Terrible experience.

The position of the hotel is good super close to the train station, besides that it was definetly not a good experience. The reception initially had no idea I had a booking and that I had already paid. The wifi never worked, there wasn't even a bottle of water in the room. Other hotels in the same price range are much better.

Staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was very good.
The room is also clean.

Decent hotel, very close & convenient to the train station. Good breakfast in the morning & quick and easy checkout. Not luxury, but perfect for a quick stop over when traveling.

Good location, delicious . Room could be modernised.

You need to be careful with hotels in Europe in the summer. They are not equipped for the heat that Europe experiences in the summer now. This hotel was very nice but without an A/C. They at least had a fan. Others i stayed in with Hotels.com did not and seamed to be in denial. When talked about the new heat in Europe now they all told me they have A/C at home, yet none in the hotels.

Good hotel but no lift , break fast is good, location is plus

GiessenはFrankfurt/M.よりLocal trainで約40分の所にある町なので、観光目的ならFrankfurtに宿泊する方がお勧めです。

Under construction, too noisy
Lo cation near train station

Quite basic, but it was sufficient enough.

The front desk was helpful and used to guests traveling to Gießen for business, and check-in was easy. The room itself (a single bed), was very small and felt more like a dorm room, not exactly the Hyatt Grand, but everything was clean. The furniture in the room was simple but had clearly been put in semi-recently, and although the bathroom was tiny it was very functional. I'd call the room as a whole utilitarian, with the exception of the television. I just needed a place to stay for work in Gießen for a night, so it was ideal. The real gem, however, is the breakfast buffet. The whole hotel seems to have a tension between a little shabby and seemingly once very fancy, but the breakfast was all class. A huge 'German' breakfast of breads and meats and cheeses and spreads and fruits, with joghurt and cereal and coffee, and even scrambled eggs and sausage patties for us Amis. I'd stay there again just for the complimentary breakfast.

I booked this room for a couple of nights on business. It is situated next to the main train station and like a lot of other hotels in Germany quite basic in style. I had a single room which was perfectly adequate for my requirements. Not particularly noisy, car parking and the breakfast is to be recommended. I found the hotel worked well for my needs. I would certainly use it again

Nice hotel for an overnight stay. I was on a long trip and just needed to stop for the night. It was a good call. Nice hotel in this situation. Well located.

Good location. Lady who checked me in was not very friendly or helpful Later in the day a better person at teh desk.

The only really good thing was the breakfast!
The internet is not working in the room and everything is old and the smell in the room is awful.

First night well received by reception and parking area allocated. Room clean with no coffee facilities and threadbare towels.Second night well received but placed in another room. No water or soft drink and a more threadbare towel. Wake-up service 1 hour early 03h45 instead of 04h45

Excellent breakfast, older hotel. Only problem was the noise which carries in the hotel.

Nice small roomed average motel style , nothing special , its just a convenient stay in a central location.

This hotel is no way a four star hotel. The only way this is a four star hotel is if the closet and coffee table is all they take into account. The room is very small and the furnishing is very close together. I stubbed my toe and hit my head on two separate occasions. The very small shower area is handheld. You can also hear your neighbors when they are doing anything with audio (watching TV or listening to music). The parking is in a hideous location in the back and finding this place is almost impossible without a cell phone (GPS had trouble). I do not know how this hotel got a four star rating, because at best it is a three or two star hotel. TRUST ME JUST GO WITH A FIVE STAR HOTEL, BECAUSE THIS HOTEL IS NOT FOUR STARS.

the room was ok, but there were no coffee/tea making facillities.
the shower had a curtain and a small ceramic retaining wall to keep the water back, unfortunately water leaked underneath the wall and flooded the bathroom.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and the service and staff were top notch as usual.
The room I stayed at was what I expected after staying here several times.
The only complaint I have on this trip was the light in the bathroom was really dim, to the point of almost being dark.
