We stayed here last year and it was ok, but very little space to put clothes and stuff. We thought things might be better this year, unfortunately still not enough space. This time there was stupid parents totally ignoring there young children screaming, and running around the pool and splashing other holiday guests. The kid’s should be in the small pool, but the parents just let the kids do what they wanted to do without any care for there safety and letting them dive in and out of the big pool. Where is the staff, who should be monitoring this behaviour.

Our stay at the Ibis was fantastic. Good location, good staff the pool was a good size, plenty of umbrellas and sun beds. Quiet resort with enough restaurants nearby and the beach was only about 7 mins.

We stayed here 15 nights, room is small but everything else is good. The pool is a nice size and no shortage of sun beds or umbrellas. The staff are really friendly, we had a lot of laughs,nothing to much trouble, you only have to ask.

We liked the location of hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Staff was friendly. Room could have been better. No shampoo, dental kits etc were provided.

It’s a hotel value for money. The room size is small with everything you need. The breakfast exceeded my expectation given the room price was very economical. Free parking available. You can get to Kata beach on foot within 12 minutes.

My 6 year old daughter and i had a wonderful stay here. The staff were so helpful, friendly and polite and could not do enough to make our stay perfect. The pool was fantastic- very quiet and clean. The food was lovely. Location too was brilliant- very close to restaurants and a shop, laundry facilities next door and a very short walk to the beautiful beach. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only thing I would suggest to improve the amenities is that we only had a small wardrobe so there wasn’t much room to put away our clothes. We had a fabulous stay here - thank you for a great holiday.

Small room, small toilet/bathroom, amenities very very basic - 3-1 shampoo/body wash, hand wash, shower cap, that’s it. Pool okay. Breakfast buffet is very very limited, see pic only get to eat fried rice, There’s shuttle to the beach on timings. About 5-10mins walk to the beach, passing road so not okay if got kids to carry or walk. Hotel and room are clean. Reception and dining staff okay but not very helpful, majority looks unhappy, expecting more since only a handful of guests, Low season. Experienced blackout in the area and hotel has generator only for basic lights, endured it for about 3hrs, no apologies. Had to go out as it’s hot inside the room w/o ac. Nearby got restos, family mart, souvenir shops. Also just outside hotel there is a good massage/spa. So many other hotel/accommodation options in the area, choose well. Maybe other Accor hotel.

We stayed a week with breakfast included. The hotel is in good condition, breakfast is ok and many food choices. Room is small and only used for sleeping. 10 min. walking distance to Kata beach, 30 min walking distance to Kata Noi and to Karon beach. Plenty restaurants around, street vendors, night market and street market within a 5 mi. walk. Nice swimming pool!

I thought this was an excellent hotel. Staff all very happy to girls and full of smiles - amazed considering the rudeness of some of the other guests. The pool is wonderful, and although a fair way from the beech the area was nice as well. Bus to phuket town and back ran from right outside the hotel. Bed comfy, roof a tad small, wifi good and worked well mainly. Didn't eat more than a spag Bol in the hotel so can't comment really on the food.

I am a young undergrad student who is studying/traveling around South East Asia. With that being said, I am very budget conscious and have a "backpacker" like mentality. I chose Ibis as a vacation spot as my mother was coming to visit from abroad. We were completely satisfied with everything from the first impression (service, room condition, common areas, restaurant ect.) The location is perfect, as its a 5-10 minute walk from Kata Beach, and this its located right on the main road. This is by far the nicest hotel that I have stayed at in Asia for the price.

hotel was ok it's just the front desk staff thats a big turnoff, english was just terrible, customer service skill was almost none existent too many unrelated questions being asked and not helpful at all when we ask questions.

Great hotel if your just looking for somewhere basic to stay, the hotel is clean and comfortable. There is not a lot of space for storage - only six hangers for clothes and no drawers!!! However would def return.

I think the best assets of this hotel are their staff members. I have been treated well by them - very accommodating to requests and always with a smile. The room was so-so though. A good bed with a nice balcony over looking the main road was available. Two bottles of drinking water was provided in the refrigerator with tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer etc. The only grouse I have was the funny smelling water running from the tap and shower head! Smelt very very fishy! I stayed in the hotel for two nights at a rather reasonable price. Would recommend it for a short stay.

I enjoyed the hotel but it is familiar holiday holiday hotel where the staff spoke little english. The majority of the guests appeared to be Russian and only mixed amongst themselves and were rather rude in the common parts. Also, they bought most of their food outside and to eat inside and the evening buffet wich was reasonably priced went unused although it was good value. As always the Thai staff were cheerful and helpful.

Hotel in reasonable location-bit of a walk to the village (about 15mins) and the bus service from the hotel could be more frequent. Aside from that it is what it says on the tin-clean, comfortable stay.

Hard to find flaws with this hotel. Room was bright, clean, simple, spacious. Terrace overlooking pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pool large enough for lap swimming (although irregularly shaped) and very well maintained. Only complaint is that charge for in-room internet access is high (but free access in lobby mitigates this). Sidewalks in neighborhood are poorly maintained and there are lots of bars and massage places (but that's true all over Kata Beach and is not a feature of this hotel). To avoid this (if it bothers you) you would have to stay at a hotel on the beach. I had a great stay at a low price.
