Location was excellent. The room itself was very small and barely could fit 2 adults comfortably. Do not book this room for a family, we definitely regretted doing it for a family of 4. Book 2 rooms for a comfortable family stay . Otherwise the staff was very courteous and very helpful. Definitely expensive for the size of the room and facilities offered.

TO be avoided. This Novohotel suitws shares the same building with an ibis budget, and offers even worse services than the most basic hotel in the Accor chain. Employees do not receive the most basic and elementary training. Look at this situation: I was leaving the hotel garage, late to go to the airport to catch an international flight, and there was an employee standing in her car next to the gate, which wouldn't open. After waiting a few minutes and honking the horn, I went to her and politely asked her to reverse so I could get out. She said she couldn't because there was a car parked behind her. I went to talk to him so he could back up, so she could clear the way, and he said it would be sorted out. Only then did I notice that they were both Novohotel employees, and were wearing their work uniform, each one, the man and the woman, in their own car. waited a little longer and when the situation was not resolved, I asked both employees to back up to clear the exit, to which the guy in the car behind said that the situation would be resolved. As another 5 minutes passed and my family was already nervous and worried, I spoke to Ambis again and demanded that they clear the way out, as there was a problem with the woman's access card, which the man - hotel employee -he said he didn't like my tone of voice and that he wouldn't leave.I told him that I would go up to complain to the management and he replied that I could complain to the Pope and he would not leave.Unbelieveble!

This is a clean and functional hotel. Beds, bedding, pillows and curtains are quality material. They do a daily clean as well. It takes about 10 minutes by Uber to get to the hotel from the Malaga Maria Zambrano train station. We did not purchase the breakfast option expecting plenty of cafes around the area and it did turn out like that. The hotel is within 10 minutes walking distance to old town core and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Also close to supermarkets. Underground parking is functional and hotel guests get a discount.

Good to have closed parking garage, but a bit far away from the center (10-15 min. walk) many drug addicts and homeless people near the hotel area and on the walking route to the center. So we felt uncomfortable, had to hide away the jewelry and watches we wear. Malaga seems not a safe city.

Great hotel. Plenty of space. Train station is 10 min taxi drive. Uber is also available here. All modern space saving ikea furnitures made the room look bigger. Everything was clean and fwlt brand new. Just on the other side, there were a few homeless people but they never bothered anyone. Walk to the center which is right across the canal is about 10 mins. Many restaurants are close by. Walking to the beach may take about 30-35 min. The breakfast spread was great. A very well placed and well maintained hotel.

Nice hotel but definitely needs some upgrades. A/C was not working properly for half of the day, next day was better. I personally did not like the separate toilet and away from the bathroom plus the sink in the toilet is sooo tiny most of the water goes to the floor. However the service was super, buffet was very good. All employees seemed to be very happy and nice specially Lola, she was amazing, doing almost everything from front desk to breakfast buffet, paying attention to all the details. Good job with customer service. Me and my wife were very impressed

The hotel is pleasant and clean (price could be a bit better); however, I would have liked to have cotton sheets rather than what's there. In addition, we paid for 1 extra bed, and we would like to have a real twin size bed rather than a sofa bed. Overall, it's still a good place to stay.

The main reasons for choosing this hotel were the location and room size. Unfortunately, the layout of the room meant it didn't feel particularly spacious. The bathroom and kitchen bar were clean but other parts of the room, e.g. around the sofabed, were a bit grubby and showed signs of wear and tear. Overall, it was a bit disappointing for the price paid.
