Very peaceful and relaxing settled in a beautiful tropical garden few steps away from a pristine beach with views over the magical Phang nga bay scenery.
The definition of luxury is different from what you might expect . Luxury is the peace that surrounds you, the design and architecture , attention to details and the location.
The staff and the owners are very welcoming and helpful whatever you may need. Loved that resort

Only one complaint but it was a big one - the lack of air conditioning was a real problem when we visited during the warm season in April. It was simply too hot to be comfortable. Im sure during more temperate times of year this would be a lovely place to visit.Staff and service are excellent. We enjoyed the open air restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. The villas are spacious with shielded outdoor showers. It required a three-stage trip from the Phuket airport to reach the hotel, but it was arranged by the hotel at our request and all went smoothly.

We had a wonderful stay at the Koyao Bay Pavilions. James and his team gave us a wonderful welcome and tour of the site and got us pointed to some local spots for food and scooter rental that all worked out great. If anything, we wish we would’ve stayed longer at the Pavilions as it was so nice and secluded from the rest of the normal tourist spots in Phuket and Krabi. If you’re looking to unplug, relax and get away from things this is the perfect spot!

The grounds and villa were beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. We took the excursion to the nearby islands and it was the best part of our trip.

Beautiful villa on an amazing island! Stayed here with some friends and had a fantastic time. The staff were very attentive and could not do enough for us. Situated on a lovely quiet island not far from the mainland that I would definitely recommend visiting.

The location is a 45 minute boat ride from crazy Phuket (or Krabi) and once you arrive you have officially left the bustle of the world. We entered deep relaxation here while hanging out in the private relaxation hut. James, the host, made our stay personalized and exceptional. For example, one day we expressed interest in kayaking to a small isolated island one mile away. A couple hours later there was a kayak on the beach, a lunch packed in waterproof containers, and bottles of water waiting for our adventure. Another day he helped us get some bikes and we rode casually around the entire island. The restaurant at the resort is fantastic -- everything we ate was fresh (we even saw a cook run out of the kitchen, knock a papaya down from a tree, and run back to the kitchen) and expertly prepared. The room was immaculate -- like nowhere I have ever stayed before. It was on the one hand connected to the surrounding jungle via open walls and the lack of windows (wooden slats only). On the other hand, it was luxurious and comfortable. We basically put on our swim suits when we arrived, and only changed back into normal clothes when it was time to leave.Staying here was the absolute highlight of our Thailand trip. After tons of awesome touring, we were so happy to end our trip here.

If you are looking for anything other than a completely relaxing time, than this resort is not for you. We(family of 5 including 3 teenagers) spent a couple nights here before going to Phuket island for the remainder of our trip. The only regret is I didnt stay longer. James, and the staff at Koyao Bay Pavilions, were professional and extremely helpful in making our stay exactly the way that we wanted it. From the fresh food each day, to the excursions that were adjusted to see what our family desired. I could not recommend this resort more. James, on a personal note, thank you for all your advice on Songkran, getting around Phuket, and your overall kindness, we are grateful for your hospitality!

Koyao Pavilions is not a 5 star resort as in a 'swim up bar' or 500 hundred people around. What it is, is a lovely setting, beautifully understated accommodations, and great staff. Our host, Oliver was most gracious in greeting us when we arrived and again at each meal. The restaurant is open air and food was fantastic; best we had on the island. There were plenty of regional choices and other options if you were wanting a western flavor. They had a full bar and good wine selections were always available. While all activities were not on the property we were able to rent bikes, scooters, boats or whatever else you could want through the staff. They set up our transportation and activities easily. We stayed at the far 'pavilion', about an 8 minute walk to the beach, which was a two bedroom with a common kitchen/dining area and our own pool. It was just what we were looking for, tropical beauty without all the chaos of a large resort.
