Spent a few days here. Young and pleasant staff serving with an honest smile.
It’s clean and good, worthy of your hard earned money.
However, remember to bring hearing protection to get a good sleep. Both your own and your neighbors air conditioning will be heard. People falling in at night or early morning banging doors will be heard and also the minibar that activates once in a while. If you block out the sounds you will have a great visit!

A large hotel in central Patong, Amata Patong is in a great location - close enough to the Bangla Road party and Patong Beach to be convenient while just far enough away to not be in the middle of the craziness.
My room was on the north side of the hotel, a separate wing with its own elevator. This side of the hotel seemed a bit older.
There was no window in my room (except for a small frosted vent in the bathroom), so if that's important to you make sure you confirm a window. A wooden door led to a small balcony overlooking the alley behind; I didn't use it.
Unfortunately, I found that wing of the hotel noisy, especially during the day. The hallway echoes the noise from the cleaning staff, painters, and other guests. Nighttime was generally quiet.
The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the bathroom, while a little cramped, was very good. I liked the shower stall, which offered lots of hot water.
I do not recommend the restaurant for breakfast. It's pricey and the food was not heated through. I had to complain about the watery coffee and cold food the first time I went there and staff worked to make improvements. The omelette bar was the one saving grace, as you could get fresh, hot food there. I heard several guests complain about the breakfast.
There are many alternatives for breakfast in the area, though Patong lacks the café culture that's so glorious in other parts of Thailand.
Amata Patong has two beautiful pools and I took advantage of both.

We had already stayed few nites previous so decided another nite before, phi phi , good location

Nice & comfortable stay

The room was clean and comfortable. The only issues I had was the water pressure kept changing in all the taps and when the pressure changed the water temperature changed as well. The only other thing was the TV's were too small for viewing while on the bed. But the size of the TV's are mentioned while booking, so you can't really complain.
The area can get a bit noisy, but you are walking distance from the action.
When I booked for the king size bed, it was one king size matress, not 2 singles put together.
The air con has a digital control and is easy to use.
The room is also comes with an umbrella for your walks.

Friendly staff, rooftop pool and good dining on site. Great location - walking distance to Jungceylon, Bangla Rd and Patong Beach..7 -Eleven across the road. Good Laundry out the back.

Staff were awesome. Pool was great.
Internet was unstable, tv in room hardly connects to their own WiFi.
Window shakes when windy.
Shower temperature not stable, hot water comes in waves, had a really hard time bathing my children.

We absolutely love Amata Patong which is why we keep coming back! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the hotel staff are absolutely amazing, anything we needed someone was always there to assist us, and we had no troubles with language barriers. Thank you for hosting us again Amata!

Property is well managed though it’s old. Initially they have not provided me the room as it should be.. Next day they changed it.Room size is pretty small compared to price and no balcony is there.

I recently stayed for four nights at the Amati hotel and was pleasantly surprised about how clean , friendly and central it was. Location wise it was a five minute walk from the main shopping centre in Patong beach with many shops and restaurants with just a few minutes walk further on to the infamous Bangla Road, with the beach at the bottom of it. Hotel rooms were a good size with everything you need and were very clean. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful so should be commended. The downstairs pool was relatively small but convenient but there was also an eighth floor swimming pool on one of the blocks which was small but heavenly as you could submerge yourself whilst looking out at 360 views of this beautiful location.
Location is key for this particular hotel with food options and countless massage shops everywhere, if you are keen to be within walking distance of the beach and the central nightlife along with the fantastic shopping options on your doorstep and I would highly recommend this hotel.
For me, the highest compliment I can give is that when I return to Phuket in the future, this will be my first choice of locations as it was excellent value for money.

The hotel was quite good including staffs and facility. I stayed the most budget room, the view from my room was the wall of next building. If I say a request, want them let me know the view from the room.

Until the bar across the street goes away, I will not stay. Do not listening to live rock and roll blasting until 2:30 or 3:00 every morning and motorcycle groups that hang out there at night reving their engines when the bar closes at 3:00. Not hotels fault, but you need to understand it is loud.

This Hotel Has the Best Management, with very professional and polite employees, MS. Mint was one of the most polite and professional managers i have ever met.
Highly recommended this hotel if you are visited Patong

The staff and facilities were outstanding. I wish that I had booked one of the newly renovated rooms. That said, the view from my balcony was fantastic overlooking both the busy street and the pool.
I cannot wait to visit again.

Amata patong has some of the nicest staff you will ever meet, never ever rude and tremendously helpful

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is divided into three buildings. My building could travel use a bit of rejuvenation. Other than that the room was comfortable and clean. The housekeeping staff was very good.
There are two cool one on the roof and one at the level. I utilized the link on level it was clean and well maintained. The restaurant was very nice and offered a pretty diverse buffet breakfast.
Location is in the middle of a very touristy area. It is in walking distance into a lot of nightlife and beaches. There is a little bit congested and can be noisy. This hotel was a bit away from the noise so it was not a factor, but the congestion was. Tuk Tuks widely available, but I chose to walk most places as it was actually easier and faster.
I would recommend this hotel if you want to be close to all the nightlife.

No hot water.
The deadbolt did not work, they fixed it with a big hammer.
Room was on 6th floor with a view of a gutted out old building.
A note was in my room saying the elevators would not be working the next morning.
When I checked out, I told them there was no hot water. No apology, nothing.

Clean and upscale hotel. The location makes it easy for walking to the beach and Bangla Rd area. The bedroom, bathroom and balcony were all nice. Rooftop pool had a great view too and was not too active/busy. Gym was very limited but good enough for a vacation gym to burn some calories

Guys this is an excellent hotel as it Meets all my needs. I stayed in December for 2 weeks. Special thanks to Dona and Mint for compensating my airport ride for the time I lost when my room lock was not working. Also special thanks to Marwan & his boss for providing me with the best room that I really enjoyed. I always stay at Amata and will do so in future as well. They have also performed a lot of improvements since Covid like new restaurant dining area, better breakfast with variety etc

The place across the rd has heavy metal bands that start at 11pm and finish at 4.30am every night, sounds like your sleeping in there, so if you don’t like sleeping this place was ok, great breakfast, both pools are a bit weird

The property was nice and good location. The staff was very bad, we got double charged for our room service, could not find my laundry, first room did not have AC. I do not recommend it, it’s not worth staying at a nice property with bad staff
