The hotel is in a beautiful location, One mile from Havar Town center. Unfortunately it is tired and needs to be freshened. Worse the staff was unpleasant and made no effort to accommodate us. At check-in they said they had an upgrade available and then tried to talk us out of the upgrade. They wouldn’t give us our room even though it was available until 3pm. One person in particular at the front desk was rude. Fingers crossed if you decide to stay here you don’t end up with her at check in.

We had an incredible stay. The location is phenomenal - about a 15 minute walk from Hvar, with the hotel being situated on the most stunning piece of the coast, making the views and swimming amazing.
The views are unmatched, hotel staff are super friendly and helpful, and the bed was really comfortable. Our room had aircon too, and a fridge.
We had the perfect stay here.

Facility was beautiful, right on the water. They made it so relaxing to enjoy the scenery overlooking the Adriatic with a cocktail in hand. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best was the location. It was a twenty minute walk to Hvar Town through other beautiful homes and properties. Glad we found this hidden gem.

Very overated. Concierge was not nice. Asked not to enter my room for absence of tower, but insisted to do so without permission. The delineated pool or beach front was not what i was expected from the pics.

Having access to the seaside without the ‘hustle and bustle’, was the best feature for me. Plenty of sun loungers available, serviced by F&B staff. Located away from the centre of town, but walkable distance. Staff were very helpful. Book massages before you arrive to ensure availability. Breakfasts were delicious.

Swimming area is best on the island.

The hotel has excellent facilities, wonderful staff & a very good restaurant but the rooms are terribly outdated & unless you are willing to pay 20 euro each way you have a hike to the center of Hvar. If you are content with being away from all the action then this is the place to be. It has a private beach & is very peaceful. I was short on options because I booked last minute but I would probably not book here again simply because of its location & how outdated the rooms are. Otherwise a pleasant & relaxing stay.

We loved our stay at this hotel! everything was super clean and the staff were extremely friendly. the private beach area was AMAZING and so quiet. breakfast in the morning was so delicious as well. my only regret is only staying here one night!

The most amazing stay! You almost don’t have to leave the accomodation. The pool and private beach is perfect and the accomodation is clean.

When taking a shower, no proper water flowing

The hotel needs a deep clean, a repaint and more (and better) staff.
It really isn't a 4 star hotel.
The pool is green and cloudy, the staff abrupt at times, rhenlift broke down, there's no proper bar, the food is very average.
We only ate there one evening and that was enough!
The location is great, but this hotel is suffering from and identity crisis.

Lovely stay! Definitely would stay here again if I came back

Access to a beautiful private beach with food and beverages brought right to your beach chairs! The rooms are lovely and ours had a lovely view. Highly recommend!
4.0
The hotel has a nice private beach for you to use. When I was there it was not too crowded and room for all guests.
Rooms are ok, but bit dated. The noise isolation is quite poor so you hear guest walking in the hall or in the rooms next to you (left/right, top/bottom). One side is facing the water with a nice view of the beach, the other straight into a wall on the other side give the room a more claustrophobic vibe.
Food at the hotel is fine, but the main town is a lovely 20min walk along a beautiful water way and is highly recommended to go into the center and explore

We first started by being stuck in the elevator and had to have the staff help us out. They didn’t even apologize or asked if we were okay.
The room was fine but a bit dark.
The breakfast was good.
Location with the sunbeds right by the ocean was amazing and the hotel itself didn’t seem overcrowded.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Especially Maria (AVE). Right on a quiet, clean, nice beach. It was perfect.

Stayed 6 nights. the wi-fi was bad, pillows were uncomfortable, 4 channels on tv with interruptions. very old furniture with poor lighting in the room. Heard receptionist saying to a different couple that you pay for hvar (destination) not the hotel.

I was traveling with my wife and two kids, and they would not accommodate us staying as a family before so we had to get two different rooms. Both of the rooms we got were in the same classification yet one was beautiful and spacious with a great view and the other one was about half the size jammed in the corner with a view of a tree. The larger bedroom has very spacious bathroom and the other had a bathroom so small you could barely open the door past the sink. online the hotel looks beautiful, it is right on the water, but it’s less luxurious in person than the photos make you believe. One of the staff was very rude to my 12-year-old daughter because she went up and asked for more blankets as well. The breakfast buffet is mediocre at best. The hotel is also very secluded. It’s about a 10 minute drive from downtown Hvar town and a strange, probably 20 minute walk or 25 minute walk along the promenade, then through the back residential streets.

beautiful hotel with amazing views and amenities , located 15 mins walking from town , rooms big and staff was super , Maria and Petra allways ready to help . our stay was wonderful

This hotel is in a beautiful location in Podstine bay with pool and private beach. The hotel is exceptionally clean and all the staff are pleasant and helpful.
A 25 minute walk takes you into the centre but lots of steps are involved.
The bathrooms are very small in the room we had but modern and ok

Beautiful property! We took many cold showers though. There was not enough hot water in our room for even two quick showers.

The staff has been exceptional, super friendly, very helpful and speedy in their efforts to address any requests. I would particularly highlight the massage therapist Oliveira as tremendously friendly and helpful in addressing my back and pain, going over and beyond to make me feel better with stretching exercises. Top notch experience and I will definitely come back! Thank you, team!

Beautiful property from the view, location, food, staff and the view is the biggest of all. Please stop looking and this is it. thank you.

Best hotel to stay at in Hvar! We will be coming back

If you don't like walking don't go to Hvar it's full of steps, that said this hotel is 15mins direct or 25mins via a lovely coastal walk away from town.
Its quiet with private beach away from all the partying in Hvar.
Breatfast was great, fresh salmon with eggs and a coffee.
Rooms are large, but dated and our balcony wasn't used.
We were happy we stayed here instead of Amorfa.

Stunning hotel etched into the cliff face with a private section of beach area. Breakfast was a selection of continental breakfast with some hot food options too. The room itself was nice, the bathroom a bit dated but clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff who were attentive and came round the loungers regular. One gripe however would be the water situation. During the day there was a water fountain in reception. After breakfast the water machine in the restaurant was turned off and late at night the water cooler in reception ‘broke’ every night. They clearly just removed it as a way of forcing people to use the mini bar after 23:00.

Staff were friendly in general, in particular in restaurant/at breakfast. Rooms very clean, daily too, bathrooms somewhat dated but fine. Sound proofing rooms leaves to be desired, woke up from late guest a few times. Location is good, nice views to the sea and easy access for a swim, 10min walk to town. Breakfast and food could do with improvement; dry bread. But overall good and relaxing experience

Great location and nice outdoor area by the sea

Fantastic! Staff is very helpful and attentive. Food and the room were amazing.

The building is a little tired looking from the outside but inside it’s lovely, very clean and has lots of areas to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views of the sea. There’s lots of sun loungers and bean bag beds and several levels with sofas and tables , felt quiet and intimate even at full capacity
Would definitely stay again
20min walk to town centre or 20 euro taxi

Intially we had trouble accessing the internet. The manager quickly took care of the problem by providing a new modem which solved our problem. All the staff seemed genuinely kind and attentive and I would not hesitate to encourage anyone to stay here. Restaurant served excellent food round the clock. A seaside walk into the village convinced me that being on the edge of town was most desirable as the music gets to be quite a nuisance just 1 or 2 bays over. Also a small grocery store nearby was very convenient. A shuttle would be an appreciated service but all in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

Stunning location in a quiet part of the island. However rooms and bathrooms feel very dated.

A great location walkable to old town on a beautiful boardwalk along the sea. Yet very quiet spot for the hotel!

I read a lot of reviews before booking here. I was concerned it was too far from town but we wanted something on the water and I didn't want to stay at a big resort. This hotel was perfect for my husband and me. Gorgeous pool area and deck chairs right on the water...a cool relaxed vibe... clean and comfy rooms, and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant, especially Petra at the front desk. The walk to town is mostly along a pretty seafront promenade. After the chaos and noise of Hvar town you will appreciate the serene hotel area away from the party scene. I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel with a tranquil unpretentious vibe.
