Comfortable compact room. View of the pool from patio was nice. we enjoyed a nice meal at the Cabanna hotel restaurant, good service, and good food. I wish we had time to go in the pool, it looked refreshing. Only issue we had was trying to cool the room down in the evening when I got to work. Could not figure out the AC.

Stayed with a courtyard view. It was great to have a tropical-esq view. Cabana Restaurant was good. Nothing I would go out for, but for not having to leave the hotel, it was more than acceptable.

I booked this hotel for my daughter's 16th birthday. We had 2 rooms booked, and everything was perfect. I had told the hotel in advance that it was my daughter's birthday, and they left an adorable hand written card and little snack basket for her. It was so above and beyond!! We frequently stay in hotels, and I almost never write reviews, but this hotel deserves a huge rave. Everything was amazing and clean. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The atrium is STUNNING!! It did NOT feel like you were in a hotel, and certainly not in Vernon! We live in the Okanagan, and I will definitely book this hotel again for any staycation, and recommend it to any friends and family coming to visit. ABSOLUTELY recommend!!!

This is a great location for the surrounding area — easy access via car or walk — a unique common area interior — incredibly friendly staff — not crowded — attached to good restaurants. I would very much like to return someday.

This property has seen better days,still a nice hotel to stay in, pub grub very good. It could use a total reno, get rid of the old stuff,spruce up the rooms & do something about the route march from the lobby to some rooms,needs another elevator on the other side of the hotel.

Older hotel that has been renovated nicely. Good wifi speed and great staff. Pub had good food and friendly staff. Room smelled of cigarette smoke. No other rooms available at the time of our stay.

The room was mediocre, there were no screens on the windows and windows were full of webs and debris. The pool was cold and there were several black bugs or flies in the water. The hallways had fans blowing and was quite warm. There carpets were stained and most doors and walls in the hallways were dirty or marked up.

As expected, no major issues. We had breakfast near the pool and I found the service lacking despite the restaurant being somewhat empty. The server was just a bit too glib for me. The parking could be cleaned up a bit. Swept and painted.

The staff was exceptional, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom a little on the small side but very clean. And they allow dogs!! Yay for Vernon Prestige Inn!

Only issue was the first night at late check in (11:30 pm), we were exhausted & found one bed had dog hair & makeup on the fitted sheet next to the pillow. Called the front desk & he brought a replacement sheet.

We looked out on the highway, so I can’t comment on noise levels from inner courtyard. The inner courtyard was very pleasant to have Sunday Brunch in. The staff were attentive at the restaurant. Overall the hotel was good value and clean. I wish it had 2 elevators, but otherwise it was fine.

0ne of the best holidays i had with my son and his wife and his kids.My daughter's son came with us as well. I phoned ahead of the trip and had a shower chair ready for me which made it so easy! With 6 of us the rooms were very spacious, lots of room to move around.

Inside atrium is the highlight of this property. Rooms are clean and modern although it would be nice if they had smart T.V.'s so you could access your Netflix account. Little disappointed with food prices at the Cabana restaurant, if they were lower we would have dined there more frequently.

This hotel has a nice Atrium inside which has a pool and restaurant/bar, first floor rooms surround the pool area so you can walk out of your patio doors directly to the pool area.

Hotel was generally clean and well cared for. But for the price I feel they could have done a bit better in some areas. E.g. beds were hard and springy, the room we had was in the lower level and felt like a basement. And the air conditioning barely worked at night making the room hot and stuffy. Was happy they accept pets there, that was a good thing.

Teenagers running around unattended in the hallways and in the hot tub. Atrium is good, should be adults only hour in hot tub area from 10-11pm. NO KIDS OR TEENS AFTER 10!

We stayed for a few nights over the summer as a family of three with a toddler. We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and was affordable. It was in a convenient part of town and we enjoyed the Brixx bar downstairs - the Thursday burger special was delicious. The cleaning staff were very polite and greeted us in our comings and goings. In saying that, it was an average experience overall. The pictures online made it seem nicer than it was. I thought the indoor pool would be at least a little warm and there would have been a ledge or similar in a shallow end so you could do more than just stand. The doors and walls are thin - pre-teen kids were running up and down the corridors late on a couple of nights which woke us up. And the reception staff didn't really greet you as you come and go. Everywhere you looked things were a little cheap, but not terrible. All in all, it was okay - parts that impressed us and some bits there were lackluster.

Being beside the pool was nice and convenient for our family however, our room smelled of mold and didn’t seem overly clean as there was someone else’s hair in the bathroom. The restaurants seemed like they would be good but when we sat down it took over an hour to get our food and when it did come out was missing parts of what we ordered, drinks came out 20 mins after you ordered them and for the price of things it just wasn’t worth it.
