Perfect location, clean and comfy room, welcoming staff, fantastic food. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

Very friendly place to stay. Close to the town centre but with a prime location on the seafront.
Great breakfast!

Great place and staff. Enjoyed my stay.

Great place, great people, great entertainment and food. Only concern would be parking.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room very clean, comfy beds and pillows good nights sleep. Great food especially the selection of desserts and a freshly cooked breakfast. Perfectly positioned to get to all the local sights.

Please avoid, very poor experience. Our shower did not work and particular staff were rude, rolling eyes at guests, seemed to have guests who were their friends and were rude to others. The noise was unbearable, there was music and a DJ playing that you could hear all the way down the promenade and in our room which was above the noise, it was the only thing you could hear. We were not informed that this would be the case by staff. We made the decision to check out a day early as we were unable to relax. Very upsetting experience and unless you are a big pub goer I would avoid at all costs.

Everyone was really nice and they let me keep my suitcase with them though I'd checked out

Good for a few days, good breakfast and location. Parking isn’t the easiest and the room had no AC and was incredibly stuffy. Bathroom pretty small.

The Inn is run by the loveliest bunch of people that you could hope to meet. They were so accommodating and friendly, tried to help make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible, also giving advice on the local area. Would love to return. Kids had a great time too and were thrilled with the room. Shower was hot with decent pressure, the beds were comfortable and in room amenities were perfect. Breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice of hot food. More fruit choices would be the only other thing that we could have wished for. The location is great. Jubilee Pool (outdoor thermal swimming pool) is a short walk away. The coastline can be followed in either direction towards st Michael’s Mount or Mousehole. Penzance harbour is also close by for boat tours.
Thank you so much to the staff and especially the lovely man on the desk for all his help!

Great location right opposite the promenade. Room was large and clean with kettle and tea/coffee. Breakfast was
great with cereal, juice and hot buffet. Great place to get to Lands End, Michaels Mount and the Miniarc outdoor theatre.
2.5
Great position with lovely views over the sea. Very helpful staff. Room was a good size and very comfortable.

Breakfast every morning was also very good.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

Cheerful pub
Room was clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels when needed
Staff were all lovely really friendly and helpful - bar 1
Breakfast was tasty with a good range - a choice of eggs would have been a nice addition
Cereals, fruits, juices and toast always available as well as the buffet style full breakfast
They also have a full evening menu and a Sunday carvery
I had a room to side at the front - great view of the sea towards Jubilee pool
Value for money is good

The staff were fantastic - helpful, friendly-...steve, klara, ross and all. Best of all, as a solo female traveller of a ' certain age' , i wasn't made to feel invisible.
Thanks, guys!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was great, and the room quite comfortable.

Comfy room with everything you need for a short stay. Nice location, friendly staff and wonderful food in the restaurant.

We had room 5 which had a bay window over looking the sea, the room was dated and the decoration was tiered.
the breakfast times were to early for us 8.00 - 9.00. the restaurant was great freshly cooked meals.
2.5
Nice location, clean but basic room, shower wasn't very good, could do with an update.
Good food evening meals available. Breakfast ok but don't start until 8am, if working then be aware.
Parking could be tricky, sea front currently free but not many spaces.
All staff seem friendly. Walls are pretty thin and layout is quirky

We've stayed here previously so when we decided to return to Penzance, Lugger Inn was our first choice. Beautifully decorated, inside and out. Great chef, great food, great service, great location.

A friendly environment where nothing is to much trouble to help you 💓 everything about the Lugger is fantastic.

Old building with charm and stairs. Full hot buffet breakfast. Room very comfortable with sitting area to watch pedestrians along the strand. Coffee and tea in room. 20 minute walk from bus/train station. Food trucks on strand, restaurant on bottom. Lidl groceries a 5 min walk away. Pubs and shopping close by. Bring a rain jacket.

Just lovely stay fantastic carvery too

Clean, fresh and tidy. Everything I needed for a short stay - including a fan which was critical!!!
Parking, not quite as easy as expected - did end up in a car park, with additional cost.

The shower was a bit challenging to get the right temperature but after awhile got it sussed

Staff were great and helpful.
Good food. Sheets clean.
Only negative was toilet (dodgy flush) and shower (very low pressure) but fine for the cost.

The location, staff, rooms, quality of food absolutely fantastic, the room I was in was a little hot but bearable especially considering it had the sun in it from morning until night, it could have done with a fan or something but like I said it was bearable, the only thing missing from the room was an iron but other than that it was perfect.
The room was really spacious, cleaned daily, the breakfast was one of the best hotel buffet breakfasts I have had for a very long time.
The bar prices were very fair, £4-£5.50 a pint, the even meals were very well portioned and at a fair price.
It was a quiet hotel, I hardly heard any of the other guests and considering I was above the bar hardly heard them even though it was fairly busy… and I had the windows open.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
3.0
Excellent and polite staff. Room was kept clean everyday. The rooms needs maintenance - old curtains, toilets dated, no exhaust in toilets.
2.5
The breakfast was excellent and the service the same and super friendly (without being in your face). It’s right on the sea front so really convenient for everything. Parking can be tough, but I was lucky. I’d definitely stay here again if ever in the area!
3.0
Good location, but outdated furniture, tiny bathroom, uncomfortable beds and paper - thin walls. Breakfast was ok, but poor quality.
1.5
Kitchen extractor fan directly below room and could be heard from bedroom. Cooking fumes/smells came straight through window. Lack of mirrors and getting ready areas and the bed creaked and mattress looked old and only 1 accessible plug socket.

We had a lovely stay, the staff is extremely friendly, location is brilliant, right next to the sea, near the Jubilee Pool and very close to Newlyn. All the amenities were nearby. Breakfast was included, which is a lovely bonus. We were late once, but we’re still allowed to have breakfast. Food is absolutely lovely.
The room was spacious with a sea view and it was cleaned and towels have been changed everyday.
The shower pressure was a bit low though and overall needs a bit of tlc.

so sad won’t be returning here again a little run down we’ll a lot actually evening staff very rude room was a dump even the sea veiw couldn’t hide the fact it was horrible so sad but never ever again………steer clear

The hotel is located on the sea-front and within easy walking distance of the town centre and the bus station. Good-sized rooms, well prepared and enjoyable breakfast and dinner and the bar offers a wide selection of drinks. Full marks too for the staff, who are polite and helpful.
