Location good. Right on beach but this is a 3-4 star establishment. Rooms are basic and there is no air conditioning, which was not a problem in November but would be in summer.

Nice hotel with perfect location. We had a room with direct sea view and it was really nice. Room was spaicy and comfortable. Hotel offers a really good breakfast, hot dishes changes every day. We are glad that we have chosen to live here

It was really nice in the hotel. Convenient. The breakfast was nice. It was clean. Good hotel. Only thing I'd say is the walls are kind of thin. There's a gap underneath the door so anytime people walk past your door you can hear conversations and I was on the first floor so I could hear everyone walk past for breakfast. Also if someone next door moved a chair or accidentally knocked the wall it felt as if they was in the room with you. Other than that it's a really nice hotel. Not far from bus stop to travel to other places either.

Fantastic location, especially for kite and windsurfing. Really chilled vibe in El Medano. The hotel itself was perfect for our needs. We had hired motorbikes to explore the Island and the only downside is the hotel didn’t have parking but not really an issue as we found free parking not far. All in all a great stay!

A very nice clean Hotel in Medano small village in the south of Teneriffa SUR airport. For airplane spotting very good, as the runway spotterplace can be reached in 30 mins walking distance. Nice room and wonderful breakfast buffett on a terrace by the sea. Taxi to airport only about 7 euros. Also good for longer stay because bus system is very good.

Excellent location, facilities and service. Thouroughly enjoyable stay. The only drawback was poor bus service to Costa Adeje and the airport. We had to rely on taxis.

The property was great. Exactly as described. I had a lovely (upgraded) room with a balcony directly over the water. Staff was very helpful. The only negative is the lack of parking. It is a very active little seaside town where I had to drive around for about 20 minutes to finally find a parking space. That was located about .25 miles away. Thankfully, I am in good shape. Lovely Stay.

Bear in mind that this is the first hotel ever built on the south coast of Tenerife, so it has many oldie-worldie qualities. No pool, but steps leading straight into the sea. Rooms are marketed as 'sea view' or (more expensive) 'ocean view' which is a complete con as they put you into whatever room is available when you arrive. The staff on reception are very unfriendly, never say hello, no itemisation of final bill, slight overcharging noted. Room service absent one day. Despite all this it is still the best location for us, not overrun, very pleasant environment, good communications.

It was a good location we enjoyed our stay, even though we were super cold at night. Seems like they don’t have heat and the the extra blankets they had were so hard and uncomfortable. Like a super old and rough. Tv didn’t work last two days we stayed. We wanted to try the restaurant one night, worse decision I ever made, I ordered a grilled chicken breast with rice and vegetables. I don’t know how they could make it so bad it was like eating plastic, of course I didn’t eat it, I couldn’t. The waiter Roberto was nice and friendly, did the right thing not charging for that meal but I still think the hotel management should know because I think is a crime trying to feed that food to people .

Great for a few days away. Very relaxed atmosphere, hotel staff so friendly. We had only B&B but the food we ordered was great, especially lunch on the balcony with “fizz”. Plenty of very good restaurants a little stroll away. Open the hotel door and everything at your fingertips. Our choice of week very important 1st WEEK IN June. Very quiet. We would , we will return.

We had chosen a sea view room with balcony and enjoyed the sound of the waves at night and the spectacle of the many kite surfers a bit further out in the windy bay as well as the life on the calm sandy beach, in the water (still 20 C in mid -December) and on the promenade and the market right at the hotel. We benefited from the stairway giving direct access into the water from the well wind protected sun deck of the hotel. For people like us who like to be in a relative native, Spanish environment, who do not care for a pool but prefer the sea, who also do not give great importance to fancy food (to be found rather in restaurants nearby) this hotel was very fine.

Medano hotel was a very good quality/price stay in the surfers town of El Medano. It is very conveniently located in the town center and next to the ocean. My room was on the fifth (top) floor with an amazing view of the surf and kitesurf spots. I will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Tenerife!

Amazing situation with steps into the sea from the sun deck is the highlight of this hotel. The uncrowded sun terraces on higher floors are delightful. However our room on the fourth floor with balcony and sea view was in desperate need of modernisation.

Pro : excellent location, sun deck on the sea, cleanliness, food and staff on sundeck, comfy large single beds others things to be aware of : partial sea view not full, town noise at the weekend, bad hot breakfast (didn’t eat it had yogurts croissants and cheese and fruit), no facilities in room (charges extra for use of basic 3 star amenities safe, fridge, kettle), old fashioned but clean bathroom

The hotel is worth maximum 40€ and definitely not 3*! The room is really old smelly. I had to keep the balcony door open to survive one night there. The bed is like there is no matrace. You basically sleep in the pock so when you wake up you feel like you met a train in the night. There is no shampoo or shower gel at the bathroom. The food is terrible. Coffee is like sweet instant something which I can't identify. Juice is not juice. It's just some sweet liquid which has just color similar to orange.
