Excellent location, fantastic resort for families. Great location with the markets 3 times a week and right next to the beach. Beds were comfy, rooms good size, excellent value for money

We stayed in Sunwing Kamala Beach with our two kids for two weeks.The staff looked after us very well from the very first moment until the end of the holiday. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Pools are big and kids definitely enjoyed 3 water slides in the resort. Resort is right on the beach but unfortunately Sunwing Kamala doesn’t have any sun beds. On the same time it was great to see hotel staff taking care of the rubbish on the beach to keep beach as clean as possible. Breakfast buffet had options for everyone, lunch and dinner options in the restaurant had a great selection of Thai or International dishes. Complimentary kids a la carte was a nice touch. It was our first time in Thailand and we had mixed expectations prior to our holiday but I have to say Sunwing Kamala Beach Resort is on the top of their game. I would definitely recommend it for the families with kids as it is very “family oriented” hotel. I also would like to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the staff in the resort but particularly to FON who looked after us and take care of us very well. Beside of the taste of the dishes her warm and friendly service brought us to dine in the hotel restaurant several times a day rather than eating outside of the hotel. I come from the hospitality business and those staff members are the key of success once it comes to the service. So please keep her as long as you can. See you next time Sunwing Kamala Beach !!!

The rooms are great, but the food is so so. Easy access to the beach, though the beach is not particularly good.

We have stayed at Sunwing before and enjoyed it , liked the pool , the reataurant , like how quickly the staff clean the rooms upon request

We stayed as a family of four(2 adults & 2 kids) .Hotel room was perfect for our family and the staff was friendly and accommodating.Hotel has good entertainment for children ,the only hitch we felt was the hotel location was far away from the famous attractions in Phuket,at least 30 minutes drive. Beach is accessible from the hotel and there is food street in walkable distance.Overall good experience.

We had an amazing stay. The service was excellent, our room was clean and spacious, and the hotel is in a great location. We liked the more quiet region of Kamala. The hotel is next to the beach and you can easily walk to shops/restaurants as well as to FantaSea and the carnival. It was very family friendly. It’s a great hotel.

We stayed in a 'royal pool suite'. It was amazing! Get out of bed and jump in the pool! Free water in fridge every day and good service. FantaSea and Carnival just over the road. Markets outside the hotel 3x a week. They have souvenirs, clothing, gadgets and an awesome food isle. Hotel is close to/at the beach, but the front beach side is reserved for travellers over 16 yrs old. The back side is for families with kids. Very good fun with the 3 big water slides, pool bar and kid's activities. We didn't book any meals here. We just went to restaurants and shops outside. Would definitely come back here.

The place is in very good condition. The facility is well taken care of and it is super big! The buffet is awesome, the pool is beautiful with big slides. The vibes are amazing for kids with kids clubs and activities. Very punctual and well-priced transportation to and from the airport. Reception very helpful and responsive. Rooms are clean, spacious and very cozy. The one thing I did not like is that although the hotel has beach access they do not have umbrellas at the beach. If I want to use the beach I need to rent form Sun Prime which is right beside them and that did not make much sense to me.

This is by far one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. The facilities, the staff and the resort as a whole were excellent. We were all disappointed our trip had come to an end, so much so we are looking to see when we could go again. Recommend this to anyone

Friendly and nice

The staffs were exceptional. There was nothing that I didn't like. Everything was great with my staying with Sunwing. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends. I just want to say thank you Sunwing, Keep doing your excellent service. Also the people of Thailand are awesome people. Thank you, looking forward to seeing you in a near future

Beautiful place. Good food. Very quiet when we were there. I imagine in the high season it would be horrible around the pools and impossible to get a seat at breakfast. The beach that's close by is more of a rubbish tip than a beach unfortunately.

Fantastic stay at the resort, they have amazing staff and its location in Kamala is a prime position.

Good location in Kamala. The beach is very beautiful and walking distance to lots of restaurant.

The property stunk of sewerage. The curtains are not block out curtains - they did not reach the floor. The rooms are not sound proof. You can hear everyone talking from the next door rooms and from the corridor. Bed sheets were stained and dirty. I requested and confirmed two single beds but got a king. There is a kids club but I felt it wasn't clean. Restaurant food was not of a good quality. Buffet breakfast was average at best. Kids meals were not fresh. Pools were extremely hot from the sun. No shading.

Kid wonderland at this hotel - everything you can imagine to make a kids holiday fantastic meant Mum and Dad were relaxed. Wifi was OK but you would have to pay extra for streaming. Disney channel was shown on 2 screens in the restaurant so parents can read the menu and eat. Kids club and activities were like good quality daycare. Massage on the beach was excellent and the same price or cheaper than down the road or along the beach - they did kids mani/pedi/hair braiding while Mum and Dad got massages! The mini shop had everything we wanted at quite reasonable prices. I counted 8 pools if you include the really shallow one with a seal fountain for kids. The staff were amazing at handling stressed parents and jetlagged kids. The yoga was in the neighbouring property (10 metres through reception) which was the adult version of this resort so you could escape the kids. Wow! What a fun, relaxing holiday we had.

Amazing staff, food, entertainment for kids. Right on the beach, great pools, spacious rooms.

The hotel was very well catered for families. Lots of facilities and activities for children including face painting, shows, characters, water slides. The local area was also quite charming with restaurants along the beach front. Staff were also very friendly and welcoming especially to our son who loved the attention.

Sunwing is paradise for a family vacation! The facilities, staff, location are top notch. We have been staying at Sunprime/Sunwing for many years and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Phuket.

Very nice hotel. We were there in 14dage and our daughter so we almost did not because she was too busy with everything that was happening around her. Subjects to be playing with kids is really talented. If you are a great inflatables, there is ample opportunity to get a dip in the hotel's many pools. Every Thursday there is a market right next to the hotel, so one could get their appetites controlled with a good deal. But otherwise it is only 5 mins walk to town. We will certainly recommend this hotel for families traveling with children

back for the 4th time, kids love it, 7 pools are great, restaurants on the beach great, beach great.

The staff is the best of the property. The location in front of the beach also is amazing.We love Sunwing Kamala, it is the perfect place for relaxing and enjoying Phuket.

Don't overlook Sunwing. Great place to stay with your family. We stayed 10 nights. Can't complain about anything. Local markets 500 metres away Fridays & Mondays. Great shopping & awesome local eats. Tuk tuk's waiting outside to take you anywhere. Only 25 mins to Patong & Fantasea 750 meters up the road.

Great for families. Great location right on the beach, plenty to keep kids entertained and let parents relax.
