of the Bay snd Vesuvius.
Rooftop bar was fantastic and whilst the pool was tiny, it was great to sit in and loom st the view
We had the best time in room 110!

Great staff. Great hotel. Great facilities. Great location. The only thing that was annoying (which sounds petty) was the toaster at breakfast which only took 4 pieces at a time and took so long. Don’t know why they can’t just have the normal revolving toaster.

Check in was very straight forward and staff were really friendly
Breakfast was nice and varied
Balcony area spacious and well catered

Overall a nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay, hotel is pretty, staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with lovely views. The rooftop are was great but the pool is a lot smaller than advertised. Our room was a bit basic and bathroom needed a refurb but we didn’t spent much time in our room. Good base for Pompeii and surrounding area, close to good restaurants, train station and cable car. Would stay here again. Parking close by in underground car park.

I could not fault the location, cleanliness and a majority of the staff were fantastic. However the photos didn’t not live up to my expectations. Wonderful sea view from the room but balcony was not big enough to sit out on as well as having no furniture for its use anyway. As a multi national traveller beware there are no drinking facilities in the room other than water. No coffee, tea or kettle whatsoever. Pool is quite small than the photos suggest. The worst hit is that there is no hotel shuttle or train of you have an early or late arrival and on average for a taxi or car it is 120.00 one way to / from the hotel to the airport which is madness.

I will start from the positives - front desk staff was wonderful , nice, and extremely helpful.
Now the negatives and I don’t even know where do I begin. They gave me the worst room I assume, it was small, old, and the bathroom looked like something from the 90s maybe then it would’ve wowed. Like even the communal bathroom at the rooftop had better conditions . Showers were full of steel from old beds, very hard to use I almost burnt myself on night one as it wasn’t working properly. One of the towels they’ve given me was in stains - thought I was going to throw up. The rooms are said to be sound proof and yet you can hear EVERYTHING whether from streets or “neighbours” taking showers. Not to mention people talking at the hall. I didn’t even have a kettle on my room, so couldn’t make either a coffee or a tea. The fridge was really small too . Now I don’t know if all the rooms like that or they’ve given me such awful, old room, but I’m reviewing MY own experience. On night one I went to the hotel restaurant thinking I could try some of their food - the waiter was acting as if he was annoyed that I came over and wanted to eat , when I asked him to explain what one of the dishes is as I wasn’t sure because we didn’t have this particular fish in our country he just blankly looked at me and said - I don’t know how to explain it. In the room I was essentially only sleeping because I couldn’t stand it - a 4 star hotel is not like this. Breakfast was awful too . Theywouldntevenrefil

They put a family of four with two kids in a room that had mold. We smelled it when you opened the door. We asked immediately the front desk to put us in a different room but they didn’t have available rooms. Ernesto (front desk) admitted that he knew the room had mold issues but he was told that it was fixed. He was very apologetic. We woke up with headaches and the next day they gave us another room. The hotel rooms are old, the hallway carpets are ripped and dirty with stains. Air conditioning and toilets in both rooms did not work properly. It’s definitely not a four star hotel (maybe 2 star at best. Very disappointed in our experience at this hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Exceptionally clean. Wonderful front desk staff were so helpful and kind. Amazing breakfast with breathtaking views. I will definitely return.

Staff were exceptional, bed was large and comfortable, bathroom was clean, aircon worked, had issues with wifi in the room which meant the TV didn’t connect and the lack of signal in the room made our phones unusable- however staff were very helpful and tried their best to fix. Pool was smaller and colder than anticipated, but had gorgeous views. Food and drinks were extortionate but many restaurants nearby. Beach just outside the property.

A very nice hotel, everything is renovated and clean, breakfast on the terrace was my favorite part, the view is spectacular.
The location in front of the beach is very good for walking along the entire boulevard.

Hi. All things mentioned above are good. Staff are excellent. Surroundings too and it’s a really good place as a base to tour around.
There are Things that can be improved.
Bath tub felt a bit narrow. Position of the shower head is in the middle which could be moved to one end.
The TV is so far from the bed. Also not sure if it was our issue but we couldn’t log into apps like Netflix etc.
more vegetarian options at the restaurant would help too.

The staff was exceptional. Our room our perfect.
We had dinner at the hotel. There was a private event plus 200 tourists. They sat us in the breakfast room and made us a prefect dinner. So delicious. Very kind to do this for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice location with a great sea view, looking across the bay of Naples. Good selection of breakfast foods. Room very spacious with a living room area too.

Amazing rooftop bar terrace with view of Mt. Vesuvius

This place is all for location. The guest house was clean and well cared for. Each room had a bathroom and up to date shower. The staff were great. The only two drawbacks were the noise and the overwhelming smell of mothballs (likely to protect the cool tapestries hanging around the reception). The place is right over several restaurant so street noise didn’t quiet until after 2 and the rooms next door were extremely audible - especially when they were talking in the bathroom which our neighbors did at 7am. Otherwise I would recommend if you could get it cheaper than the other hotels around.

I didn’t stay at this hotel
I chose to pay for nothing and l forfeit my money and stay at a different property.
Hotel has NO !!! Parking and is on a very very busy street. The hotel expects that you park at a far away parking lot at your expense.
Area NOT safe to walk.
They won’t give me money back👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Big room, clean and friendly staff. The breakfast was great and with a perfect view to the sea.
Wifi was bad and also no hot water in the shower. If you are using a car, you need luck to find space on the street (with meters). There is an option to park on a garage, 6-7 minutes away by walking

Close to rail, easy travel to and from other centers

The hotel was no where near what it claim to be. It gave a Sorrento location but was actually an hour away. Taxis every day would have been expensive and a bus drive to and from woods be a huge pain.

Nice and clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very nice view at the breakfast buffet and rooftop. Close to train station.

We took the train to Castellemare and this *gorgeous* hotel is right around the corner from the train station (a 4 minute walk). It's right on the water, with a cute breezy decor -- it's from 1874!! Gorgeous beveled glass in the lobby, a gorgeous rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the coast and a panoramic breakfast room with the most delicious options. It's a 15 minute taxi ride to Pompeii, a funicular ride to the top of the mountain, or a short train ride away from the more discussed cities of the Amalfi Coast (Sorrento & Positano etc). Great staff, great location-- *GREAT* hotel.

Lovely hotel. The room was spacious and the view was fantastic - views of Vesuvius and the harbour. Short walk to the train station for a 10 minute train ride to Pompeii. Breakfast was great and the local area had plenty of good restaurants.

Love the hotel, the location and the service. Highly recommended. The staff is great.

Fab hotel Amazing terrace and the superior room with a view was superior. The elderly gentleman on reception was extremely helpful when we were trying to book a train to Rome. Amazing boutiques in the town but its a resort for Italians rather than tourists as very few restaurants had English menus.
