This would have been a 5-star review except for one thing. Their internet is awful. To say it's spotty would be a complement. When it does connect, it frequently drops in and out requiring near constant sign-ins. This is not good for travelers who rely on the web for travel info. It forces you to choose roaming on your phone which can be very expensive. Nice room, great location and restaurant. Too bad about the internet issues.

Lucie and her team were amazing, helpful served us food when we arrived a little late no problems.
The hotel is 30 metres from the beach and a big reason we chose it.
We will return what a find.
The picture is a view from our room.

I would say this hotel is shabby chic. The bedroom we had was on the corner with a lovely view of the sea. The room was small but clean . The main areas were not at all plush but serviceable. The staff were very pleasant and my husband had the best Caesar salad he has ever eaten. The menu was small but very good food. The room could be noisy if people are eating late. There is no air con so keeping the window open for the sea breeze is a must. There is s fan if you need to close the window on the revellers. We enjoyed our stay.

For us the room was clean, nice but it s noisy inside the hotel and as well outside the hotel. Staff is nice and try to do their best because the owner is not friendly with his customer, he is only with the regular friends/customers. He doesn't know how to manage his staff, his hotel, his restaurant. He do not say Hello or Welcome or if we need something. We do not recommend it. I m sure you can find a real hotel and restaurant owner respectful with his customers

A lovely hotel, ideally located for the beach. The hotel is charming and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal at the hotel too. However, for other restaurants you will have to go for a bit of a walk. Otherwise, a super stay for a short break :)

Unexpectedly perfect. The staff were the nicest we met on our trip, the room was great and it's great value. Downstairs is a great looking wine bar, we were planning to head out for dinner and ended up eating there and had possibly the best meal of our whole trip with undoubtably the best service. Of course we grabbed breakfast in the morning after a beach swim. So incredibly glad we stumbled into this little gem of a hotel.

We arrived late and the restaurant had just closed but the staff heated us up some delicious food. Thank you so much, made our family feel at home.

A nice, friendly hotel that's very close to the beach and only a short walk from the Marina. We only stayed one night but everything fine. Great value.

The hotel is absolutely charming. Rooms are a bit small, but our room ad enough room for two. The beach is right across the street and also the services are within a walking distance. Special credits to the owner, who was very welcoming and nice during our stay.

Had a nice stay. Hotel is just across the street from the beach. Staff was very nice and manager spoke pretty good English. You have to make arrangements if you are arriving late because they are closed for registration after about 8pm, other than that no complaints.

Very friendly and helpful staff and management. Hotel is in a great location, parking might be difficult in the high season, but there are good car parks 5 minutes walk away

Quaint beach hotel across the street from the beach nothing to complain about except for the lack of air conditioning. Hotel seems to be well kept for its age and the staff were first rate.

La Plague du Gedeon was a great place to stay for a couple of days. Close proximity to Carnon beaches and the manager at the hotel spoke great English and was very welcoming. We had a room on the first floor, #3 that was facing the beach and had lots of windows. Shower is a little tight, but hey it's Europe, what isn't. For the price it was a great place to stay. Could of stayed their longer than two nights. So glad we stayed here versus downtown in Montpelier.

Hotel is a one star small family run business right across from a beautiful sweep of sand and the blue Mediterranean. Our room window looked out onto the beach and we woke up to this each morning. The family who run the Hotel are extremely friendly and helpful ( and speak excellent English). Breakfasts were plentiful and the evening meals we had in the restaurant were excellent examples of good French cuisine. The rooms are sparse but cleaned every morning and clean towels put out. Montpellier - an old French centre of culture and architecture - is nearby and easy to get to by tramway. The beautiful Camargue countryside around is aching to be discovered, so a hired car is necessary. Great place for a quiet yet intensely rewarding holiday if that is what is required.
