Staff was amazing and friendly. The facility was very basic, much like a college dorm. It was great for a place to sleep for 1 night, but not someplace I would want to stay longer.

The location of this property in relation to the town center was good, but finding the hotel was extremely difficult as it is not clearly marked and within a block of what looks like apartment buildings and offices. Parking is far away. Our room was in a separate building shared with offices which felt weird. The room itself was small and felt like a dorm

Besides ordering a room for 3 and having towels for 2, having no AC in a 30+ degrees Celsius - location for Bregenz festival goers is absolutely perfect - 5 minutes walk from the concert hall an seebhune, breakfast was good and the environment is very quiet. One more thing to improve - moskito nets. My friend got bit from head to toe during the nights. Due to high temperatures, leaving the window closed for the entire stay was impossible. Also, we enjoyed sitting at the bar and outside, and having a great service!

One of the hosts attempted to make a reservation for us for dinner but the restaurant wasn’t able to accommodate our group. The hosts offered to make us dinner (which was delicious), we ate in the garden area. Breakfast was also good, we were provided with foil and encouraged to take sandwiches with us. Room wasn’t large but it was efficiently laid out. I had a great night’s sleep, bed and pillows were comfortable. On a busy road, I don’t know the area well so can’t really comment on whether or not it was a good location. Lots of hot water, towels, even face cloths - which I don’t often find in Europe.

Since the area hotels were really expensive, this was a fairly good deal. 200 Euro for a room that slept 6. For our family, it was fun: bunk beds and a loft and a private bathroom. However, it was definitely a hostel. Lots of kids on class trips making noise late into the night and the sound of trains rumbling by. Also, there was no AC, so we had to sleep with our windows open, which would be okay if it wasn’t so noisy. Humid and stuffy in hallways and communal areas. Nice places to sit outside and decent breakfast. 10 min drive from Lindau.

Hostel like hotel, is is OK if you are traveling with a group, but it doesn’t have hotel facilities.

We just had one night in Bregrenz during our travel to Germany. The hotel was clean and staff was pleasant. The morning breakfast buffet was good too. The value for money is good for a family with small children as you can get rooms with plenty of beds...just be aware that the the hotel will be full of families with small children. It has the feel of a youth hostel, but with individual rooms.

Helpful, English speaking staff. Told us about a near by cable car ride that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Loved being close to the Lake with walkways, restaurants, and swimming pools. Lots to offer here and the room was lovely and secure. Parking filled up close to the hotel, but at least it was free even if some distance away.

Room was quite spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Staff was nice as well. Location was not as close to the lake as I had hoped, but is only a quick walk away. Good stop between Zurich and Munich.

Overnight stay while driving to Salzberg. Good choice, since easily accessed and free parking.

A ten minute walk from the center of Bregenz, the Jufa was clean and friendly. We really appreciated the family room with bunk beds that easily slept 4.

Jufa was previously a clothing factory thats now been converted into a modern hotel with friendly staff, good fittings and finishings with comfortable and large rooms. Breakfast choice was very good proving you like the normal continental breakfast. Free parking and close to the lake and town centre made this an excellent choice for us on our road trip . Good value too.

Would have appreciated being told before booking that the hotel mainly hosts school kids at this time of year (the kind whose teachers let them run up and down the corridors of the hotel, the floors of which creak very badly). Beds were quite uncomfortable, and I am not a person who is fussy about mattresses. Staff were very nice, but could not make up for the noise.
