Staff very professional and friendly. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. Well appointed room and quiet room. Great views over the golf course and coast line. Would recommend and stay again.

Initially reception tried to charge $25.00 per day for parking. But after complaining that we had not been charged for parking on previous visits the charge was dropped.

There was no parking available at the hotel due to an event taking place at the stadium . We managed to find parking close so it wasn’t an issue .
My daughter is 11 , we booked a room for 2 adults and one child and had to then pay $80 for a bed for her . We were informed that she could sleep in our bed !

Overall, the stay was good. The rooms are large and comfortable and the view of the golf course was stunning. The continental breakfast is great value. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful. The only areas which could be improved on is offering portering services, increasing the visibility of the hotel from outside, and offering some seating around the reception.

Conveniently located, clean, tidy and friendly staff. Can't ask for more than that

Good location. Hotel looks slightly tired.

Nice hotel, comfy bed, well located. Bit of an issue with car parking costs and also the "opt out of daily room cleaning for a coffee", but sorted out in the end.

Had a family gathering at the hotel and found the staff very friendly and helpful. So close to the stadium and water. I will def book again

Poor room quality. Bathroom facilities poor.

The Sage hotel is in a great location and the onsite parking is convenient. The checkin and checkout service was friendly and courteous. The cleanliness of our room however was disappointing. There were hairs and streak/wipe marks in the bathroom. The back of the bathroom door needed cleaning. I moved the bed to plug in the lamp and discovered another persons phone charger in the wall. The TV remote had a build up of dirt on the buttons.

Its a really good hotel but we asked for our room to be serviced and it wasnt..When i rang reception to ask why it hadnt been done the response was "What do you want me to do"...Very Very Poor Service.

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean (10/10 for the cleaners) and staff friendly HOWEVER the shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom and no toilet brush was supplied. Who ever made that business decision is an idiot. Bring back the toilet brush.

Poorly arranged parking and poor tv entertainment.

Booked a room with a spa bath, when I turned it on, black gunk came out of the jets. Clearly hasn’t been used or cleaned in a while. Booked and paid for that room for the bath and couldn’t use. When mentioned to the front desk staff upon check out, all I got was an apology, no partial refund or anything. Very disappointing

We found a previous tenants underwear in the closet. The carpet and furnishings were worn and cheap and the bed sagged.

I frequent Wollongong quite regularly to visit friends and family, and to this point Sage has generally been my preferred place of stay due to its gym. This was my third stay at Sage this year. My previous stays have been great, but my most recent has left much to be desired.
On my first night, I noticed a lot of mould in the grout of the shower. Enough to bother me, and staring me square in the face as I showered. The following morning I asked the gentleman at the front desk to request housekeeping to address it when they serviced the room. This was not done.
I then asked another lady at the front desk later that day to have housekeeping remove the mould, and she contacted housekeeping to do so. I could smell the bleach when I returned, but every bit of mould was still there. I was so bothered by it, I walked to the supermarket and purchased mould removal spray and cleaned the shower myself. And yes, the mould WAS entirely removed at my expense and own doing.
There was also a family spread across two rooms nearby, and the constant door opening, running and shouting in the hallways was off putting. Think of hearing a door opening and closing every 30 seconds - no exaggeration!
I was offered a comped upgrade from my third day, but declined as I was settled and had fixed the mould situation myself. It was an offer too little too late.
Parking also set me back $125 for 5 nights - they should’ve comped that!
This WAS my go-to hotel for Wollongong, but definitely not anymore!

I have always loved this hotel and stay often. This time i realised if left my charger cable plugged into the power point next to the bed. Not the most expensive item but with two long leads expensive enough to want back. I called hotel later that morning and they said it wasn’t turned in but that they would check with housekeeping and get back to me. I didn’t hear but have since checked again to be told it wasn’t found.

I have stayed here a few times now and everyttime one of the lifts is broken and the one remaining is so slow. Ruins an otherwise good experience

I was travelling for work and under a lot of pressure and was in an overwhelmed state. Rosemary on reception noticed and was absolutely outstanding, supportive and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed for my event that evening. She was on reception again when I left and I thanked her. This kind of caring service can not be taught you either have it or you don’t.
Rosemary went above and beyond her job in support of my stress levels. I could not be more grateful and will always return to the Sage hoping I can repay her kindness. Thank you Rosemary you are an outstanding human with a heart of gold.

Didn't like that fact that there was no hot water when i stayed & was not informed about it when i made my booking.

Great hotel. Really comfy beds.

King size bed which was two singles together. They separated during the night.
Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Shower has mold all around the base, silicone, it’s really not that hard to replace. A glass was dirty in the cupboard and the carpet could do with a clean.
