Modern resort built in traditional style, Beautifully situated on the lakefront. Helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Great value. Water access from parking lot which is extremely difficult to find due to lack of signs.
Highly recommended.

It is located in a quite area by the lake. Food is decent in terms of quality but not over the top stuff. The kitchen could be better stocked though.
The staff was friendly and helpful in spite of the property running full capacity. Overall, quite a value for money deal.

The hotel is adequate, fantastic location but poorly maintained.
The cooked breakfast is standard omelet, which is lovely though commonplace throughout India.
coffee is awful, standard Bru which is almost 50% chicory.
Our room was not cleaned and the bath tub not jetted.
Airport transfer at 1500 rupees is not available and we were charged 2500 to get to our next resort, Aquatic floating, just south of Kochi town.
They seem to be catering more for domestic visitors wanting family holiday as opposed to foreigners looking for an experience. This is a shame as the location is amazing, the lake view incredible and at night you can watch bats in the trees, providing there is not a pool party in progress to distract them.
They had their alcohol licence revoked & are keen to be paid cash, which l don't normally take issue with, but l felt odd on this occasion l certainly don't imagine much of the cash is passed to the workers, who though friendly did not seem well motivated.
The location and wild life saved this stay, l would not return.

The hotel is in beautiful location nothing short of idyllic. Preceded by a quaint boat transfer. On disembarkment the place looks fantastic....
The male receptionist, possibly manager was cold, he managed to make me feel l was intruding & l don't quite know how.
We stayed only 2 nights, whilst we were out for the day our room was not cleaned, so much for daily house keeping.
The food was adequate & restaurant staff far more hospitable, breakfast omelet was great though ready made white tea and coffee awful. The only juice was watermelon which was warm and we had to pay for a bottle of water.
The general maintenance is poor, shower over an old bath, which is not a jetted tub!
Were it not for the location I doubt this place would survive. Sadly l would not return.

We were there for 1 day stay and its good resort just beside the Vembanand Lake with an amazing view. If someone is out there for a relaxing stay, its a perfect place. Limited Choice for food but the taste is good and reasonably priced. Overall a thumbs up for any one who would want a short n Relaxing stay !!!!

Very friendly staff,
Lizards in room, Table tennis with no rackets. Carrom board in bad condition. Fishing available but no fishing rods available, carry your own. No wall restaurant meant we were dinner for mosquitoes.
Hotel has one of the best locations. Staff is very helpful in all ways and very well known hotel.
They only need a few more heads to take of the property. Bathroom was cleaned, but a dead cockroach remained untouched.
Consider it for the price and staff. Food is average.

I was especially ensured the wifi is working just on the time of the checkin but the wifi never worked. The hotel location is good but looks like it is managed by school kids. Do not expect any professional service though the people want to help the service level is of a cheap railway station hotel. I stayed between Aug 22 and 25

It's a wonderful cosy resort on the water. Small, private and beautiful. (there is a surprise going to this place- and i want to keep the silent for everyone to experience). Great Service. with some finer touches of extra luxury this can be a 5* Boutique and now i will give it a 4.5.

All the facilities and setup is extremely good!!! Only downside is the staff in Restaurant area.. That needs to be more groomed to handle guests, they lack spark in response or our while taking orders.. It got annoying sometimes.. Simple order for cold water was difficult to place..

Overall a great location and a very nice resort. However first thing that needs addressing immediately is free WiFi! Next is quality of food both for breakfast and dinner.

Booking room through Expedia is a bad experience, I would have got better deals 40% less if booked directly. Food at Coco Bay is horrible, We visited outside hotels to have food and avoided Coco-Bay. Fish item was not cooked (raw pieces), this was replaced but our appetite was lost could not eat it and had to pay for it.
Booking was done through Expedia using VISA card and received confirmation from Expedia. While settling the bill, they did not receive the payment. we had to pay the amount to settle the bill. Please check it at your end and confirm.

I stayed here 4 nights. Great resort for watching the sunset on the vast open lakes of Kumarakom and all the amazing birds like the Indian eagle and seeing the fisherman and boats. The rooms are comfortable. The food is an ok standard for Kerala food they do use a bit too much oil. Don't bother ordering any north Indian or the fish and chip it was the worst I'd ever had. The internet is a bit hit and miss but will get through. The staff are exceptional friendly and great playing pool with them and the owner is a diamond and very a interesting man great character.
For the price you are paying I think its good and nice.

The resort is in nice location with lake view. But some facilities have bothered me alot. Blankets are not clean and are short. A/C water was leaking. Shower water was not coming out gentle and instead shooting very sharply which was annoying. Water bottles kept in the fridge have additional VAT which is ridiculous. most of the fittings like windows and window curtains curtains are not fitted properly. when we tried to open windows, the locks came out and curtains fell down. 5K per night was way too high for this resort.

A great location, right on the lake's edge. More peaceful than other side of the lake at Allapey/Allapuzha which is very full of tourists out on houseboats. Here just some houseboats trundle by. There are also little boats used by locals gliding past. You can do boat trips around the backwaters, right from the hotel. The surrounding backwaters are smaller scale than Allapuzha but just as scenic.
Very well maintained pool.
Buffet food fine. A la carte food very good.

It was hot and muggy so we really enjoyed the pool. Nice to be right on the lake and we liked seeing all the birds in the early morning. Good place to unwind with a book in the hammock...but don't go if you need activity.

It is very nice resort with great location and neatly maintained and affordable charges. I wish I could have stayed there for couple of nights. I stayed there only for one night but still it was memorable one. good food, nice swimming pool and great lake view.

Hotel location and hospitality is good. Food is not worth the money.

rooms are very basic but adequate.
hotel staff were sometimes disorganized (rooms not cleaned until in a timely fashion) in some respects and overwhelmed when at full occupancy.
hotel staff were able to adequately organize laundry, transport to airport, and a canal tour.
hotel proprieters discouraged leaving hotel for recreation ('there's nothing to do or see in town'). hotel proprieters also discouraged leaving hotel for dining ('this is the best and most reliable place to eat' and 'food poisoning is common here') even though there are several top notch hotel restaurants nearby with much more extensive menus and similar or slightly higher price ranges.
