The building is very old and smells bad. The room was a smoking room before they made it non-smoking. It smelled. The bathroom was old but clean. The window was sanded glass so it was not possible to check the weather from the room, one had to go outside to check it. The lack of coin laundry is definitely a negative.
The stuff is very friend and helpful!

The air conditioner is controlled centrally, so you can't get the room below 28C. We opened the window to cool the room down, but then had a bug problem. Do not recommend.

The hotel is a walking distance (5 minutes) from the Sendai Metrotech and shopping malls. The staff were extremely courteous, although at points, communication in English was challenging. I needed a cloth iron in the room, and they brought me one quickly. The breakfast buffet had many items of traditional Japanese food, and was very well prepared.

This is a standard Japanese businessman hotel. Clean, with breakfast, and efficient. As with all APA Hotels space is cramped but efficient.

It is a VERY CONVENIENT hotel to stay in if you need to be close to the Tohoku University Hospital. There is a small grocery (Miyagi Coop) nearby. A branch of the post office (JP post) is also on the same street. In the middle of the night you can also go to to the convenience store only a few buildings down the road.

Sendai is a sprawling city. There were restaurants somewhat close. They will not park a car over 155cm in the garage so parking was two blocks away. Hotel room was clean and the shower had great water pressure. No view but a good TV setup with lots of VOD.

Good and well located. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Conveniently located within walking distance from the main Tanabata festival events and night-life center. Not expensive, good value for money.

This was very near Tohoku University Hospital. It was an old hotel but there were a lot of convenience stores nearby and it was just a very short walk (4 minutes) to the Main Street Jozenji-dori Avenue.

I have been living in Sendai for a few years but I needed to stay in a hotel on the last night of my stay.Very nice and cozy place to stay even for a few days. Convenient at close to many restaurants within a walking distance. Jozenji Dori is a beautiful street to see.

The hotel was undergoing renovations of the lobby and some of the floors. They would start working about 9am so not too early and would be finished by 5pm. New Lobby is very nice. I had the breakfast buffet once--traditional Japanese food so not much I recognized beside steamed white rice and hot tea. The front desk staff had a range of English skills but I thought enough to get what I needed to know when I asked a question. Glad they did not have traditional Japanese toilets. TV--could not figure out how to turn on English Subtitles--limited number of stations. Did not use the VOD system. You need an adapter for computer plug in if you have 3 prong plug or difference sized 2 prong plugs--about $8.00 at local electronic store.

It was easy to find, yet the room had torn wallpaper and the carpet was old.

First of all, no one spoke any English at this hotel. Not even a little bit. Apparently, I arrived before their check-in and although no one was checking out, they didn't want to let me check in. I wasn't even staying for 24 hours as I had to return to Tokyo at 7am. I was extremely disappointed with their room. The bed was so hard as if I was sleeping on a board and the air conditioning didn't work so the room was stifling. I would never return to this hotel or this chain ever. Not to mention that I had luggage and the check in desk is located on the second floor. There are two flights of stairs to get there. No elevator! I was extremely disappointed!
