The hosts were really nice people and will definitely stay again as food was 5 star as well, couldn't do enough for us and even gave good advice on food restaurants and places to visit lovely clean cosy room fantastic thank you.

Owners have done a great job with the property, and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. Comfortable bed. All rooms have en-suite bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee provided in room. Delicious breakfast. Will stay there again next time I am in Bridlington.

We were in a very pleasant, clean room with en suite and there were nice extras added e.g. dressing gowns, slippers, bottles of water. The breakfasts were excellent.... a good choice of options and, where applicable, cooked perfectly. Welcoming and friendly hosts. The beach is just a short walk away. We would definitely go back again to this property.

Lovely little b&b, 10/10 for the hosts Steve and Tony! Made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of tips for places to visit, eat etc. breakfast was wonderful with great selection.

Fabulous 1 night stay in this b&b. Friendly owners, the homemade shortbread and robe and slippers in the room were a lovely touch and the breakfast was delicious, would stay here again.

Fabulous hotel run by really friendly proprietors who provide an attentive service. Rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We had 2 nights at South Lodge which was convenient for Bempton cliffs. From arrival to departure Steve & Tony made us extremely welcome. The hotel was really clean & well presented. Breakfast was delicious & lots to choose from. We had a really enjoyable stay & will return on our next visit to Bempton.

Excellent immaculately clean guest house a short walk from Bridlington sea front. The breakfast is exceptional and I defy anyone to leave this place hungry. Lovely host and would have no hesitation recommending this guest house.

Responded to emails quickly, Steve was lovely and gave a warm friendly welcome. He was helpful and gave us the info we needed re directions, taxi's, restaurants etc. Rooms were clean, the right temperature, welcoming, and very comfortable. Loved the duck down quilt and bed was v v comfy. Bathroom v v clean. Tony was a great host for breakfast, smiley and friendly and chatty. Steve's breakfast was gorgeous as was his home-made shortbread in the room. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all. Thank you xx

Great room, warm welcome. Great touches that just make all the difference, bath robe and slippers. Homemade lemon shortbread to die for. Lots of choices for breakfast, cooked really well and served with friendly northern chat on the side. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed.

Very welcoming couple. Extremely clean bedroom, home made shortbread a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious, first class produce, had to down size there was that much. Could have had a variety of choices. Extremely convenient for town and beach plus various sites of interest. Highly recommend. Definitely stay again.

We liked everything about this place , very friendly hosts , very clean , home made biscuits in your room were a nice touch. Bathrobes were even supplied for us to use . The breakfast was well above average- very tasty - if my fiancee hadn't been sat opposite me , i would've licked my plate- lol . Would definitely recommend this place & we will definitely return . The only down side to our visit was that we were only staying for one night. Home from home.

fantastic hotel.the couple who own it steve n tony are amazing.rooms spotless n all new stuff.loafs a tea coffe hot chocolate n even homemade shortbread.the breakfast was best id had .could not fault this hotel will def be back.

The place is amazing, there are so many nice touches from homemade shortbread in the room, Bottled water, chocolate. It really is one of the best B&B in Bridlington. would not stay anywhere else we love the place.

Great value for money. 2 minute walk to the beach, local restaurants and close to the harbour. The hosts were fantastic, attentive and very welcoming. The room was well equipped and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great also lots of choice and delicious food. Overall a wonderful experience and would strongly recommend south lodge to anyone visiting Brid!

Steve and Tony were excellent hosts, who passed on knowledge of places to go. Breakfast was superb, catering for gluten and dairy free requirements, as well as vegan and vegetarian options and offering selected food choices if you did not want the full breakfast.

We were greeted by Steve with a big smile, He told us the key was in the door and to go straight up, we entered a bright sunny room, first thing i noticed was a full length mirror and dressing gowns and slippers. The tea tray had home made biscuits, and a note welcoming us, also a information sheet, about where to eat ect. In the wardrobe was a hair dryer and a iron ( ironing board down side of wardrobe) . There was a glass and a bottle of water on each bed side table. also a chocolate on the pillow. In the bathroom there was cotton bubs, eye pads cotton wool, and a makeup removal cloth. Theses guys have thought of everything. The breakfast was superb. It was about a 15 minute pleasant walk into town. We will be back.

Everything was spot on from arrive and leaving . Rooms lovely deco very clean . Plenty of tea coffee etc. Plenty of choice for breakfast . Very enjoyable.

Stayed here for one night and booked it simply due to its location. So pleased we did, as it is a fantastic place. Its location is just one plus point - all the attractions of Bridlington are reachable on foot. Our room was lovely - very clean and felt very luxurious - chocolates on pillows, robes and slippers, really comfy bed!!! Everyone was really friendly. The breakfasts were delicious, and there was so much choice. We had a great night's stay, and will definitely be back.

Recently had the pleasure of staying a few nights at South Lodge. Very friendly & helpful staff, the room was lovely & clean, nice little touches on arrival like home made biscuits. Everything was well organised, breakfasts were lovely, central to everything. would definitely book there again.

We loved the comfortable accommodation with everything we needed especially comfortable armchairs in our room for watching tv which isn't always the case at other places. Lovely welcome from the owners and excellent breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks.
