So this property is about 15 minutes outside of Malaga. It was a very clean, quiet room with much appreciated air conditioning during a hot stay. Parking was a little bit of a challenge since it’s in a highly populated area with many one-way streets and you need to find parking on the street. the staff were super friendly, Accommodating and helpful. My only recommendation to the property would be to use a WhatsApp method of communication since we arrived late, and with an E Sim have no access to a local telephone number to phone for information on how to get the access card after hours. Overall, we are very thankful for accommodating Hotel.

Stayed here for the 2nd time. Really nice hotel with very friendly staff. No luxury but all we needed was there: Bathroom with hairdryer, safe and even a TV with lots of channels (that we did not use since we spend most time outside). Clean room in a nice and quiet neighborhood, and very close to a supermarket and only a 5 minute walk to the beach front.
Just perfect for us - we will return for sure :-)

Nice hotel. Very close to great restaurants and the beach. Parking was a chore as there is only limited street parking.

Fantastic Hotel and extremely friendly staff. Really nicely decorated. We had a small but very clean room with everything we needed. The area was nice and quiet, there is a super market 3 minutes from the hotel, and it only takes 6-7 minutes to walk to the beach with lots of nice restaurants at the waterfront. Busses leave every 10 minutes to the center, and the ride only takes about 10-15 minutes,
Even though the rooms are not sound proof at all, this was not a problem because everyone was showing consideration. One sound stood out and surprised us a few times, and at the end we found out what it was (Note to hotel: The wooden toiletdoor in room 104 can hit som obstacle when opened fast, and that makes a rather loud noise even on the 2nd floor. You should look into that :-) )
Like already said, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We got free beach towels to use during our stay, and when there was a problem with one of our power outlets, we were immediatly offered a different room. All in all an experience far beyond a 1 star hotel, and we we will definately stay here next time we visit Malta.

i book for a double bed room, they give me a terrible tripple room, No wifi, you have to move to the right and to the left more than 5 minutes to get the good water warm, the bed without top, you put your head on the pillow directly to the mural. then i pay the receptionnist, one day later, 2 days later, i ask a uber to come, i ask the housekepeer to get back my laguages from the reception after the check out, she ask me to pay again, i told her i payed already, then wait please, she call someone, and the driver was outside waiting for me, pffff

The hotel room was fine and there was a really nice yard with cosy furniture. Unfortunately there was a lot of noice, I was woken up several times during the night, due to people yelling, fighting and singing loudly.

It was a basic hotel but clean and spacious. I like that the hotel was located very close to the beach(within walking distance) I would had enjoyed my stay a lot more, if other travelers were more considerate of others staying at the hotel. People SLAMMED their room doors and it sounded very loudly, specially when it was midnight. This factor would be the only reason why I would not stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful.

room needed a refurb ASAP as mould in the shower, and shower doors falling apart. i have stayed in the hotel each year for the last 6 years and in that time the rooms have not had a upgrade.
limited ventilation in the room meaning always a damp smell in the room. wall paper coming off the wall, which indicates the level of dampness in the room.
the bedding had red stains on it which made me feel uncomfortable as wasn't sure what that was!
Shower was leaking, and water leaking on to the floor.
just dont feel you get the value for the money paid!

Hotel Domus is a budget hotel, but still one of the nicer hotels in the area. We found it to be a friendly place and very good value for money. The only negative was the breakfast which was very basic (and also cheap).

room was not properly cleaned on the day we arrived and due to a sugary drink spillage at the back of the room furniture meant a large number of ants accumulated that was not pleasant to see. with no reception service after 11PM had to clean up the spillage ourselves in order to get rid of the ants as they were crawling on the beds! staff were sympathetic when told morning after. however shower cubicle leaking caused water leakage into the bathroom.

Well, this is a beautiful property in a nice area and close to the waterfront where there is lots of activity. The Room was basic and only had a tiny window with no view but the A/C was excellent and a nice Bathroom. Facilities were very good and location was excellent.

pleasant stay. although due to delay in my flight i was not able to get in time before the check-in closed and it became bit of an issue trying to gain access. However, the hotel has a process in place for those unable to check-in within the reception opening times.

Clean, inexpensive hotel. For the night we stayed, Domus is a great hotel. Its close to the beach, about a 20 min walk by the ocean to downtown Malaga. If possible ask for a room on one of the first two floors. We ended up in a room on the top floor. While the room was good sized and you can see the ocean out of the window, the ceilings were sloped which killed a lot of space in the bedroom and made the bathroom awkward. You have to be very careful not to hit your head in some parts of the room and bathroom. There also isnt an elevator.

I enjoyed my staying in Malaga, Domus is a little bit far from the heart of city but I loved the scenery, hill climbing and all beautiful flowers all over walls, Maria is a pleasure to talk and very helpful, and I felt safe there. Two thumbs up

Great value for money. Strange that this is just a one star hotel.

There's a distance to city centre but very close to beach.
For the room itself, mattress is very comfortable. However, the room provided 2 single beds instead of a double, that is very disappointing. Shower is ok. Air con works well.
For service, I stayed for 7 nights, they didn't change my bed sheets for 7 nights, they gave me new towel on the 2nd last day of my stay. No shower gel and shampoo provided in the last 3 days of my stay. 1 day no one tidy up my room. But you can borrow beach towel from the hotel for free.
I paid 40 euro per night, considering the service provided, i am not sure if it is worth.
In my point of view, this should be a hostel, it should not be called a hotel. However,if it is a hostel, usually there is a kitchen for tenants, but no kitchen in this place. If it is a hotel, there should be restaurant for lunch and dinner, but no restaurant for lunch and dinner here. Moreover, tenants can't cook and eat in the room. This means you must go out for food. If you stay in your room, no eating.

The hotel is lovely, small and relaxing, with excellent bedding, fresh, stylish decor and a lovely terrace for breakfast. The only down side was the staff - they were on the unfriendly side, and unfortunately inattentive. The breakfast for €4 is good - tea or coffee, orange juice, cereal and either toast or a warm croissant with jam, marmalade and butter or oil and salt. Cafe food is served from three in the afternoon to nine at night, but outside these times you can't get a hot drink at all which is frustrating, especially since the receptionist is sat right next to the kettle! Location is excellent, a 5-10 minute walk from the seafront where all the bars and restaurants are, on a nice quiet street set back from the road. All in all a great place, I would definitely return.

Location was perfect. Close to the beach but far enough away to be quiet. We didn't have to deal with the noise and busyes of Central. Hotel was better than I expected and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.
