Avoid at all costs and don’t be fooled by the pictures and fancy reception area on arrival.
We stayed at this hotel that claimed to be 4-star, but our experience was far from it. Upon arrival, it became apparent that the room we were given did not match the photos advertised. The bathroom was mouldy and flooded every time we had a shower, bath was covered in paint (although that must’ve been 20 years old because this place definitely hasn’t been renovated since then), drainage issues, cracked walls and the list goes on.
We reached out to Expedia and they were useless saying the manager was now saying we couldn’t have any refund. Very clever that he waited for us to actually leave to continue with our travels.
In short if you want to book a hotel that is claiming to be something it isn’t, live in mould, go surfing in your bathroom rather than just shower, enjoy a smelly room and use electrical equipment that is an accident waiting to happen…. Then this is the place for you!

Recently we had an opportunity of staying at Century Pines Resort in Tanah Rata.
Positives:
- good location
- clean, spacious rooms
- comfortable beds
- helpful staff at reception desk
- good WiFi
Negatives:
- deposit safety box was faulty due to dead battery inside - staff intervened however the problem remained
- breakfast spread quite limited and seemed more of a nightmare with 60-70 people all turning up at 7 am causing a mini mayhem around
Overall, not a bad option for Cameron Highlands visitors esp those who drive their own car(s) or rely on bus communication (bus station 5 min away on foot). Thank you

My room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Good and tasty selection for breakfast. Hotel is very conveniently located and I thoroughly recommend it as a good place to stay.

Please wash the toilet bowl in room before guess check in. The female staff at the counter should be more friendly and smile to guests.

This hotel was really great value for money, although it may be helpful if some basic renovation could be done, due to it appears to be quite old now. The room was pretty big and bed was comfy as well. I had requested for a baby cot when booking and it was already in the room when we checked in. Breakfast area is big and good varieties of food items. Staff in the hotel are pleasant and helpful. Most importantly, they have free parking for hotel guests, which is quite important in a far off place like Cameron highlands. The location is quite good as well, it was right in between the attractions we wanted to visit I.e. strawberry farms up north versus the tea plantations further south.
However, as mentioned previously, the property is badly in need of some basic renovation at least. The locker looked like the controller may fall off anytime and the wear and tear on the flooring and walls and furniture is visible. Secondly we got a room on the second floor of the C wing, which does not have a lift and I had to manually carry all the luggages up and down to/from the car.

It is in the city center and had wonderful surroundings

Check in was fine but when we reached our room it smelled bad with odour and the bathroom had dead insects stuck on the wall. Also the hot water cable in the bath had black tape covering the gaps which is not safe in bath tub.
However, the bed was very comfortable and the room decor was great. The mosque is just around the corner from the hotel and you can hear the prayers clearly through the speakers.

There was a lot of human hair all over the room and it was disgusting. His toothbrush was missing. There were only 2 towels and no face towels. He commented that the garden was nice, but he didn't think it was just grass.

6 minutes walk to the main road of Tanah Rata, whereby there are a lot of eateries and shops. There is a walking trail (about 430 metres) to nearby waterfall (Parit Falls) next to the resort.

We stayed 2 nights here with family. The rooms are refurbished and are not bad at all.

Good establishment and safe choice for a trip in Cameron Highlands. The hotel is calm and well decorated. The room are clean and spacious. The main street of the city is near and you only need a few minutes to reach it.

The hotel is dated and needs some updating. There was a lack of towels and no toilet paper in my bathroom, thankfully my neighbor gave a roll. There was a pretty decent rain and the bathroom drains backed up and flooded the bathroom, toilet and shower area with gunk and mud. They did clean it up but never even offered to move our room. The hotel is located across the park where the speaker for the morning prayer and sunrise payers are projected from, difficult to sleep past 6:45 am.

The staff welcome was just so and overall the staff weren't over friendly or welcoming. The hotel and room were of goid quality and clean but dogs barking in the corridor at 130am woke us up. There was no one on thd spa desk to ask sbout booking in and desk staff werent awfully helpful either. If we came to Cameron Highlands again we would look at sraying elsewhere

Poor amenities. Other than that this hotel is "OK".

The hotel is quite old - they did refurbish a little bit and upgraded the TV, but the toilet and shower was old and not very clean. Bed sinks in, a bit too soft for my liking. At night, it does get a bit noisy if there is traffic such as loud motorcycles. Breakfast selection is acceptable but food quality is really poor. The staff service is fantastic. They are polite, friendly, and do try their best to make your stay pleasant. Parking may be a challenge if during peak season though.

Near to many dining options and bus terminal. Fantastic staff service. Breakfast was good as well, with different options in the 4 nights we were there. Highly recommend this property.

Located conveniently with lots of restaurants and groceries. However the hotel is disappointing. There is no spa available despite being advertised on website and booking app (like Expedia). This is false marketing.
Worse still, the room isn’t clean. Arrived to find our table littered with ants; pillow with broken pillow cover; bathtub and sink dirty ; water leaks in our bathroom and toilet from the ceiling.
I have a baby with me and it definitely wasn’t a good experience. Our first , and last time visiting this hotel.

Nice hotel, helpful staff, good parking, convenient - able to walk into Tanah Rata for dining options. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wish they had a balcony to sit and enjoy the clean fresh mountain air...small balcony...only able to stand on it.Breakfast during weekdays is limited, a small selection of bites were laid out, had to order what you wanted at the front desk before sitting down. Weekends are better as there was more of a crowd and therefore more of a choice for breakfast without having to order. Overall a comfortable hotel, slightly dated (as most properties are around Camerons) and convenient hotel.

Good breakfast. Great hotel. Well maintained although old. Clean. We took the garden room. So great ambience. Appreciated we got to use pool table and table soccer for free. Check in queuing time was too long. Should streamline the process more.. will come back.

Overall it was ok. It was disappointing that the bath tub cannot be used eventhough it's part of the room features that is displayed The fan was making so much noise at night that we didn't get to sleep well. It was some weird metal clinking sound, which only got louder and louder through the night.

The room was so comfortable and i would highly recommend this resort to my family and friends. However the only issue we encounter is lack of varities during breakfast. Very limited choices. Overall, our stay is worth for the money we were paid.

I went to this lovely hotel for our anniversary and they offered us complimentary decoration on the bed. Their bed is comfortable and staff are friendly! Just the breakfast is quite sad since they offer only a small room that contain limited amount of food choices.

Check in process was subpar. First of all, the receptionist wasn't friendly; secondly, we were provided with a room with no housekeeping done: beds were not made and the toilet was absolutely dirty with leftover garbage and wet towels thrown on the floor; thirdly, we were provided with twin beds instead of the queen bed requested earlier for our honeymoon trip, which shows total inconsideration of guest requests from the hotel management. After lodging a complaint with the concierge, we were provided another room which was cleaner than the previous one, however the room condition appeared considerably aged. Despite the less than pleasant experience, we were rather satisfied with our stay due to the location of the resort and buffet breakfast option.
