The hotel was beautiful, we were upgraded for free to a suite. We had a beautiful dinner two evenings on the rooftop, and breakfast by the pool, staff were excellent, good location, short walk into town

Very happy with our stay overall. Good location. Incredible views from hotel rooftop and magnificent hotel art. Had issues with driver accommodations and there were many professional photographers on the rooftop on a daily basis including wedding preparations during out stay.

Although quite new, Chunda Palace recreates the traditional luxury of royalty, with hand painted walls and marble bathroom. Service was excellent, although food was just average. Views if the lake from the rooftop restaurant were stunning.

The views from the Chunda Palace are beautiful. The rooftop pool with indian architecture to the detailed hand painted rooms and hallways are truly amazing. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. I definitely recommend this palace.

The historical suite was amazing! The food was good and room service was great. The only poor service was during breakfast where locals clearly received favorable service. We had to ask for coffee and tea at least four times while others were served before us. The local area was outside the main tourist area. The palace itself was really beautiful with great views from rooftop and beautiful lighting at night.

Stayed with family, 2 rooms. Comfortable, clean, great breakfast Didn't get a chance to explore the rooftop pool, not heated. No gym. Amazing traditional decor. A bit pricey.

I really loved our stay at Chunda Palace and look forward to returning there soon! The aesthetics of the spaces, the comfort of the rooms, and the graciousness of the staff was amazing! Also, I booked on the internet and was afraid of something not going on (because I had not spoken to a staff member personally). But it was needless--my stay there was perfect!

Away from the old town but close to the beautiful Pichola lake. Great view from the roof top restaurant and pool. Enjoyed our stay there. Wish I could extend our stay few for few more days.

Nice hotel. A lot of effort appears to go into the common areas, but not necessarily the rooms. Ours needed some work. Some cleaning of one of the doors and perhaps some paint would freshen it up. One of the nozzles was missing from the wall in the shower and water wouldn't even come out of the others. But the overhead shower worked fine. The size of the room is over-sized, which is nice. Ate both dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were great.

This hotel does not deserve to charge the rates is does. It competes with other 5 star hotels in the area and has no right to. The rooms are filthy. There was fungus on the walls, crud in the toilets, fused light bulbs, electrical appliances that dont work, staff that doesnt care, lumpy pillows and mattresses, no heating and no windows that let air in. No ventilation. They charged us over 200£ a night and were absolutely smug about their incompetence. I can tell you a lot more but please do yourself a favour and do not stay here.
