quite hotel out of season with winds of 13o km p/h Bar staff very pleasant but this is also due to very low low number of guests. Breakfaqst was perfect (hot)

Starts to show signs of ageing. Time to deep clean or change the carpets. Furniture a bit worn, as are the mattresses. Needs to be freshened up. Staff also not very interested or nice. No air conditioning in the room - normally not needed, but I happened to be there during a few very warm days. No sound proof door. Not too bad, but not great either. A bit too expensive for their offering. A nice, but too expensive, restaurant on site.

Perfect for what it is. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Pretty enjoyable restaurant, decent service. Great base for North Sea beaches, Delta Works, etc.

4 Nights business trip, Very abrubt welcome after a long day travelling. Surprised to find mold, cracks in the wall and dirty walls in my Comfort Room with Dune view (view of an old mini-golf course - the Dunes were in the far distance) for which I had paid extra. couch was old, and no headboard - twin bed was pushed up against a staiend wall, with mold growth from leaks from the shower.
The room was nice and spacious, shower had a shower curtain which was disappointing and would billow up against your legs in the shower.
Apart from the welcome the staff were helpful and organised breakfast a 1/2 hour earlier than their planned breakfast time as I and a colleague had to leave earlier for meetings. No soap bars or shampoo.

This is a pleasant well run and nice hotel situated a bit of the beaten track in Zeeland, but near the beach areas of the Zeeland area.
The staff are great and very accommodating, the Food is excellent and really should have a Michelin star or 2 .
Pricing for my 1 week stay while there on business was half of the others in the area so great value for money.
If I had a moan , and it would be a small thing , it would be some of the internals could do with a redecorate.

I've chosen the Hotel for a short trip with family to enjoy the calm and quiteness of that area, a sea breeze and trips to the surrounding activity hotspots.
Hotel staff was very friendly and forthcoming, the restaurant has a nice choice of food and drinks.
If the weather plays along, you can enjoy a nice view to the neighbouring glider airport from the restaurant or biergarten.

We thought by the hotel name that the hotel would be in the sand dunes of Zeeland, or at least close to the sea. It is not, so don't be fooled.
On entering the hotel there is a sense of entering a timewarp, nobody at reception, and the whole air of the place was slightly run down.
The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The decor is old fashioned and needs an update, but for the target clientelle (old people) I think it's fine. The heating worked, unlike other Fletcher hotels so that was a pleasant surprise. And there was lashings of hot water.
Breakfast was a dissapointment, very limited buffet choice and a desolate atmosphere in the dining area.
There is NOTHING in the area, so walking to a restaurant or beach bar is out of the question. We drove to Burgh Haamstede town center and there is plenty of choice there, it's a couple of KMs from the hotel, about 7 mins in the car.
The bar area is right in the middle of the restaurant, so having a drink means being in the middle of evening diners. We chose not to have a drink at the hotel, it was not welcoming or cosy.
Overall we were dissapointed by our weekend away experience, and would choose another hotel in future.
