I have stayed in many of the Golden motels. This is a clean option to well worn ones in the town site and worth the drive up the hill.

Looked nice as we puled up, then the main parking lot was so small you could barley fit through. checked in, easy, got to the room looked clean then looked closer and there were bugs everywhere. all around the windows were dead and alcove little brown bugs with wings, flies all over. same little bugs all over the floors. everything was quite clean, wiped down and no garbage. but those bugs we’re disgusting, and to have so many dead one laying around. that’s not okay.

We called in just as they were closing for the night, but they left the key in the mailbox with instructions and we were able to let ourselves in. This worked for us, but there were other keys there, and I wonder about the security of leaving people's keys were anyone could take them. Also, we couldn't get the wifi to work.

We stayed for 2 nights at the property. Room was a bit small but had all the conveniences. Staff were helpful. Indian restaurant next door serves great food.

The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom fan was quite noisy when first turned on and full of dust. At times the highway noise was loud. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would have enjoyed the hot tub after our hike but it was out of order. All in all, a good stay.

We were very disappointed. Details that add to the uncomfortably stayed. We came from a large trip to enjoy the swimming pool and the water was dirty and cold, kids were sad, hot tub water was also cold. The room was nice and clean but we could hear the other rooms noises, we could even hear the movie and their conversations. We felt very uncomfortable. The coffee and tea didn’t taste nothing. The machine for coffee needs to be moved and plugged on the sink because there was not a place over the table. No breakfast. The room was super hot and when we turn on the air conditioner it was súper loud. The pop vending machine stole my money with a hole in the cash receipt.. the drawer’s handles on the furniture were missing and some of them fell off. There was not a hunger to put the towel in the bathroom. We are not a picky family.. but overall it was not a nice experience. We expected more for the price.

For the price, I expected better condition of the interior. Any renovations done were piece meal and everything else was in need of replacing or repair. The entry door had spaces along the frame that were open to the outdoors. I could see sunshine coming through them illuminating the room.

It is with Indian restaurant and food was awesome. It is on Trans Canada Highway and very easy to find. It is very near to the Golden Sky Bridge.

So clean!!! There was issue with the toilet and they resolved immediately. The Cuban lady employed there was amazing. The pool was very cold and the hot tub jets were broken and it was only a “warm tub” so kids were disappointed but otherwise we were all very happy!

Not happy that the door to the outside of the building was propped open. Then the door to our room did not have a safety latch so I wedged a chair under the doorknob. Female travellers need to feel secure, this place does not provide that. There was scaffolding outside the window and the window was not locked which was only discovered by accident.The rooms A/C was overly loud and did not work with the Remote. Toilet struggled to flush and took long time to refill. IPool area bathroom was dirty as w as the pool area.

The loft suite was perfect for our family with mountain views, a powerful A/C downstairs. The room we rented was charming and welcoming. The staff was helpful and nice. We did have a leak in the kitchenette taps when turned on. The ceiling of the upstairs bathroom needed maintenance but for the price, this was a Golden opportunity (sorry, I had to). It made our kid SUPER happy to have essentially a room of her own.

This hotel overall was decent. The room definitely did not look like the pictures. The A/C worked, room was clean but Bathroom was grimey. TV didn’t work. Not really any noise cancelling between rooms. There was a very loud man yelling around 11/midnight, thankfully didn’t wake our baby. The room they initially gave us wasn’t ready but they quickly got us in a different one. Sucked walking up stairs with luggage and a baby but overall I’d still recommend it. No breakfast offered and we didn’t try the small pool.
