We had such a great experience at this Super 8 in Brenham. It's right next to a wonderful restaurant so that was very convenient for us. Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the housekeepers were so helpful with anything we requested. The front desk staff were very friendly and greeted us every time we were in the lobby. The kids loved the pool area. We travel to Brenham quite often, and will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. Breakfast was a lot more than what we expected from a Super 8 breakfast. I believe they just added fresh scrambled eggs to their menu which we enjoyed. This is probably one of the best Super 8 hotels we have stayed in. The room felt moist. The carpet was damp and the room smelled like mildew. The chair had stains on it, the ironing board was falling apart, the lamps were rusty. The bed felt wet and sticky. The staff was nice and helpful.

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Breakfast was hot! Couldnt ask for a better stay.

very good except elevator broken out of service

I am not sure why the front desk clerk got out of sorts. The agent went from being pretty reasonable and generally accomidating to rude. He went from saying I reminded him of a son to being accusotory when I was just trying to find a solution for the broken door. Even though I would love to give this property 5 stars, due to the agents negative interaction I could not.

room was not clean. the floors were poorly vacuumed or not vacuumed. the top of tables were not clean. room coffee maker did not work

Didn't have breakfast as stated online

The first t9me we stayed i fell tripping up the steps and they were very helpful working with the EMTs to get me in the room. The second stay was good as well; the staff was good to us even after we burned some pocorn in the microwave. The slip proof floor in the bathroom was great and all the door ways were big made it easy for me to get around beinv im on a walker.

Great service!

The bathroom was dirty, floors and baseboards needed scrubbing, the shower curtain needed to be washed and the tub needed to be scrubbed. The main room should have more than one chair (the one that was in there was uncomfortable). There was only one pack of coffee, there were three of us in the room. (Family room?). Breakfast was extremely minimal. Very disappointed.

We were on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator. I have a heart defect and had to climb the stairs. The beds were hard and the pillows were like rocks. Needless to say we won’t be staying there again.

The room was disgusting!! Here’s a list of everything we found awful about this place: 1. The hallway was filthy dirty, lots of visible dirt everywhere on the dark, dingy dated carpet!! 2. The room was also incredibly dark, dingy, dated and again, carpet was visibly dirty! 2 tiny charms and pieces of paper were found on the carpet. It also stunk real bad in one corner. The last night we found another charm btwn our 2 beds that wasn’t there that morning! 3. The fridge stunk SO BAD that every time we opened it we held our breath and the whole room stunk afterwards! 4. Each day the housekeeper made the bed, emptied the trash, gave fresh wash cloths and that was it! The coffee was never replenished either day! 6. Our last evening, my daughter noticed she had peculiar bites on her abdomen. We pulled the sheets back and noticed the mattress cover had a yellow urine stain!! Also, teeny tiny black debris on the cover. Don’t know what it was so she slept with me that night. Unfortunately, I paid in full for the room when I booked, so I didn’t feel I could leave. This was during RT antique fair so finding another place wasn’t likely either. Sadly, I booked it as a mother-daughter trip and I was SO disgusted and embarrassed!!! I had planned to tell the front desk at check out abt all the issues, but every morning it was unmanned. I have never publicly complained about a business and I’ve never left a negative review for a business before either, but this was really bad! !!AVOID!!

Clean and quiet, well equipped room. Restaurant adjacent to parking lot. Great check in. This is my second time at this property.

Pros: Beds were comfortable. There is a steak & seafood restaurant next to the hotel that was reasonable priced and delicious. Room was clean. Window's opened up. It was quiet and didn't hear outside noises. Cons: Expedia had hot tub listed as an amenity but when we got there, there was only a room with a hot tub, no hot tub for all guests access. Ad was a little misleading. We couldn't get the TV to work, only had static. The extra lock latch on the door was missing a piece so we weren't able to use it.

Coke machine out of order Ice machine had brown sludge in ice Smoke alarm went off twice second time at 5am and waited an hour to have them take out battery woke everyone up needs a refresh on paint and carpet towels like sand paper and water pressure poor staff nice, TV worked no prompt service and property needs help with upgrades

Friendly and helpful staff but hotel was starting to show signs of wear and tear. Rusting bathroom fixtures and broken tiles. Breakfast was subpar at best. It was located right next door to a steak and seafood restaurant.

There was dog poop in the lobby

Front desk personnel were excellent room was fine, could use updating. Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

This hotel is in serious need of a remodel. The rooms don’t smell very good and everything is worn and grimy.

The rooms were unusually large and cozy and it was a very nice, safe atmosphere that was very quiet.

It's an older property with no elevator for second floor rooms. Room carpeting could be changed etc.

Hotel was convenient near wedding venue.

The only thing that needed improvement was the breakfast, tiny cups of juice, no bacon or eggs.

Management was really nice and hospitality was awesome

No elevators. Expect to carry bags up stairs. Room was hot. Could have turned on A/C prior to us getting there. It was clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was waffle and cereal

2.00 is a little much to charge for a can drink and the breakfast choices wasn’t that great for a dibetic customer you really have nothing to offer breakfast wise.
