I had a good stay. They really need to to some repairs to the rooms. The bed lights had one that the plug in did not work. That is also true about another room I stayed in. The microwaves are very old and outdated, also true ifsome of their refrigerators. My last trip when I ope d the door it was loose and almost fell on my foot. They just really need to update. They also do not supply kleenex or a hair dryer. I thought all hotel/motels provided those as a courtesy.

Staff was friendly and the room was clean (although it smelled like a fish market). Keep in mind this is a pet-friendly hotel, so we heard a large dog barking and whining throughout the night.

I stay at this motel because it is pet friendly and does not charge an extremely high pet fee. As a senior that is very important. The one thing about this motel it is not good about repairs. My last stay the room I was in had none working safety locks. I was very concerned about this and let the front desk know. They said it was repaired but it was not. It was still extremely hard for me to turn the safety lock. The one bed lamp had a burned out bulb and they took care of that. The cleaning staff did not clean my room and had to call the front desk for towels. The beds were comfortable. They really don't have heavy enough blankets, so I always bring one with me.

We got a second floor room. Getting off the elevator you get hit with a strong smell of Marijuana in the hallway. Thankfully it did not get into our room. We did however use our towel to block the big crack in the door. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet because of the assistance handles they tried to put on it. The bathroom door pushed into the small bathroom so handicap accessible is impossible in this bathroom. The refrigerator made such a loud noise we had to unplug it. The microwave didn’t work. The medal bed frame squeaked on the floor so bad we put our remaining towel under it. The bed was very soft to soft for our liking. This room was advertised on hotels like it had a sofa and fireplace which it had neither. The furniture in the room looked like it was in a bar fight.

Stayed one night while touring the coast. We chose Motel 6 since we travel with our dogs and they make it easy. This place was pretty much like all other Motel 6s except for a distinct odor in the hallway--most likely from previous guests not being careful with their crabbing "juices" spilling out onto the carpet, particularly near the ice machine. I suggest Motel 6 remove the carpet so they can sanitize the floor more easily. Other than that, it was fine.

We stayed here for a recent family memorial service. Our room needed major help with upkeep. Outlet covers missing, hanging out from wall, shower fixtures loose, veneer missing from bottom of doors where dogs had obviously clawed at. Towels were stained and dirty. That probably disgusted me more than anything. The sheets were worn and thin. Off the balcony there is a lot of trailers that obsolete live there year round. They are RIGHT behind you, under you. They were outside until late at night, and there were lots of lights and noise. When we checked out, we saw the garbage area that was not cared for, and open for all to see in the parking lot. It was awful. We will not be back. There are many other choices of budget hotels to be had in Newport.

Never been to a motel or hotel where you couldn’t get ahold of front desk. Tv in room was broke half the time. The phone in the room never worked; and it felt like a bother to even have to ask for an extra blanket.

The front desk person was incredibly rude and unhelpful, but the housekeeping staff was so friendly and awesome that it made up for it. I enjoyed the view (the trick is to look out at the water, not downward at the people living in trailers behind the motel) and my daughter loved that you can sometimes hear the harbor seals honking in the distance.

We were very happy with our stay! The room was perfect for what we needed, the hotel room was clean and staff and other guests were so friendly! The motel is literally in walking distance of the dock we wanted to crab off. We really enjoyed our stay :) Definitely staying here for our future crabbing trips to Newport :) The best part is it is a pet friendly motel 😀

For a one night stay passing through on Rte 101 scenic drive, it served its purpose. Price was reasonable. Beds were comfortable. Walls & ceilings were paper thin. There was a strong smell of disinfectant in the room upon arrival. We were three people but only found towels for 2. Again, price point was right for a one night stay, passing through.

There is no A/C in the entire hotel. It’s not broken or being repaired. They simply don’t have A/C. Front desk also closes at 10pm. Doors are locked, even though guests can get in through a door to the hallway and elevator with a key card.

The room was very hot when we arrived. Window could have been opened. 1st night would have been more tolerable. Very hot and stuffy! No air conditioning to turn on.very basic room. No coffee machine (coffee was cold in lobby.) no shampoo or conditioner. No hair dryer. Had to ask for clean towels, second and third day. Room was clean when we arrived. Vending machine broken.

Booked a ocean view room, didn't get it. You only get a ocean view from the third floor, but you can't get that if you have a pet. They also lock down the TV so you can only watch cable, you can't even plug in a laptop to watch YouTube or Netflix because they literally locked out all the inputs, even using a universal remote didn't work. If you are going to do that at least put in smart tvs so I can access things like YouTube or Netflix. Building is filthy, smells like pee, outside walls need to be washed badly. Place is only 10 years old but looks like 30.

This property is within walking distance of the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium and also the Hatfield Marine Science Visitor Center, as well as a great breakfast and lunch "mom and pop," old-style, restaurant. Nice room with mini fridge and microwave and even a special counter area with sink, for preparing breakfast in the room.

I mean it’s a Motel 6. Definitely not the worse one I’ve ever stayed at, BUT definitely not the nicest. Everyone was being so loud until like 1am. Housekeeping never even touched our room. Bed seemed cleaned and for what it is I’ll take it. I don’t feel like anyone should ever spend more than like $130 a night on this place.

Good location, you do need a car to access Newport itself. There is a RV parking facility surrounding the hotel, and the fireplaces in each room do not work. Otherwise it was a great, clean place to stay.

My room was on the west side of motel, which was directly beside the bridge. Because of the warm weather and lack of AC in this motel, the window needed to be open -- which allowed even greater road noise into the room. Otherwise, it was a basic Motel 6; fairly priced, conveniently located, with helpful staff, and limited amenities.

It was fair the rooms didn't have air-conditioning the staff didn't get up tell 7:30 there wasn't any coffee parking really tight so we had to go into town to get coffee. The hotel was clean staff friendly and helpful .so for the cost it was ok.

The parking lot is very small, not enough parking spots for as many rooms as the motel has, so there is a field across the street you can park with the homeless vehicles. When you open your back slider or window the “view” from the rooms is a parking lot full of camper trailers 50 feet from you, so you hear that all day and night. There is no a/c or fan in the rooms, the air is hot, stagnant and the room smells terrible. There is only one drink vending machine and it was broken, the snack vending machine is so old it accepts cash only. The front desk was selling bottled beverages… cash only. They also serve coffee with sugar and powdered creamer… The towels in the room are small, thin and scratchy. They only give you one bar of soap and one roll of toilet paper.
