Free breakfast was confusing. You received a $12 pp bill by a waitress for a self-serve breakfast with a tip expectation. Waitress and front desk then explains that the breakfast will be charged to your credit card but After you checkout, the hotel will remove the breakfast charge. Still haven’t checked on this nonsense. Even if the hotel did remove the charge, this is still a terrible “free breakfast” process for hotel guests.

A great stay! The front desk was welcoming and kind. The only thing I suggest is vacuuming under the beds more often. I found a half smoked black and mild under there. Since an incidental fee is charged, I may have been charged if I had not found it.

Hotel was quiet and clean. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. The area was right off of Rt95 with many other chain hotel options but I can recommend this hotel as a convenient clean location.

As a lifelong traveler and Hotels.com customer who travels frequently with family, but especially on a regular basis for business, I am happy to say that this was one of the best hotels and customer experiences I've had in a very long time. The hotel and front desk manager, Thomas/Tom was a major reason! He went out of his way to accommodate my son and I, who were in town all weekend for Cal Ripken little league tournament! Cannot thank Tom and his team enough for all they did to help us and make us feel so welcome and appreciated - as a Hotels.com AND Hilton Honors customer!!!!!

Overall, I thought this was a great location with convenient food options.

There's nothing wrong with this property's location and the condition was generally okay (although there was some water damage in our bathroom, inadequate ventilation, and low water pressure - at least on the 4th floor).
This Hilton Garden Inn seems to think they're fancier than they are. Charging $3 for bottled water left in the rooms (mini-bar style) and exorbitant fees for items available in the pantry at the front desk - still not terribly unusual. But do know that Wi-Fi isn't free unless you sign up for their rewards program, and then you only get their basic speed (which was enough to stream on a Roku stick). Otherwise, it's $4.95/day for hi-speed wi-fi.
What earned them the 2-star overall rating, however, is the breakfast scam. I booked through Hotels.com and paid an extra $10 on top of the nightly rate for breakfast to be included. Their breakfast setup is an 80s or 90s style choice of buffet or a la carte, done table style. I told the front desk AND the restaurant staff that we had pre-paid for breakfast and was advised that it would be taken care of at checkout.
I was charged separately for breakfast at checkout and when I showed the clerk my Hotels.com receipt indicating breakfast was included, she told me "we don't do that" and indicated it was my fault for booking through a 3rd party site. I left and called Hilton's corporate customer service number and was basically told the same thing. I do NOT blame Hotels.com for this.

They went quite well. Even though it was only for one night. Prefer the Hilton hotels for future trips

Hotel is showing its age. Bathroom is old style tub and terrible lighting. Housekeeping in room was very good. No complimentary breakfast It cost $12 which is ridiculous. Plenty of very nearby restaurants probably less expensive. Terrible complimentary coffee in the lobby during morning only. Don’t trust cleanliness of coffee maker in room. Parking spaces are way too narrow. A 6 out of 10 overall at best. TRU By Hilton hotels beat this one hands down.

Tom at the front desk went above and beyond to greet us and make us feel welcome. His helpful dining recommendations were excellent as well. Kudos!

the king suite does *not* have a separate room as described which was disappointing since we were traveling with a little kid and dogs. the pool was absolutely packed - way above occupancy levels - we left after 10 minutes of trying to swim with our son. the staff was nice, the hotel was up to date and clean. just disappointed we weren’t accommodated the way we were expecting.

We didn’t have any issues and it was a great experience.

The lobby was incredibly hot and humid, no air conditioning was on and all the doors were propped open for “ air flow” . This made eating extremely uncomfortable considering my the amount of flies landing on you and your food. Bottles of water in the room were $3 EACH !! For a Hilton property I was incredibly disappointed. Will not return !

Decent overall. Staff was friendly.
We were surprised to see staff in our rooms stripping the beds before we checked out (and before check out time) with our personal items still in our rooms.
Doubt we would stay here again with so many other options in the area.
2.0 / 5.0
The staff did not follow up on requests to fix things (i.e, remote) in the room.

The lobby had a horrible smell. Also near the elevstor. I was told there was a continental breakfast and when Iwent down i was told in a nasty way there wasnt one. The receptionist was rude and a little unprofessional

Don't do it. The ratings and pictures make this place sound good, but it is a hot mess. We had a room block for our baseball team and whenever families would call to reserve a room the hotel staff could not find our block. Then the hotel cancelled the rooms in error the day before we were all scheduled to check in. The wrong family was sent the cancellation emails. Everybody had to call back to have their rooms re-booked before they were sold out. Customer service is non-existant. If you have any issues, big or small, they are not going to help. Beds are super creeky and loud, our air conditioner rattled on and off all night. A family on our floor got locked IN their room (locking mechanism malfunctioned) and it took the hotel over 30 minutes to get them out. All they had to do was get permission to let them out through the adjoining room and it took the hotel 30 minutes to figure this out. The pool was really tiny, and both treadmills were broken in the fittness room. The only positive was cleanliness and location, but you should get more than bare minimum expectations from a Hilton.

It was ok not the greatest. The hotel was hot and humid throughout the entire public spaces. The breakfast buffet was extremely limited for the $12 charge. No luggage carts around and when I asked the rude lady at the front desk for one, she told me they must be up on the floor with no resolution

Check in person was wonderful. The room looked like it could use a little refresh but overall was fine.

Spiders crawling across the bed, Coffee maker didn't work

The price for the buffet breakfast was ridiculously high and definitely not worth it.
It was comparable to the free breakfasts offered at other hotels, such as Marriott.
In addition, it is disappointing to be required to ask for a room cleaning. Although I did, I didn't get it
