I can't beleive the beauty, the cleanliness, the care, the attention, the directions specially when your not familiarized with the area, the most caring hard working owner and staff that i have ever seen. The ambianzed was so peaceful and tranquile. Overall an awsome place to stay specially how beautiful and very clean.

There were several tables there making it more cafe style, which we really liked. Nice restaurant within a couple blocks walking area, and bar and restaurant on sight. Beautiful and quaint sitting areas in the back with tabels and comfy charis. Its a great. We would go back, as long as it doesnt get too much more than the $269 (ish) that we paid. Its worth it we just couldnt afford anymore.

We were looking for a quick get away and booked this place at the last minute- we were not disappointed. The inn was wonderful and our room had a warm romantic feel. Our host Augustino was welcoming and very helpful in making suggestions of where to go. We were greeted in the morning with very delicious breakfast and the restaurant next door- Otis - was wonderful as well. We also spent the day at the beach which was an easy 20 minute drive. The town itself is also very charming steeped in history and very well preserved . I would love to go back.

The Inn by the Bandstand is an outstanding value for vacationers. It is simply a wonderful experience in every way. To mention just a few: excellent gourmet breakfasts, very friendly, caring, and accommodating staff, free upgrades to a better room if available, spotlessly clean, beautiful and lovingly restored historic residence converted to an inn, very relaxing and restful, which extends to the entire little town of Exeter, New Hampshire. The town’s residents are all very friendly and take the time to make you feel welcome. The river walk and Exeter’s famous high school are also worth the walking time. Agostinho’s knowledge of the coastal area added greatly to our vacation enjoyment. This Inn and this little town are a must for those seeking a memorable getaway.

In July 2013 when someone recommended this B&B, I filed away the information for future use. Then a few months later in that fall of 2013, when I was looking 4 some rest and relaxation, we made our first reservation. Fast forward 3 years, and I am still staying there and making future reservations. We’ve been there for random getaway weekends; for their art shows; for holidays; just to escape the heat; and for the opening of Otis restaurant. A group of us have booked a couple of rooms for a weekend; my husband and I have enjoyed a romantic New Year’s weekend there; and on more than 1 occasion, I’ve driven the 90-miles north and spent the weekend by myself recharging! Not only is the Inn luxurious, and the breakfasts fantastic, but more importantly, the proprietors are so warm and gracious, very helpful, and extremely hospitable. It is the royal treatment they give me above all of the amenities at the Inn that keeps me coming back time and time again, and I am approaching my 12th stay. Jaime, Agostinho, and Rebekah all make me feel like the Inn is my home-away-from-home. Each time when I check out of the Inn, I make another reservation, so that I will always have a getaway weekend to look forward to on my busy calendar schedule. Whether you are looking for a perfect New England location to stay, or you have to be in the Exeter area for family or business reasons, do yourself a favor and stay at The Inn By the Bandstand. I am certain this will also become your favorite place!
