Incredibly beautiful place in an unexpected discovery that we were staying in an ancient fortress of an ancient city. Could not ask for more in such conditions, where everything was ancient in the city but everything in the hotel was modern. Small room, but incredibly quaint, and the bathroom was glorious, shower was incredible, water pressure and temperature perfect. Only said to discover I couldn't stay more days as they close mid week in the winter. That was a first ever surprise. In any event, this place is magical. Book the spa in advance as it is booked solid and Tier 1 Clarins spa. Incredible experience and I'll be back! :)

The room was so bad we did not stay. This hotel shows their top room in a photo and it is a scam as the room we were given was dark, small, with a low ceiling like a cell in a prison.
No room for a desk, no jug, no tea making facility, dreadful stone steps to access, bathroom you could hardly turn around in.
Decor non existent. We asked for the room in the photo provided with our booking or our money back. They offered us a room that was fairly comparable with a slightly higher ceiling! So depressing we left.
The only positive was the very helpful staff member that helped us book an air bnb!
We felt totally scammed by this very expensive experience.we complained to Hotels.com and received an apology. As we did not stay in this hotel and it was not as advertised this is of no help to us.

Every thing has fabulous. Location, our chambers and 6 course Michelin dinner.

The staff was great and the hotel is beautiful. Super comfortable bed and linen. The only comment I have is that the acoustic isolation in the rooms is not so good. I could hear the people in the next rooms and in the morning I woke up with noises from the corridor. For a light sleeper like me, it’s not ideal. But all the rest was fantastic.

Quaint town. A nice retrieve from the bustle of a big city. Very clean and quiet. The hotel was beautiful. Staff was helpful. If you dine there at the hotel, expect an expensive 4 hour deal. My only complaint is that the mattress sagged in the middle and needs to be updated. Also, our bathroom was small with no counter space. Just a pedestal sink. Other than that, a beautiful little hotel in a very clean, well preserved UNICEF town.

The hotel us beautiful. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. But, we booked this hotel as it was a spa hotel and we wanted to spend some time in the sauna and rest. The spa was only available with pre booking with slots of half an hour and a charge of 25 euros for a person!!! I think it’s rude not to mention it in the hotel description. Also, we wanted to book and they only had slots after check out. We were very disappointed.
Also, very important to know that our room was on a second floor with no elevator. Not a good fit for older people or people with disabilities.

The hotel is nestled in the beautiful village of Uzès. The Maison has lots of history and is in walking distance from the town square with restaurants and shops.

Celebrated my daughter’s birthday and it was perfect. We know Uzès very well but it was our first time at La Maison d’Uzès and we were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The spa was wonderful and our massage therapist fabulous.Highly recommended.

Stunning hotel with great interiors whilst retaining historic features - our double room was a bit small but comfortable with a huge modern bathroom. No tea or coffee making facility in room - definitely recommend staying here!

We loved this place! It is like being in your own elegant mansion. Beautiful, tasteful, updated, modern. Both the folks at L'Maison and in Uze's were very friendly and warm. It had a small town feel.

By local standards maybe this boutique hotel is a bit over-priced but by metropolitan city (Paris, N.Y., San Francisco, London, etc..) standards this is an extremely good value. Uzes is one of the best kept secrets in Southern France and la Maison d'Uzes is a pearl in Uzes. It took over 4 years to restore the building that the hotel is housed in. The results are understated and grand at the same time. The hotel has about 12 rooms, a spa, and a restaurant.
We have owned a vacation home near Uzes for over 25 years and we know the town extremely well. At la Maison Uzes you get the full Laguedoc/Provancal experience, with the restored building it self, the food and wine, the Provencal friendliness, the pedestrian explorations of Uzes, and a spa treatment if you wish. The service is excellent and completely personalized without being contrived. I'm not sure if it would be the same during high season but in February when most other places are close this was certainly the case!
Although we own a vacation home less than 20 minutes from Uzes my wife and I plan to spend a week-end at la Maison Uzes as a treat away from home but not away from the familiar delights of Uzes.
If you are used to the prices of nice boutique hotels in the large metropolitan cities I would recommend their suites as the rooms are not that large. If you are looking for a great value ($$$) by local standards this hotel is not for you.

Beautiful building and great staff in a charming town.

Fantastic attention to detail and service. No shower, only a bath in the room with a shower attachment. May have been my oversight but was the only thing that was remarkable. The spa was also shut due to annual cleaning.......bad luck I suppose? Food in restaurant was exceptional.
