Staff gave us an early check in and the whole process took less than two minutes. We found the room to be very clean and comfortable, well stocked with toiletries and towels. Overnight, things were quiet and the room temperature was easy to regulate. Margie's Diner, located right next to the hotel, was an excellent choice for 2 of our meals. We left behind 2 coats in our room closet, and when we contacted the hotel they notified us they had been found and would be waiting for us in the lobby on our return trip - and they were, wrapped neatly in a traveling bag and on a hangers. Overall an excellent experience and we highly recommend this hotel.

I am 73 and when making reservation I have requested a 1st floor room in Oakdale, Ca and Paso Robles, Ca but I have never been given one. I ask again when checking in and still not given one. Thankful BW has had elevators. What do I need to do to get a ground floor room?

Great choice with spacious room and good layout. Love the ‘no pets’ policy as those with animal allergies can appreciate. Nice amenities and comfortable beds.

RUN AWAY!!! This place is committing fraud. This is a cheap motel charging hotel prices. Our room smelled of cigarettes, the shower was clogged and hadn’t been cleaned from the last person so the last guests’ shampoo and soap scum was still all over the shower to the point where we couldn’t even shower. There were stains all over the carpet and construction workers drinking in their trucks in the parking lot. Your door faces outside to the parking lot because THIS IS A CHEAP MOTEL but somehow had the audacity to charge us $320 a night. We wouldn’t have agreed to stay here at that price knowing that this was a motel. They don’t even have a lobby it’s just a room where they give you granola bars in the morning as breakfast. Since they don’t have any food they offer $5 coupons to the diner next door .. as if $5 can buy you anything more than a coffee. The definition of a 3 star hotel online says they should have a kitchen onsite and additional amenities but this place doesn’t even have that. They are committing fraud by posing as a hotel and trying to charge hotel prices.

The Best Western is an average hotel/motel. It's located right off the highway on a commercial street in Paso Robles. Its location is a short drive to downtown, making it convenient to wine tasting, shopping and restaurants. I can see how families enjoy the pool and jacuzzi which both looked clean and inviting. Right now there's construction going on, which is a minor inconvenience. Weekend pricing was $360/night - what the market can bear. But the price/value ratio is skewed all over Paso.

Hotel is very dated. Room smelled like smoke and there were spider webs on the curtains. The carpet was dark brown and worn. The furniture was not comfortable and was dated. The lobby is under construction and tiny with dated decor. The location was convenient.

My group of friends had a great stay here. We enjoyed the “grab and go” snack bags. The pool towels could have been stocked and cleaned up better tho. And access to the sauna could have been easier too (you have to get a key from the front desk, but first they have to “give it 15 minutes to warm up.”)

Easy check in, great location, nice clean rooms, and has all the essentials you want such as pool, jacuzzi, gym, cafe, etc. It also next to a little strip mall with Starbucks and other little restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here next time you’re in Paso Robles!

This was an overnight stay on our way to somewhere else. We got into PasoRobes around 115 . We hit up s couple of local breweries before we checked in to the hotel. Check in was easy. The room was very clean and updated. The hotel location is close to the freeway. Starbucks is next door. We went into the cute Paso Robles downtown and shopped around and had drinks at Cane Tiki Room(delicious rum drinks) and had dinner at Fish Gaucho.

Everything was fine, not great but not awful. We woke up around 8:20am one morning to people walking on the roof above us, which was disconcerting. When we asked the front desk about it later, they just said that they have been getting the roof fixed recently but no one tells them when the workers are showing up. Also, Margie's Diner would not let me redeem the $5 voucher the hotel gave me because I didn't order a "full meal" even though voucher didn't have any order restrictions on it. The diner said someone at the hotel should have told me that and when I said something to the hotel front desk later, they were confused/unaware of restrictions on voucher. But for the most part, the hotel wasn't too bad and I slept fine. I might stay here again if the price is good.

Actually, we had a no refundable rate. We pulled into the parking lot which was completely under construction. We were not made aware when I booked or before we arrived that the area was a mess. Despite losing the prepaid amount, we drove to another hotel. Shame on you for taking folks’ money without alerting us that it might not be a suitable place to overnight in Paso.
