Quiet and secluded with excellent staff and high end facilities (including a nice onsen setup). The included half-board meals were extensive and very good, and probably required given the relative lack of other options anywhere nearby in summer season. Feels like a private resort. If you are looking for an escape in Niseko this is a good option and the price is reasonable given the quality of the accommodation and of the dining.

This hotel is hands down one of the best i have ever stayed in. The staff is amazing, the customer service is top shelf and the amenities are all you could ask for. The onsen is wonderful and all the extras like meals and drinks make for a stellar experience.

Everybody was amazing!!

The ryokan experience was wonderful, in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The room was very spacious, and our private onsen was heavenly!! Plus we loved the room clothes and pajamas which were provided for our stay.
I wish the shuttle to the ski resorts was more flexible and frequent. Would be great to have some night time shuttle options as well, to explore other areas or even night skiing.

Absolutely beautiful property!!

We had a wonderful stay at Moku No Sho. The property is classic, with luxurious spaces in the common areas, and generous amentities like free champagne and wine, and marshmellows roasting by the fireplace. The onsen is beautiful, with an outdoor space where you can enjoy soaking surrounded by the snow. The food is amazing, our dinner is kaiseki style, with fresh Hokkaido seafood, vegetables, and black haired beef. There was a large free drinks menu, including beers, sake, whiskey, etc. The breakfast was delicious too, with grilled cod and many assortment of food. The room is spacious, a bit old but kept up nicely. We didn't spend too much time there as we went for the onsen and food experiences.
It's definitely one of the best experiences we've had!

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The room was spacious and clean (we had picked the one with private hot springs tub). It was amazing to be able to soak in the private outdoor tub with nature view. Very pampering to be able to wear hotel PJs to go eat breakfast and dinner downstairs which were always luxury multi course delicious meals. They provide shuttle to train station and shuttle several times a day to various nearby ski areas. Great stay overall.

Best experience ever. Modern ryokan with fill service. Meals (breakfast and lunch) inclusive and free flow bar at night. Everything felt very exclusive.

Quick and responsive email communications about the hotel policy of Novel Coronavirus outbreak. Excellent arrangement per our request. Luckily we had an enjoyable stay without trip disruption.

Everything was excellent! From arrival to departure. Only negative point was a group of loud Chinese tourists disrupting the peace and tranquility of the place with their loud conversations as they were going back to their rooms.

A wonderful experience staying in such a cozy hotel. Meals served are satisfactory. Free flow of drinks and snacks at the common room is out of expectation. Lying down on the sofa at the common area with a glass of wine is so relaxing. The whole package here is surely memorable.

This hot springs hotel is one of the most beautiful, luxurious, and restful properties weve ever stayed at. From the design of the lobby, the rooms, and the baths to the delectable meals and the very attentive service, Moku No Sho is truly a special place. The rooms are a mix of Japanese and Western, with beautiful woodwork and some with private outdoor baths. The meals are served in private rooms overlooking a river, and the rate is all-inclusive, including alcoholic drinks and various snacks. The meals themselves use fresh, local ingredients in innovative ways. Most of all, the design blends modernist architecture with traditional Japanese elements, creating a space that is stunning yet intimate. Our only regret is that we could only stay here for one night. If youre near Niseko, stay at this hotel--you wont regret it.

This onsen was AMAZING! I have been to other onsens in the past and this has been my best experience thus far. The private onsen room is a must and my husband and I highly enjoyed the privacy. The menu was traditional Japanese style and every bite was delicious. All food and beverages were included in the price, which was a great surprise! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Had an amazing stay here with my boyfriend for his 30th birthday. The private onsen with the large room along with the premium kaiseki meal made it a very memorable stay for us both and definitely worth every penny! The staff were really attentive and even gave us a small gift. Would recommend staying here to make your trip in Japan truly special.

We like the quietness and relaxing environment of the hotel. However, upon our three times visits, precheck in communication either through Expedia messaging or email communication was not responsive at all as no reply and very late reply accordingly ( fast reply through Expedia messaging in the past years)For dinner venue arrangement, it seems that the hotel group all Chinese guests in the restaurant disregard the booking room type ( we had all our meals in private room in the past visits and we even didn’t notice there is a restaurant with multiple tables for service)

The private onsen in the room is disappointing, the water temperature is not stable, most of the time is cool...

Excellent food and service l. The location is quite remote but we have drivers to take us around so it is fine. Hotel provided shuttle service too. You need to book it in advance. This time they have free flow wine during dinner nd later evening time. I would love to stay here again for my next ski trip

Staying here was one of the most fabulous experiences. The breathtaking scenery captured you each time. The private onsen with the snow view was fabulous! The staff was always there but not intrusive. The food was superb! I’d like to go there again!

Service is not so good as an Onsen hotel. We were eating the potato at the bar area and we couldn’t find any forks to eat. And the waitress who can speak English and mandarin said they only have 5 forks at their hotel!? Overall it’s a good hotel but no fantastic experience to me.

I had a wonderful stay in Niseko Konbu Onsen Hotel. Although it was only 1 night, it was the highlight of my trip. The hotel is beautiful and room is spacious. Free drinks and marshmallow served in the lobby.Kaiseki dinner which was included in the room charge was great also, especially when you take the window seat, the view is awesome. I want to specially highlight the service standard of their staff. When I made a careless mistake to leave behind my hat on their shuttle bus next morning when making my way to Hilton Hotel. I called back and asked whether they can return the hat to me on the next shuttle bus. However, when I called, the next shuttle bus was leaving their hotel already. So in the end, they purposely drive down (30 mins drive in snow) to Hiton hotel to return my hat. This is the highest service standard that a customer can expect and other hotels around the world should learn from them. Will definitely go back again. And if you are thinking of staying in Niseko, dont hesitate to book with them. I guarantee you will have a wonderful time there.

It was a great experience to stay in this hotel. Food, service, room are great except those uncivilized guests ,who speaks Mandarin, behave rude and speaks too loud. It has shuttle service and stuffs there are very nice and helpful (tho they speak limit English)

The hotel is in a good location, close enough to the action, but far enough to offer some peace and serenity. On site onsen is nice as it has both indoor and outdoor parts and taking a hot spring bath outdoors when it's snowing is definitely an experience not to be missed.
