Very quiet area I would only recommend to upgrade the mattress. Staff was wonderful.

Portugal and it's people are gentle and kind. We have visited many times and love it north to south. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road is a real gem. Only 7 rooms - ours even had a wood burning stove (yes it did). More oranges than you could eat in a lifetime and so quiet at night you can hear them grow. This location is worthy of your time and is a great value if slow and easy is your mission. Go with the flow here - take a walk - eat an orange - meet a burro - say hello to your partner. We did enjoy ourselves...

Secluded, artsy, historic, great breakfast. Definitely a place to relax. I heard that our room will be remodeled and the only thing i would change is the sunken tub. For some people it could be hard to get in and out of.

The reason I selected the Imani Country House was its proximity to the Almendres Cromlech, an arrangement of stones that pre-dates Stonehenge. Therefore, as expected, it was in the middle of nowhere on dirt roads. It was a beautiful place with orange and olive trees, lovely roses, two pools, and luxurious rooms with a fully-stocked mini-bar. We had some issues with service (e.g., being given the key to a room that was already occupied, the restaurant and front desk not being opened at advertised hours, and not receiving exactly what we ordered at the restaurant); however, if you're willing to be understanding in order to stay close to the megaliths, then this is the place!

Lovely rural boutique hotel. Just 7 large rooms - ours had a fireplace that we used and enjoyed - with a very good restaurant. The staff did a great job with our English only limitation. There is a Neolithic circle nearby that one can walk to

Very quiet - no sounds of traffic ! Down a dirt road just 7 rooms. We stayed in Room 6 which had a bizarre sunk Bath designed by aliens. The staff were terrific and the setting peaceful but close enough for Evora - 20 euro taxi - or 15 mom drive

Very comfortable and relaxing - no coffee in room that’s annoying and breakfast not until 9.30am

Beautiful estate, very well decorated. The rooms are big and comfortable. The area is remote and therefore ideal when looking for some quiet time. The service is impeccable and the staff put a lot of attention to detail. You really feel well taken care of. Great experience overall

Great relaxing place. It is pretty remote and that's great. Very beautiful room and landscapes. The two pools are great. Claudia was amazing. We had a great time and highly recommend it !

Excellent, friendly, thoughtful & very helpful staff e.g. the one morning we woke up to rain and someone had kindly left an umbrella outside our front door. The restaurant & wine list was excellent and appropriately priced, but what really stood out was the off the menu vegetarian dishes they prepared. The best way to summarise our stay - each morning we felt 100% invigorated & refreshed to go explore - something a lot of hotels dont get right! A really top experience!!

We stayed here last minute whilst visiting various neolithic sites, the largest of which is very close to the hotel. We subsequently altered our plans and stayed another night to have more time to enjoy the hotel since it exceeded our expectations!
The hotel as a country house has only 7 rooms, thus it is never overcrowded. There are 3 pools, the staff are friendly and very considerate of its guests. It's as close to a private villa as we have experienced, with the bonus of not needing to cook! The grounds are quite beautiful. Given the proximity to the cromlech circle we had two trips there, one at night when no one else was around, very enjoyable! Breakfast was good and ultimately we would return.

This place is absolutely amazing. It is a bit out of the way from the city of Evora, so if you're looking to be close to the city, this isn't your place. That said, it's within walking distance of neolithic ruins, and it's such a beautiful property that you'd be wasting your visit to leave it at all. The sprawling grounds are absolutely gorgeous to wander day or night -- a beautiful place to eat and drink and relax and stargaze. Great staff, too.

We were looked after so well by the friendliest staff. From making us a meal when we arrived late to taking the time to help us with any questions about the area, best places to visit and teaching us Portuguese nothing was too much trouble for them.
A beautiful quiet area with a pool and gorgeous views and orange trees.
I highly recommend it.

The accommodations were very nice but we did not have a proper introduction to the eccentricities of the room. Additionally, we were without hot water for 2 nights. The staff readily corrected it in the mornings. My issue is that after an one evening without hot water, why did evening 2 persist or happen?
